Off Topic / MTA raises the loving subway fare 25 cents

so for context half of ny doesn't own a vehicle because there's no parking spots and the traffic is horrible. all of us have to take the subway and bus instead which is its own loving issue already.
the fare per ride was 2.50 a year ago, then it raised up to 2.75, now they're planning on making it 3 loving dollars. that's 10 dollars extra a month and we take the subway about 2-3 times every loving day
i cant keep up with these price hikes, somebody kill me already

Poland is now welcoming a fresh batch of US troops onto their land as a show of NATO strength. Russia is viewed as a threat and they feel that increasing their armed forces will hopefully scare russia or something.

Existentialism is a philosophy that pertains to the reason for existence and meaning of life. There are four main existentialist categories (they're the most well known and identified in literature)
Theological existentialism
Atheist Existentialism
Absurdist Existentialism
Nihilist Existentialism
Which one are u? Also please don't turn this into a religious argument, be courteous of other people's views and try not to force some ultimatum onto others
Theological existentialism
- There is a meaning to life that is given to everybody, but we are tasked with accepting it ourselves
- There's also meaning to the universe, which is a divine power
- You can't create your own meaning, it's been given to you by a divine power
Atheist Existentialism
- There's a meaning to life
- There's no meaning to the universe
- Only we can create meaning of our lives
Absurdist Existentialism
- There's a meaning to life
- There might be a meaning to the universe, but we'll never know so its not worth getting hung up over
- It's not possible to find true meaning in life, but the pursuit of finding meaning is meaningful. In other words, its like going on an adventure to find a fountain of youth, the thing you're looking for doesn't exist, but the journey there was fun and meaningful.

forget the science description. do you think viruses are classified as life?
my argument: all life boils down to a bunch of elements arranged into proteins, to form certain functions. life doesn't have sentience but can form sentient beings. viruses contain genetic material and are made of the same chemicals as living cells. they have no nucleus, but bacteria dont either and are considered living. viruses need a host to reproduce, but when you think about reproduction, loveually reproducing beings need a host to contain genetic material (sperm and egg)
although they dont grow and just exist as genetic material in a capsule, they are still made of the same materials as other living stuff, they just perform a different function.

Bear with me for a second. I got this cranberry orange flavored lip balm from the store the other day because my lips were literally falling off. It tastes so loving good and i can't stop putting it on my lips because it's so loving delicious

i had it since i was 13 years old and i broke it a year and a half ago when i was 16, so i basically had it for 3 years straight, waking me up every morning. i eventually broke it on purpose to be late for school and have an excuse
i got a new alarm that's a lot softer. however, every time i hear that old alarm sound anywhere (i hear it in TV shows a lot and sometimes on commercials) i literally have a panic attack and get really loving scared.
discuss alarm clock noises that really put you in a stuffty mood
