YorkTown95's CRP (City Role Play)
...And we're back (again).

Hello everyone, Jasa and I are officially proud to announce that we're opening up this Friday on April 11th, 2014 at 7pm CST (8pm EST) as we promised to open on Spring 2014. For those if you that are interested in joining with us on Friday, we'd love for your interest in coming to support the server opening, Jasa will be providing more detail of the CRP functions itself later, but I will just post the basic details on here.

In addition, the Administration Team (Nobot is in charge of this) will be offering a bonus on this behalf, the first five people that connect into the server on the opening, will receive $250 and will be added into their bank account, first come served.

For right now, I will be adding more details later into the OP whenever I get some free time on my part.

EDIT: We've moved the opening date on April 18th, 2014, at 4pm CST (5pm EST)

I'm sorry to inform all of you that the CRP will in fact not be opening tomorrow. Me and York figured that for the good of the server we will postpone the opening until Friday, April 18th, at 4 PM.
This is to ensure the quality of the server at opening. There are some features to the CRP client that I would like to add but can't get it done in time for the opening tomorrow. We also need more time to work on the city as we do not have enough builders actively working on it.

About:

YorkTown95 has a long history of hosting CityRPGs back 4-5 years ago. It started out when Diggy introduced the CityRPG mod to YorkTown95; this is what motivated YorkTown95 into hosting CityRPGs. YorkTown95 started out hosting the CityRPG from the start, with assistance by various scripters such like Moppy, Clockturn, Ipquarx, etc, and from various related CityRPG hosts, such as Pitfall, Diggy, Wicked, and Moppy; they were great on their work (mostly from Diggy himself).

Two years ago, YorkTown95 started to use Jasa's CRP gamemode when Jasa himself invited YorkTown95 to use his very own gamemode that he made from scrap, and today, with the awesomeness of YorkTown95, Jasa, and Swat725, the admins will have a great experience in making the server a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone in the server.

Before you can play on the servers, please refer to the server guidelines that are posted in the links section; they will help you to have fun in the server. I would love to hear about feedback, please post them here for me to get an idea of what you want to see. If you're having an issue regarding about a player/moderator or myself in general on the server, please private message me personally so we can sort this out in a nice and fair manner. Please do not post it in this thread publicly, where everyone will see it; I would like to discuss those manners in private. But, if you have any questions in general, feel free to leave your post; I will be happy to answer any questions.

If you don't know what CRP means, for long it means CityRP. For updates about the CRP Gamemode, refer to Plexious's (Jasa) 2nd OP post for updates.

Staff Team:

This is our current staff as of now, they're the "go to" people if you have suspect a player breaching into our rules. Keep in mind these staff members will have either a purple admin tag or an orange moderator tag next to their name. If its about the gamemode itself, its advised to ask an admin to get any help. Asking to become a moderator will ruin your chances of becoming one in the future.

As you may of noticed, he asked for a CityRPG scripter and first started making this thread here. (I would quote it but he locked the thread.)

And then couple minutes later I noticed this thread here too, related to his other topic, and was curious if Jookia (the original creator of CityRP) was active.

And another note that I've noticed this thread here which bumped Sylvanor's thread that was a month old:

Is this some sort of way of sucking moppy's richard? I believe so that he was being the ass here because he emote spammed and didn't make any sense. I'll have you know that moppy stopped scripting and wanted to do something else on what moppy wanted to do, and then suddenly a wild guy comes out of nowhere, bumps the thread and then goes pouring a bowl of unneeded insults at me because the way I was posting. Besides you would talk to the wrong person now would you Zimmy?

Current preview of the CityRPG server.

About YorkTown95's CityRPG server:
YorkTown95's CityRPG was hosted back in August 2010 and ended in October 2010, we finally bring back the enjoyment of this server, YorkTown95's CityRPG was lost back in October 2010, and couple of days ago (As of 12/30/11) York has managed to find it once again and is now running normally. The server had a topic about it in the gallery section which is located in the link section.

If you like to be updated on my CityRPG Progress (If you have a SteamID), You may join the YorkTown95 Central group to stay posted.

This server is running Jasa's CRP (CityRPG mod) which this has a separate discussion, you can visit that thread that is located in the links section.

Here is a picture of the CRP Client:

This won't even disappoint anyone, but its in a work in progress (As of 2/20/12).

Reporting a player:
You have two choices to report someone from a server.

• You must send a PM to one of the following admins (Which you're welcome to PM me of course)
• Go to the YorkTown95 Central group chatroom and the admins will be waiting in there. (Even if you're banned from posting PMs, this is still a good idea.) (Eventually I'll try to convince my admins to get in the chatroom to watch any activity)

But remember you must provide proof first (Screenshots, video, anything that will help us.)

So I was reading this thread and I figured that Shinji will finish boot camp this Friday.

So he was gone for about 3 months and I was surprised that he will finish up his boot camp, so does that mean that is he returning back next week or what? I would be glad if he does return. I haven't made any contact with Shinji at the moment, but I was looking at old stuff and then I wanted to look at his profile and then suddently November 4 is coming up, I'll be surprised if Shinji returns.

Discuss.

Off Topic / Facebook spambots (Gotta hate them).

I just hate it that people click on links that activate the spambot (which appears that their accounts get hacked), I've got like 10 messages on my posts I've made before, and for the love of god, its pissing me off that my friends click stupid stuff that they're not suppose to.

For an example here when I visited the Subway facebook page:



The red circles represents the people that has been hacked, they post everywhere in every second.

Now before you tell me that I should deactivate my facebook account, I don't plan on it at the moment because I use it for other stuff that I keep up with (please do not ask me what I do), What I've done so far was removed the friends that I didn't cared at all, now If it ever gets worse like if it gets pretty bad, I plan on deactivating my facebook for about a month or so.

Some of you might say that facebook is horrible, yeah I can respect with you, but I don't think its bad at all for me, and trust me I barely use facebook on my computer, I mainly access facebook off my smartphone.

So anyways who else is suffering from this too?

This is his thread he created saying that he's new, few pages later, starts posting disturbing images.

Clearly he will get banned soon, because I'm not amused with this such of type of non-sense.

I was looking at this thread when some person needed help with a friend that having a problem with the family.

And so on I saw this from this guy. And the the argument just goes on and goes on being the nice guy as Coolio stated.
