Help / Blockland consistently hangs when I refocus the window

I'm not 100% sure on why this happens. It's been happening since about two or three months after I built my computer. Essentially, as the title states, whenever Blockland gains focus after using another app, the game hangs for 5-10 seconds, during which time, pressing more than about 3 or 4 keys will crash the game.

After blockland's done hanging, the message "Window reactivating.." is displayed, between four and 16 times.


This happens on both steam and non-steam version with no add-ons enabled.

This issue definitely has been hindering gameplay. I didn't mind much before since I didn't alt tab often, however now that I'm working on a mod it's definitely getting in the way.

7/14/13 - Rave project announced!


About
LaTeX is an all-round clan. I'm hoping to make a clan that has good builders, eventers, scripters, and the like. Often we'll be working on different clan projects, which might include anything from a scenic cave build, to a fast paced shooter map, to an incredibly functional computer. We do it all.

There are three leaders of this clan, each specializing in one of our clan's major fields. They will be introduced in the next section.

I just finished highschool forever on monday, and graduation is tomorrow. Finally done with all the boring classrooms forever. I just got off the phone with my financial advisor at DeVry, and she just gave me the best news ever, that I'm done with paperwork and have all the prerequisites for attending college. I'm now an enrolled student at DeVry University, and I start July 7th for the summer term at the Pittsburgh campus. My major is computer information systems, minor is Game Engine Development. CIS is a 2 year degree, so I'll be 18 turning 19 when I graduate college.

All the years of suffering at school are finally over. I can actually start doing things my way now. I can't wait to get to college. But, now my priorities shift to earning $900 before then so I can build a new computer rig for college.

Modification Help / Questions about Environment Day Time Offset and the FRACTION variable [SOLVED]

Okay, so. I need to be able to set the FRACTION* variable in the daycycle. However, after searching for a while, I can't seem to find the variable name of that variable, or a function to change it.

I've decided to go with the Day Time Offset. And, I've found that I can modify it using
serverCmdEnvGui_SetVar(%client*, DayOffset, Value);

The issue is that I need to set the FRACTION variable to 0.25, and using the Day Time Offset doesn't seem to do it accurately.

Would somebody tell me either:
A) How to directly modify the FRACTION variable.
B) How the Day Time Offset works.

* FRACTION - The FRACTION variable is the time of day, ranging from 0.0 to 1.0
* %client - A client object whose isAdmin variable is equal to 1. In order to simulate this, I'm using an AiConnection with the variable isAdmin set to 1.

Well, sad man, You're saved!! Just download this nifty little fix and you'll be on your way to having the epic manual that we know and love!

It seems that that old fix got broken as of v21. So I finally got off my lazy ass and made you guys yet another fix for the VCE manual. This one's better, anyway. The old one actually replaced Event_Variables, with a few updated lines of code. This one doesn't touch it.

There's not much to say, besides that this add-on will fix your VCE manual when you install it, no dragging random text files necessary. So uh, on to download links:

Help / Can't connect to LAN game

Ok, so. I need to film something from a different point of view, and so I started a LAN game up. I have two blockland keys, so I started another instance of blockland on the other key. I then tried to join the LAN game, but on the host instance, I get the message: "Blockhead has left the game". I checked the console, and saw:
