Does anybody know what happened to Anthonyrules? Been trying to find him for a while for a reunion project, but it seems he's kind of disappeared from the community completely. Just a simple question, please don't stuffpost.

General Discussion / What was Blockland's original target audience?

I've recently been thinking about Blockland and coming back to it. However, a question that comes to my mind is what its original target audience was. Blockland looks like a kids game, no offense, but it has the community of 16 year olds swearing at least one time in each game. Blockland basically looked like a LEGO game back in its early in-development days. I'd like an answer to my question, because it's honestly just a little bit confusing and it's gonna keep me up at night if I don't get an answer.

Talk about Blockland servers you miss if you've ever even played on a Blockland sevrer. Whether or not it makes you nostalgic, talk about it, because I'm a man and I need to cry tears like everybody else by remembering the "good old times" of Blockland.

For me, it has to be two prison break/jailbreak servers. Crown's Jailbreak and Tezuni's Prison Break. forget do I miss playing on them, and I'll be damned if somebody says they weren't at least a little fun. They were two great places that were like temporary icons for Blockland in my opinion.

General Discussion / Ascend's Fatkid [CLOSED]

It's back.

Teams

Fatkid

The Fatkid, a slow and heavy-damage character who will attempt to eat any skinny kids and turn them into skeletal minions. There is only one of him, and he simply respawns when his health reaches zero. He's one big friend to fear.

Skinny Kids

As a skinny kid, you must try and escape the Fatkid. You will have to take down gates to progress further and get new weapons to slow the Fatkid down. If you're able to hold him and his army of skeletons down for 5 minutes, you will be able to survive and the reign of Fatkid will be over.

Skeletons

If you've fallen to the reign of Fatkid and your flesh has been swallowed, you become a skeleton. Armed with only a sword and extremely fast speed, you must assist the Fatkid in taking down the skinny kids. Careful though, your sword does jack stuff for damage and you have half of the health skinny kids have.

To-Do List

Modification Help / Making a Skeleton Torso

So, me and my friend are struggling to make a skeleton playertype, using Bot_Skeleton as a base. We're trying to port over the ribcage.dts, but every time we try, we always end up with us being just a torso and only a torso. We don't know what we're doing wrong. If anybody would like to see the server.cs, please private message me, thanks.

Modification Help / Disabling Item Dropping for Playertypes

So, small question here.
How can I set it so players with a certain playertype cannot drop their items? I'm trying to make it so you can't give other people weapons in my game so they're forced to have whatever they pick up or start with.

Drama / Crown and Jailbreak's Community

Literally, just from today's experience, I can't stress how much the community is just rotting. The reason I didn't want to be a mod anymore was solely because of the community. People kept targeting me for seemingly no reason. And I realized I couldn't take anymore of it and that the community was really  just a bunch of jerks making racial slurs and such. After all, I was just done with it.

With the cherry on top, the mods didn't seem to care about it, and neither did Crown. Crown did not care that his mod team wasn't actually enforcing the "don't be a richard" rule. Additionally, Crown didn't care what I think and thought I was literally mad because my moderator application was denied, but I didn't even want my mod role anymore.

It's just bad.
I don't care if you don't support this, I just want to get my word out.
It's not a server I'd really recommend if you're sensitive.

Modification Help / Developing Fatkid as a Gamemode

For a while now, I've been planning to reboot Fatkid, but I've gotten a new computer and I don't have the Fatkid script to run, and I have the hassle of having to delete my config folder and reinstall it just to get my server back to normal.
I want help remaking it as a gamemode so I have less troubles with it. Also, I'd ask Anthonyrules144 to do it, but he's unfortunately busy with other projects. If you'd like to volunteer to get it up and runnnig again, please PM me. Thanks in advance.

Does anybody know how to port forward on an ASUS router specifically for Blockland? I've been looking up tutorials, but I seem to be doing something wrong. Could somebody tell me how to do it step by step? Thanks in advance.

Blockland Hurt and Heal!

In Hurt & Heal, the objective is to try and eliminate various users, and heal your favorites! The last remaining user will win. If the forum game is sucessful, do expect more Hurt and Heal games. The game will also be  updated to show who's been hurt and who's been healed.

Rules

• You can only vote every 2 hours.

• The maximum amount of health a character can have is 30.

• You only have 2 points per vote. To see examples, look at Voting.

Modification Help / Making an appearance edit playertype?

I tried making an appearance edit of the m.dts for a playermodel, but I can't seem to get it to work in-game, it never shows. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but can somebody tell me what I need to do normally just to make an appearance edit playertype?

Help / Stange Chat Glitch

Occasionally, Blockland will give me a weird glitch where I'm not able to exit chat. Esc will only open up the menu and I can't open Blockland Glass. The W key will only type in chat, A somehow acts as the left arrow key, D is like a reverse backspace where it erases letters from the front of the message, S is the same as W, Enter does nothing, and it's just strange overall. I have not found a fix for this at all and it gets on my nerves, especially when playing something like Super Creeper or Despair Fever.

Does anybody else get this and is there a way to fix it?
