Off Topic / I got the Moderna vaccine, AMA

Aloha! I work part time in a school, so I have been extremely fortunate to have received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. If anyone has questions about the process or side effects or anything, I'd love to share! What are you curious about?


I apologize in advance if this post comes off as bragging, I really am not trying to do that. I just know that sometimes a new vaccine can feel scary and I'd like to talk about it.

Off Topic / Road Rage

Tonight someone going down a hill got angry about my headlights being too bright. I was still at the top of the hill, so he was in the bright part of my lights. I drive an SUV and he was in a sports car, so my headlights are also up higher. He slammed on his brakes, then started driving really slowly until I passed, at which point he began chasing me for the next 3 miles while flashing his lights until he got bored since I wasn't reacting much. He did flip me the bird though, so I guess I'm number one. I still have a lot of anxiety from the situation. It sounds less scary than it was in person. I probably should have called the cops but I was too focused on not stopping.


Any one else have road rage stories?

What's your favorite simple, easy-to-make recipe?


I like to make a really basic chicken salad:


Get a can of chunked chicken breast, drain it, mix it up really well in a bowl with some mayo, and top it onto ritz crackers. That's literally it. Ready in 2 or 3 minutes and always good. :)

Games / Collecting Consoles

Has anyone started a console collection? I would like to build this collection:

• C64
• SNES
• N64
• GameCube
• Wii (Have)
• Switch
• XBOX
• XBOX 360 (Have)
• XBOX One X

One of my goals is to play through all of the Halo games on (close to) their original consoles. I feel sad that I used to have so many of these consoles and my family has just thrown them away over the years because we got "better" consoles. Now I wish I had them all back. 


I also have an OUYA which never really went anywhere and I couldn't get any use out of it trying to turn it into a Raspberry Pi.

Hello! Tell me about your weekend!

Personally, I walked in a Pride parade, made spaghetti that I didn't overcook for once, and just generally slept a lot. Good weekend :)

I couldn't find a welcome thread around here, so this is my first post. I'm just interested in hearing about how everyone's lives are going~
