Gallery / One Shot Scenes
« on: June 13, 2016, 05:08:01 PM »
I've been working on small builds that serve the purpose of getting a very specific shot. It's been a lot of fun working on this and I figured I would debut my first finished piece on here. I might continue to do different small builds depending on your feedback. Hope you enjoy!

Feel free to rate x/10. I would love to hear any criticism and tips for how to improve what I've got. This is also the first time I've tried to color correct an image and add post processing to enhance the feel. Being colorblind doesn't really help that. Anyhow, peace out!

Suggestions & Requests / Nature pastel color set
« on: June 11, 2016, 07:39:08 PM »
Could someone create or link a color set that focuses on nature colors (plenty of blues, greens, browns, and tans). I'm looking for more of a pastel feel to emphasize on the structures themselves rather than the colors sticking out. Thanks ahead for any help!

General Discussion / Converting a .obj to a .bls
« on: April 09, 2016, 01:08:13 PM »
I have recently been working with 3rd party software to create meshes and then voxelize the 3D meshes so they look like legos, i'm wondering if it is possible to convert the lego mesh .obj file into a .bls so it is compatible with Blockland. Thanks.

Gallery / WIP Terrain
« on: February 21, 2016, 01:48:39 AM »
I decided to try and get back into large projects today and so I am working on terrain. This represents a slice of what is to be offered:

UPDATE: 2/22/16
Finished working on the opposite side of the river. I am getting more and more attached to the idea of completing this as a map.
Below I have a quick look at the build so far with and without water.

Disregard the grey boxes pls.

The current work is still in progress, detailed trees and better colours will come later. For the time being I am uploading pictures to keep track of progress throughout my experience.
Enjoy! (Feel free to rate x/10 and give criticism)

P.S. I am looking to name whatever this terrain will become. Please leave ideas for names you guys think it should be called. Ty!

General Discussion / Proof that far fetched add-ons are not all stupid
« on: January 16, 2014, 02:03:58 PM »
So way back in 2011, there was this post:
http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=153791.0
It had very mixed reviews but there was a pretty clear message by most stating it wasn't going to happen.

A year later we get this:
http://forum.returntoblockland.com/dlm/viewFile.php?id=4103
Which is basically what was being asked for in the first forum post and has become one of the most popular brick-packs to date.

That is all i wanted to say

Gallery / Island of miniature proportion
« on: May 26, 2013, 03:11:41 PM »

Hello ladies and gentlemen, it's been a while since the last time I posted a build on the forums and I wanted to make sure I did a good job. What I have to present to you all today is a miniature island that can be used for things like mini empires. I was inspired to do this based on a previous topic by Cuddles le Bear. Many suggestions were to implement terrain into their works and so I wanted to make a whole island that both looks nice and is functional. The product I have as of now consists of 1427 bricks, which 95% of it is default. The only non-default bricks were the tree stumps. It took about 3 hours total to complete the island. So without further waiting I present the pictures.

Please rate x/10 and leave constructive criticism. Also, post pictures of your own islands you've made so people can recognize your building skills.

Gallery / Custom Trees
« on: March 09, 2013, 09:56:39 AM »
Hi guys, i've started a new secret project and i have run into a major problem. I can't build trees at all, however, i recall a post from a fairly long time ago where a guy built a bunch of trees using bricks and posted a save. I was hoping to use his ideas as inspiration and of course id give him credit. If anyone can help me with a link that would be a great deal of help. Thanks again guys.

« on: July 27, 2011, 01:33:22 PM »

So now that I've gone through everyone thing, ON TO THE PICS

This is a view from the front of my build. ^

Another view from the front, sorry about me being in the pic. ^

A view of the side, with the grill, table, smaller table, Exd......^

My grill bursting into flames. ^

Now lets head inside. ^

This is the kitchen. ^

A very tiny bedroom. ^

Bathroom. ^

Overview of the house. ^

Gallery / Weapon Shop
« on: July 22, 2011, 12:44:27 AM »
Yet another shop, But hopefully better than the others.

So a few days ago i saw a gun shop, and i decided to post my own. This i built about a week ago.
On to the pictures...

This is a view from the front.

Let's take a look inside shall we???

This is the main part.

Here are some weapons in their showcases.

This is where the customer orders what weapon they wish to have, ( I stand on the other side).

This door leads to the employee area.

Let's go on inside and check it out.

This is where the magic happens.

This is the trashcan, (where I get rid of any items i don't need).

Pressing this yellow button spawns the customers weapon over their head, falling into their inventory.

This is where I stand to take the customers order.

Birds eye view.

That's about it, I don't know why I chose brown scale for the walls. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it, feel free to rate x/10.
(please leave comments relative to the topic).

Mini Islands

So I've had these two islands done for about 2 months now, didn't know what to do with them, so i decided to post on the forums. They are the best islands i've created in BL so far, I tried to fit detail into every part of these to make them look somewhat more realistic. Now onto the pictures i say.

Island #1

This is the first of the two islands. ^

Here are the huts that people live in. ^

A forest with a mountain. ^

And a pond :D. ^

Island #2

The second of the two islands. ^

As you can see the buildings are more spread out on this island. ^

An even bigger forest with two mountains. ^

And another pond :D. ^

Overview. ^

So thats it for now,( sorry if theres poor picture quality) i won't say they are great or bad, the public decides that part. If you like it ask for more or save, if not, well, then you don't like it.

Bai now :3

« on: February 27, 2011, 12:11:46 PM »
i have recently decided to apply for a clan and Meteor looked like the best to me. So here i decided to create an Italian restaurant, took me several days to complete and I'm satisfied with my work. It's the public that decides wether it's good though. Without further ado, i give you my restaurant.

Here is an outside view of my restaurant ^ i know it may not look the best but i put a lot of work into the interior.

Here is the outside waiting area ^.

This is where you make your reservation ^.

A view of the tables and chairs ^, in the back you can see the bar.

This is a private room for special people only ^.

A picture of the bar ^, not much here except the brick oven.

This is the kitchen ^, also not much here.

Men and women's bathroom ^.

I hope you liked this and if you see anything that isn't right, I'm open to constructive comments.
Warning: There is a bit of overuse of brown scale.

A special thanks to Hazmat for his colorset.

Gallery / Hotdog
« on: February 22, 2011, 12:24:02 AM »
I was on a family Rp and my friend tried to make a hotdog but it looked crappy so i made one on a larger scale which looks much better. So without further ado here it is...

I let everyone sit on it.....

Builders:

Humculies, made 98%

Hazmat, made 2%.

Warning: Hot dog is not actually edible but is made up of pieces of plastic. Digesting so may cause extreme behavior, and should stay clear of anyone.
