Quote
A woman whose unborn baby was killed in a 2018 Pleasant Grove shooting has now been indicted in the death.

Marshae Jones, a 27-year-old Birmingham woman, was indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury on a manslaughter charge. She was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Though Jones didn’t fire the shots that killed her unborn baby girl, authorities say she initiated the dispute that led to the gunfire. Police initially charged 23-year-old Ebony Jemison with manslaughter, but the charge against Jemison was dismissed after the grand jury failed to indict him.

I live super far away from my home town and in a big city that doesn't speak my native language. I haven't been home for about 5 months now and I'm starting to feel it

anyone deal with home sickness? how do you do it besides listening to country roads on repeat?

The first patient to receive the transplant was a 35-year-old man who suffered hearing loss as a result of a car accident that damaged his inner ear, according to a press release by the South African Government. The operation was performed by Professor Mashudu Tshifularo and his team from the University of Pretoria (UP) Faculty of Health at the Steve Biko Academic hospital in Pretoria on March 13. Using 3D technology, he was able to recreate the bones—the hammer, anvil, stirrup, and the ossicles that make up the inner ear, thus replacing the damaged ones.

Off Topic / mars landing at 2PM EST - NASA Insight

At 2PM EST NASA's Insight probe will try to land on mars and then drill into the surface.

Quote
If all goes according to plan, InSight will hurtle through the top of the thin Martian atmosphere at 19,310 kilometres per hour. Slowed by friction, deployment of a giant parachute and retro rockets, InSight will descend 124 kilometres through pink Martian skies to the surface in 6-1/2 minutes, traveling a mere 8 kilometres per hour by the time it lands.
