Drama / i lost my girlfriend

to not give away too much personal information, at one point doctors thought i might be terminal. i had an operation and she was there with me before and the last thing i heard from her was i love you. she said if there ever came a point when those were the last words she could say to me, she would say i love you

last night out of the blue she texts me "they're everywhere" and then "i love you" and then nothing. i think she relapsed into cutting on herself after two years clean and that means it was really bad. she expected she was going to die if she said i love you. i don't know what to do or say or how to handle this. i'm sorry off topic is my favorite blog

to preface this, I have stuffty impulse control, so that's why i have to ask you guys about stuff because my decisions suck ass

So, my neighbor is a huge douchebag. He's this scrawny ass, 4'9, 80 pound guy, 16 years old, on the crew team for his prep school, so naturally he thinks he's some hot stuff. Recently he's been aggressively trying to take my girlfriend. Like expressing verbal desires for us to break up so he can have her when he thinks I can't hear. Well, long story short, we're getting engaged soon and I know she would never leave me, but I want this little stuff to back the forget off. I've already asked him nicely and he's threatened to fight me multiple times.

Now, this is literally THE ONLY OPTION I see for making him calm his stuff and stop. Normally, if he were remotely close to my size, I'd take him up on his offer. But I don't want to get in any trouble for hurting him because he's too smart to instigate. I'm also 6'2 and 195 pounds, fairly strong and a hockey player to boot. It would look stuffty because A, I'd be the one instigating because he would never throw first, and B, I'd probably hurt him even just grappling because he's a loving twig.

I went to his parents and explained the situation to them and that he was harassing my girlfriend (sent her richard pics even) and that I wished for him to stop. His dad couldn't give fewer stuffs, and said something like "if he gets her that means he's better than you" and it took all of my self restraint to not rip his head off. His mother was the same way. I don't know what to do because he technically didn't do anything wrong and his parents don't care about it and are almost proud of him for it. What should I do? My options are running out at this point and my impulse to smash his face on the curb when I see him walking home from the bus is getting harder to control

Games / Anyone here play NHL 14? (BL GM connected?)

Just wondering if anyone here plays/is planning on getting NHL 14. It's a huge improvement over 13, totally worth it in my opinion, and runs smooth as butter for me. I play on 360, if anyone wants to add me/play, my gamertag is BillsDeadNGone, I'm not too good but I'll play anyone in normal or HUT. PS my HUT players suck



but if you guys like hockey, definitely look at picking this up, miles better than 13, new collision engine for players so the hits don't suck, new puck physics, less glitch goals, and Marty is on the cover. Yeah get it now if you like hockey.

PS if we get three more people besides myself we could make a GM connected, like an online league all for ourselves, just saying. I don't really care if they're forumers or not.

Games / Hey guys, help me fix my fallout 3 GOTY edition

so I've tried every goddamn fix in the book and my fallout 3 goty still refuses to launch. after I click play on the launcher, a little window pops up, in the corner, immediately turns grey and "fallout3.exe has stopped working" comes up. I disabled the into movie, I changed bUseThreadedAI to 1 and limited the game to two cores and installed that dll stuff that supposedly makes it work, but it still refuses to work. I think it doesn't like my video card, but I'm not sure.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
RAM: 6 gb
Processor: AMD Phenom II x4
Video card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870

I think that's all you need to know, the copy of my game is from steam btw. I'm not sure what to do now, considering it's pissing me off and I was really excited to play it again after getting it from the sale. Does anyone know any possible way on earth to get this to work?

Off Topic / Thoughts on getting engaged younger?

I've been with this girl for what will have been three years this winter, and we've been through a whole lot together, and we're planning on getting engaged in the winter. We've been through the worst of the worst and come out stronger from it, and we can't see ourselves ever breaking up, and we'd like to be engaged now, despite the fact it's a little early, and then be married later on, when we're more financially stable. She's taken such good care of me this whole time, and I love her with all my heart, and she loves me the same. I'm also fulfilling an obligation to my great aunt in doing so, on her deathbed a few years ago, she took off her wedding ring and told me to give it to the right girl, and after talking about it with my girlfriend extensively, we think this is it. Is there any real disadvantage of this? What are your thoughts, guys? Is it too early? We'll both be legal adults when it happens, BTW.

I know there are a few other Devils fans on these forums, well we're forgeted unless we sign Damien Brunner, this sucks and we don't even get our first round pick back, he left 12 years on his contract and $77 MILLION. I know he wanted to be in Russia but he should've finished out his contract, he committed to the contract.

Off Topic / I've been slowly going insane and I need help

Please don't come into this topic to accuse me of being an attention whore or a liar, thank you gentlemen.

I don't know if this is the proper place to post this, but I've realized I've been slowly descending into insanity for as long as I can remember, and I need help really bad. It started when I was really young, and I'd have nightmares of people with long fingers and big dogs. I got really scared all the time and wouldn't want to ever leave my bed because they were hiding under there waiting to get me, and I would see them moving around in the darkness, crawling to my bedside, speaking in something I can only describe as similar to parseltongue from Harry Potter but I hadn't seen the movies then so I didn't know what that was

fast forward to a few years ago and I started hearing voices. they promised to tell me all the secrets there were to know. I fought them every single day. I became really depressed because it took so much effort to fight them. one day I decided to die. it didn't work.

I wake up most nights now thinking I'm covered in spiders and they feel real and I see them but then they go back into my pores and I'm full of them inside. I don't know what to do about them. I want to die a lot. it never works. I won't try again, it's too disappointing

How can I get help? I need help. therapy does nothing and medicine makes it worse

 If anyone's been following the cover vote for NHL 14, we're down to four candidates from sixteen; from the New Jersey Devils, Martin Brodeur is running against Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings, and John Tavares of the New York Islanders against Sergei Bobrovsky of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Point is, Marty Brodeur is one of the best goaltenders the NHL has ever seen. He's retiring very soon, and it's been forever since a goaltender has made the cover of an NHL game, and nobody's more worthy of being on that cover than Marty Brodeur.
