Off Topic / Steam trying to install 0 byte update of gmod workshop content

Steam keeps trying to install a 0 byte update to the workshop content for my Gmod. The issue being that it takes priority over every other download and it will not download because there is nothing to download. Anyone else have this issue and know of a fix other than uninstalling Gmod?

Off Topic / Molten needs a headset or mic

I need a mic or headset so that I can talk to people. Cheaper the better but I don't want to sound like I'm chewing on a sock. For a mic one that comes with a small stand and doesn't require a boom is preferred. I'd prefer headsets to be split plugs so I don't have to find a splitter to go with it. I will sacrifice headset audio output if it means better input.

Off Topic / Molten needs a new phone

So my current phone is stuff and I know nothing about phones so I need help finding an affordable phone that:
*Is supported by Boost Mobile
*Has a decent amount of memory, at least 8Gb but would like more if it's not stupidly expensive
*Doesn't need a good camera, or any camera at all really
*Smart phone (probably a given)
*Doesn't need a super fast processor or some crap, it's a phone not a gaming PC
*Android preferred

Games / Anyone up for Motorstorm Apocalypse

I bought Motorstorm Apocalypse yesterday and I really enjoy it. The problem is that for some stupid reason all the vehicles and parts for said vehicles requires you to play online. I checked and the servers are still up so would anyone want to play it tomorrow at around 3pm est so I can actually get stuff?

I will not be using a mic or even have the volume to hear everyone else though for reasons.

Off Topic / Issues watching HD videos on YT with Chrome

Every time I try to watch a video in HD after a minute or two the video starts to noticeably lag behind the audio before abruptly jumping to where it belongs, it will do this numerous times throughout the video. Any ideas how to fix this without changing browsers?
