Modification Help / hands and model acting odd whenever i export it

so i need some help with this model, the hands only appear in first person, and the gun itself only appears in third person
(what it looks like in blender)

the empties have non-conflicting names, for all i know
if anyone knows what's going on, please help me because i really wanna get this model fixed up before i release it

FEATURES
- it deals 80 damage for the price of one hit
- virtually no spread
- animations so good it'll make ur mom say "Those are some exceptionally nice animations."
- you can walk 500 miles and 500 more with it
TRIVIA
- there was a previous version that looked like this
- there was supposed to be an equip animation but it broke the entire thing so i just pitched it
- i listened to like 15 ahoy videos while making this
- the model was from The Models Resource
- the equip sound was made by me shaking a backpack like a drunk hobo with a knife

What is it?
Cube 2: Sauerbraten is a free multiplayer & singleplayer first person shooter, the successor of the Cube FPS.
Much like the original Cube, the aim of this game is fun, old school deathmatch gameplay and also to allow map/geometry editing to be done cooperatively in-game.

Drama / Creepy Guy :3 - Obvious Idiot, Rule-breaker

Ok, to start, this all happened on Orangebeak's Freebuild Server.
Got it?
Ok.
So i was looking for a server to join, after my friend decided to stop hosting his server.
I saw this server, and i though, "Oh boy! an actual, non-stuffty freebuild server!"
I was wrong.
So i joined, and the FIRST thing i see is this: a stuff-ton of particle spam, and the host, telling Creepy Guy :3 to stop the spam.
This goes on for a while, but the host left because it was his curfew.
I start telling him to stop the spam, and he starts slapping me.
Then, he tumbled me.
After all that, he tells me, "do you regret your actions?"
So, once all that happens, i tell him to stop with the spam.
I tried to block the present spam with a Crown Victoria, but he starts tumbling me.
Some more of him tumbling/slapping me.
The spam.
More slapping.
Him tumbling a random player 5 times.
He bans me for 1 minute (for no reason) with the reason, "lol noob".
After that, he starts Dwanding random builds he deemed "too old".
Sadly i didn't get his BLID, but if you ever meet him, ignore him, and ban him from your servers.

What are these paints?
The paints, in order, are:
Stepping on this will make you bounce in the air.
Stepping on this type of paint will give you extra running speed, until you step off of it.
Stepping on this will make you stick to the wall at the current angle it's at.
