With all these roblox gamemodes that Hodot made going around, I thought it would be a fun idea if somebody re-created that old Rocket Launcher that they unfortunately do not use anymore.

Basically it looks like stuff and it has a delay before it fires, its a 1x1x4(or 5?) brick that is fired from said rocket launcher and its really slow. Incase you don't have a clue of how it works, here's a small clip of it being used

Shouldn't be hard to make since you can probably edit the default rocket launcher, and then just do a model swap and have it fire a custom projectile, but that is a assumptions, if for whatever reason it is actually really hard to make please let know.

Optionally I though it might be fun if by the chance that anybody would be willing to actually make this, that you might give a try to make the other original weapons so that the Roblox gamemodes that Hodot has been making can be much more original to what they where, you know like the slingshot, the trowel, the bombs, the bouncy balls, and the sword.

I have had this idea in my head for a hwile, and after seeing Ze Operator's thread about a dancing animation, I thought its about time it becomes a thing.

So incase you have no idea what a taunt system would even be... basically I'm going to use Team Fortress 2's taunt system as a explanations.

You hold a button or push a button, and you character does a little animation, in TF2 its linked to either your currently held weapon or the taunt you selected in a pop-up menu.

As an example if you where to push say G , a menu would pop up and would show the images of your current taunts, then you would hit a number 0-9 and the taunt would play, for some of them the taunt will continue until you either hit you attack key, or get hurt, some taunts even have an alternate animation that can be triggered by hitting your secondary attack key.

There is also interactive taunts that can be performed, and when a player does a interactive taunt a symbol will show up ontop of them, another player can then go up to the player and push their taunt button to perform the interactive taunt.

The idea is to get something that works most similarly to that in Blockland, the problems I foresee however are the animations, It would be best that you do not require any item to perform these, but rather it would be a Client gui and server based addon.

You would be able to perfrom any taunt at any given time, the taunts will be disabled whenever you playertype is something that is not the default Blockhead, the best thing to do here would be to add a whitelist of what playertypes it can work with, as an example the list of things it would work with would be :

  • Standard Player
  • No Jet Player
  • Jump Jet Player
  • Quake like Player
  • Low Jump Player
  • Sports Player

For some basic taunts I think the following would be good to start with :

Wave - Wave hello to somebody, stops on its own
Laugh - Laughing animation... need I say more? Stops on its own.
Bang - Point your hand like a gun a fire it, stops on its own, optionally can damage a player
Dance -, Stops when you attack
Brick juggle - Bricks are juggled (Not really its just a 1x1, 2x2 Plate, a 1x1 round being tossed around) stops on attack
Point - You point forward, at someone or somebody... anything! Stops on its own.
Rotation - The Blockhead rotates each one of its limbs 360 degrees, stops on its own
Fall Apart - Blockhead's limbs fall to the ground (Fake physics) , attack to stop
F-Bomb - I should not have to explain this one, but it has to do with your middle finger, stops on its own
Air-Thrust - Nothing can stop the pelvic thrust, this one will look very weird since the blockhead has no limbs, stops on its own
2slow - Blockhead runs in place, stops on its own

It would be something like that, also if it where to work with BLG's Prefs it would be great, and of course it would have expandability similar to how ther hat mod does it.

I know nobody is obligated to make it, its a suggestion that hopefully can become an addon one day, and hopefully to make the experience on other servers more lively, I can see it being used on servers like the New Years server, a random TDM, some RP, even a zombie survival one, or just to make everything feel better.

Come on don't you think its time for the Blockhead to be able to do more than just Emit Puffs of black smoke, hearts, or exclamation marks? We need more than hugs!

Another tragic most likely terrorist based crime that may change airline security again.

Great now we can expect laptops to be banned on airplanes.
Also there is rumors that at least one person got sucked out of the cabin but that's unconfirmed.

Basically an edit of the default rocket launcher, that fires metal folding chairs and says this.

I guess this would require a model for one of those folding metal chairs, and if for some reason you have no idea what one looks like :

So a very long time ago Youngrotations had these giant gear items that where like special effects.

They worked very similar to Item_Fan , I believe they are private, but its been a few year now and was wondering if they still are and if not, if I could get my hands on it, I could care less about the spotlight bricks, those can be remade easily I just need that giant gear thing for a build.

