General Discussion / Server Trackers?

I have seen these posts where the people have these things that tell you when a server is up and running. What are those and where can I get one?

Vehicle Street Skateboard-
This would be so cool! Like you jump and it would Ollie, and you can keybind keys to be tricks (like if you Ollie and press Q you do a kickflip) Can someone please do the skateboard vehicle at least?

Skatepark Bricks-
Like it would have like a short rail, med rail, QP, HP, and other skate park stuff. and if you Ollie ontop of a rail you would slide along it and it would play like a grinding sound.

Skate Trick Events
These events would do suff like force you to Ollie, turn regular bricks to rails, Speed boosters, and stuff like that

Please make these! I'm SURE I'm not the only one who wants this stuff either!

Mapping Help / Disapearing Intioriors?

Ok, so I'll make a map, I'll put some intiorior instances and static shapes into it, and then when I try to open the map from the 'Start Game' Menu, It opens with no intioriors or static shapes! What's going on? How do I fix? Please help me!

Help / I think my console is messed WAY up!!

I was playing today when I got off, downloaded some add-ons and then when I got back on, It said I still had demo (I did buy it!) and that I no longer had RTB. What's going on? I think it may have something to do with my console so here that is in case it helps.

HOW TO MAKE MAPS
for all the noobs who can't figure it out themselves

You need the bought version of Blockland for this. Download the mission editor. Now right click on your blockland shortcut. Click 'Properties' from the menu that pops up. In the box that pops up it should say something like 'Target' with this after it:
"C:\Program Files\Blockland\Blockland.exe"
Change it to look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Blockland\Blockland.exe" -mod editor
Now open your blockland. If it doesnt work you messed up. Now go to any map and press F8 and then F11. Now your in the mission editor. Mess around with it for a while. When you get the hang of it you might make a map decent enough to upload. You could try and make some models in Torque, but only once you get the hang of stuff. If you want to save your map, Press F3 (Or it might be F4) and choose the option that's something like Mission-MissionInfo. From here you can change the map's name and stuff. Now at the top chose File and Save Mission As. Save it to your add-ons folder. Go to your add-ons folder in a folder explorer of some kind. Put the two new files into a zipped folder that you made. Call the zip something like Map_SlateEdits.zip or Map_Mountains.zip but the Map_ and .zip have to be there or it won't work. So that is how you make maps. Have fun.

Help / How to forward ports on a windows XP?

I've got a windows XP and My port forwarding page looks NOTHING like the one in the tutorial and I can't find a single website that helps! (Not even portforward.com!!!!) PLEASE HELP ME! Everythime I try to host a server it no one comes and it shows up on the list as dead. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!

Suggestions & Requests / Prison RPG Stuff

Okay, I'm building a prison RPG and I have some ideas. Here they are:

Weapons/Tools:
  • Tazer: A gun that when it shoots someone they can't move for a certain amount of time
  • Weapon Remover Ray: Removes All Weapons From People Hit with it
  • Radar-Secret Locator: Shoots a beam that make bricks translucent for a short amount of time
  • Radar- Player Tracker: Allows a player to watch other players

Events:
  • Cammera Events: Puts a player's cammera at a brick
  • Metal Detector: In the 'OnPlayerTouch' output. Shows a player what weapons and tools a player has

If you make them please post them for me and give me the link, if they are allready out, please give me the link.

My third made map, my first one that's good enough to upload.
It's RPG Island! After being stranded you are stuck on this island for good. Build a hut and some trees and make the best of being stuck forever. You also better hope that the active volcano doesn't erupt. Have fun.

I have some ideas for a doors pack and here they are:

Locker Door-
this door looks like a school locker. When you open it the lock spins and the door flys open. It's just the door. There is NO LOCKER BEHIND IT! It's just a door. It comes in 3x3 and 3x6
Dumpster Passage-
A giant dumpster that when open reveals a huge hole beneath it that you can dive into.
Secret Passage window- (I don't now if it can be done)
Its a window big enogh to be climbed through, but you can't see bricks on the other side of it.
Revolving Fireplace-
A large fireplace that when opened, a statue on top flops down and the fireplace does a 90 degree turn so a player can walk through it into a passage behind it.
Slidig Portrait-
A portrait that when opened falls down leaving nothing but the frame and a hole behind it. allowing access to the area behind the painting. (could come in different varriations with different pictures)

Bookcase Passage-
same as the fireplace one only its a book case.
Sliding Mirror-
same as the portrait only it's a mirror
Portkey-
like in the fourth Harry Potter. When opened the portkey (which looks like a boot on a base) disapears and the player falles into the hole below.
Attic Door-
It looks like the bottem of a brick but when activated falles down to reveal a stair case.

Modification Help / I can't apply my own textures PLZ HELP!

I save my tectures to the right file and they show up on the game but when I try to press the APPLY button in the game a message shows up telling me that there's been an error and blockland must close. What's wrong and how do I fix it?
