Help / Weapon spawns break on loading a save.

If I load a save which has weapon spawns, the weapons will be there but won't be able to be picked up unless the brick is wrenched again.  Any idea how to fix this?  I really don't want to have to wrench every weapon spawn every time I host.

Suggestions & Requests / A smoking mod.

I need a mod which adds in cigarettes which the player can smoke in order to heal themselves.  (10 HP per cigarette)

It'd be rad if someone could model a cigarette case which holds 6 cigarettes and animate the player grabbing one and smoking it.  I would like for the smoking animation to last approx. 3 seconds before the player simply discards the cigarette, and make the player unable to swap weapons/items during this animation.

I would like the cigarette case to look like this.

Trenchfight is a project that I'm currently working on.  It is set during World War 1, around 1916 - 1917.  The end goal of this project is to make a battlefield that really seems like it's a battlefield, I'm accomplishing this by using events to mimic shelling and global music bricks to have constant ambient noises from explosions to gunshots.  I plan to host this as a combat-oriented roleplay with a few simple rules:

1. You are a human, act like it. [You will naturally fear for your life, being in the middle of no man's land is terrifying]
2. No love on the battlefield. [Simply put, do not make peace with the enemy.]
3. You cannot be a female soldier. [Unless of course you want to be trapped in a room manufacturing shells for hours on end, on your own.]

This is mostly a collaborative project, people can hop on and build whatever to assist me with making this possible.  I host this under the name "dev stuff," so if you see that on serverlist, feel free to hop on and help out.

  • Finish terrain and trenches. (~1% done)
  • Add detail to the terrain and trenches. (>1% done)
  • Add in proper towns and cities.*
  • Add in a proper atmosphere. (~78% done)
  • Add body armor and helmets for defense/customization. (~2% done)*
  • Add in weapons from the time period. (7% done)*
  • Add in cigarettes and alcohol for cosmetic or minor buff purposes. (0% done)*

Help / How to prevent public saving on builds

How would I prevent people from coming onto my server and saving my builds while I’m hosting?  I know there was an option to make saving admin only or something but I can’t seem to find it.

General Discussion / I'm making a gamemode.

Hi there, I'm making a gamemode.  

I'm unsure what to call it, but for now I'll just call it Slasher. wow polska you're so loving original

The basic idea of it is, players are thrown into a map.  One will be randomly selected to become the slasher and their goal is to kill the victims.  The rest of the players will be known as victims, their only goal is to survive.  

As of now, the only way for victims to win is to become the last victim alive, but I and a handful of other people are planning to make it so victims must survive for X amount of minutes and a random exit placed in the map will open which they must reach to win.

We're running on the map SPO Castle currently (This isn't made by me or anyone else who is currently working on the project, but we've modified it to fit the gamemode).  If you want to submit a map that we could add to a planned map rotation system, that'd be great.

I'll be hosting a test server from time to time where I'll work on the gamemode with the help of others.  If you would like to help, please just show up on the server if you see it.  It'll most likely be called "Polska's Test" or something like that.
Alternatively if you can't seem to catch the server when its online, you can add me on Steam (PM me for the link) and I can try to work out what time I'll host so that you could help.

Well Polska, why should I care?
Whether you want to care or not depends on you.  I put this up to see if people like the idea and to see if anyone would like to assist me in creating this gamemode.
Why should I help?
You don't have to, I'm just asking for volunteers really.  Any help is appreciated.

- Different slashers (aka different weapons and looks)
- Sprinting
- Map rotation?
- Add a police team (revives one player a gives them a gun with a little bit of ammo?)
