Games / The Division - Anybody played recently?

I'm looking through my steam library trying to figure out what game I can play since all my friends are playing something new from the sale, and due to my recently saving escapade, I'm trying out old games and seeing if any updates have improved games.

How's the Division? Does anyone still play it? Has anyone played it recently?
I'm pretty sure its not even worth my time to download it, I hopped off the game hype probably around May 2016.

Let me know your thoughts please, whether you still play or have played recently!

-Super durable (I've been using a moto phone and it was really durable, but the hardware kinda sucks)
-Not iPhone, Samsung, or any stuffty off-brand.
-4G
-Released in the past three years
-Not a stuff camera, gotta have front and back
-Under £400

Off Topic / I've been living in Malawi, one of the poorest countries for the past year, AMA.

What was only meant to be a two month trip to save the orphans in Malawi, Southern Africa, the trip turned out to be a year after I was hired by the backpackers lodge I was staying in. The lodge I was managing is the biggest in the country, and with 0 in my bank account, and nobody I knew in the entire country, I had a fresh start at life.
As the manager, I had 30 members of staff, a restaurant, bar, lounge, rooms, camping space, and pool to manage.

I had very limited internet access, at £2/GB and pretty slow speeds. I also only had my laptop with me and didn't play many computer games over this entire time. Instead, I spent a lot of time outside, building different things (a motorcross track, knives, wooden sculptures). I also drank a lot and smoked a lot of weed.
After only being paid $300 a month (which is a lot of money in Malawi), I started to sell weed where I would be pushing 2-3 ounces a day. I soon became one of the biggest drug dealers in the country, completely by accident.
As I didn't have the correct visa, I was also working illegally, and had many occasions of nearly being caught by the police.

I've returned back to England to continue my game design degree, which I will finish in two years.

Off Topic / 2D game engine that uses C++?

Hey forums. Africa is going well. I've been here for three months now and have another nine till I leave.

I've kinda been missing game design so I'd like to make a terraria style game using C++.
Terraria uses C# on Microsoft's XNA engine.
Anyone have any good suggestions? Previously I used Allegro which was great but way too slow.

My new housemate has an xbox1 so I've made myself an account. Since im still in Africa the internet is kinda stuffty as I hotspot it off my phone.
Pretty much only playing rb6 siege, forza, bf4 and payday 2.

Off Topic / Furdles Africa Adventure 2 :: I am now living here for a year

Hello friends.
Malawi is going well. Been here for a month now.
I've been working as a foreman on an orphanage, building and renovating the living room and two large dorms.
Having some trouble with the charity leader so it looks like ill probably quit and move to another charity after the build is complete. I've been offered a couple jobs as a foreman and also a manager of a bar out here (due to my previous experience as a barman) so I'm pretty happy. Also spent my 21st birthday out here which was a week ago.

Things are going well.

Got a big ol update for all of you.

I'm thinking of moving out here for the next year. I've had countless job offers from local charities and the camp where I stay in (hostel/bar/swimming pool/resturant/long stay houses/tents)
I'd be working as an assistant manager out here, and working for charities on my days off as a project manager.

Although it does mean that I'd have to quit university and deal with my parents basically disowning me.

Just as I was typing this message I met up with the boss of the camp and he's offered me a job, I start tuesday!
I'll probably be working as an illegal since the work visa is like $1000USD.

This does however mean that I will not be able to play any computer games until Malawi sorts out its stuffty internet.

Yeah so how sick was that last night?!
Only downside is that Ramsey died because he was definitely my favourite character. Gets stuff done, has cool battle plans, loves his doggies, psychologist, strong leader, and above all else, pretty damn handsome.

That battle scene was sick and i loved the shield wall tactic. Shame about the actor who played riccon, he literally had no time to shine.

Games / Bethesda debate: Fallout or Elderscrolls?

Just out of interest, what would you rather pick in this scenario.

Bethesda decides for some strange loving reason to only continue with one of their franchises. Which one would you rather chose to keep?

Going to guess the majority would chose elder scrolls but my vote is definitely for fallout. I feel a lot more connected to that game.