I really hope they aren't still private, because if they are its really disappointing but...understandable.

Well thanks I guess for the poll.

But the best ISP around here in southern california is Verizon, I don't know how it is for others but it worked for us... still better than having an outage...

Help / RTB Buffer Overrun Crash

Whenever I try to host a game with RTB exceeding the old datablock limit, RTB decides to give me a big "forget you" and crash.

Countless times I tried to get it fixed, using default addons only with RTB fixes it only because I do not exceed the old datablock limit.

But once go over the old datablock limit into the new one, RTB throws a fit and crashes over and over again with the last thing in the console being "Buffer Overrun Detected" and then it crashes.

I have been able to host a server without RTB exceeding the old addon limit and everything works fine, but if I choose to enable RTB , as soon as I reach loading datablocks RTB starts spamming in the console "Buffer overrun" till a crash happens.

Even gutted down to just the pref manager (RTB without everything else but the pref manager) same result, loading datablocks>buffer overrun>Blockland.exe has encountered an error and needs to close.

This is a stripped down version of RTB with a fixed prefs system.

Any help will be appreciated, if you require a console.log let me know, I can replicate this error very easily.

Basically RTB without Mod manager, chat and colorset manager, leaving only the Pref Manager that it added.

Basically need this because RTB currently does not work with the new datablock limit, and I have a ton of addons that have configurable prefs, changing each pref via a chat command is very annoying and time costly, iso I though it would be really neat if we could just extract the Pref Managing part of RTB and make it a standalone addon that will most likely work with the new datablock limit.

Add-Ons / Theme - Zetro Ui V01

      Current Version - V01

Originally this theme was a private modification of Burnt glass, but then it eventually became its own thing, with the intent to be a modern version of Blockland's aging default Torque theme, since then it started as the Modern UI around the time Windows 8 with Update 1 came out, but then I decided to not release it and instead wait for Windows 10 Resources to come out so it can be more up to date.

This was originally supposed to come out two years ago as the Modern UI for Blockland, but back then I was busy with High School and many things IRL where limiting my time from Blockland, so it was done slowly, I know many of you guys would say that its something that can be done very quick, and I believe you, I just took my time making this, and even now it is still incomplete, some things still need to be done, I will explain that later though.


  • All Windows have a thin border
  • Window Buttons are the same ones used in Windows 10
  • All buttons (Majority of them) are now flat
  • New FX Paint Icons
  • Square UI ingame
  • Square Ratio Buttons (They where going to be round but, I wanted this to stand out)
  • Flat White Cursor (You can get them for your PC too! Just Search "Metro X3 Cursor" and click the deviantart link)
  • Custom Crosshair (Someone on the forums made it but then it disappeared)

To-Do AKA Coming in Future Updates

  • White title Buttons
  • Miniscroll Reskinned
  • Separate Resources for things like the Crosshair
  • White Text on Buttons (Recommended by Greek)
  • Display Settings Buttons Flattened
  • Support for other addons that use custom resources

  • At the moment you an not use this Theme combined with other themes( I haven't tested it but, you can try it but if something happens, don't blame me!
  • The Main Menu buttons aren't done (Time constraints caused this, sorry, but it will be done in a future update)
  • If you have any suggestions please post them!

The Existing one is not that helpful now that many router's port forwarding setup has changed and then on the windows side of things (firewall, network settings) are very outdated.

Some things like "What to do if your using IPV6" or "what if I use a Static IP" Need to be added as well.

If someone could please update it would be greatly appreciated.

I find it very bothersome that we can't see other player's decals/faces, unless we have the same one downloaded.
So here is the big question, is it possible to make an addon that fixes this, even with hacky workarounds?

Maybe have the downloads be passive while your walking around in server? I honestly don't know how this would be done... I honestly would not care for the risk of players making nsfw stuff as a decal, it happens all the time on other games like in tf2 with sprays and stuff usually never gets done about it, and if it does happen I guess you could make it so you can "block" a player's decals in the player list.

I think this would only work better if it would be done through the engine though.

So I was thinking of making a challenge server the other day, but then I remembered that many challenges had issues with players colliding against each other, and then people that intentionally Block areas or hop on top of each other to cheat or skip a challenge.

So is it possible to make a script that disables player collision? If not I'll just go ahead a nd lock it.
