Help / Wireless Port Forwarding?
« on: February 18, 2009, 08:47:05 PM »
Ya, so i have a wireless router from verizon that works with broadband or something (For the record i am crap at technical stuff.) I have been following the tutorial but my computer runs on windows vista. I still have the command prompt and whatnot but i cannot access the two DNS codes needed. The router is designed to portforward and ya but i cant. The router has a cable to plug in to my laptop if neecessary but still wont work even with that. Another problem is that when it says define first rule instead of the options it says on the tutorial it says
*Global PortStart
*Global PortEnd
*Base HostPort
*Direction (answers are in or out)
And finally i do not have 1 of those dialup connections folder. Please help. I mean the first person to bother to help gets a million cookies!

p.s. ya i no i made another post exactly  like this but the name didnt qualify with  the rules so i locked it.
