Vault Break

The Gamemode where you break into a vault

Title: might change later

Description:
This will be my first gamemode and I want it to look good! This gamemode will consist of two teams, Guards and The Crooks. The guards will position themselves around the map near the Vault in order to stop the crooks from hacking in! The rules will most likely change within the time I finish but we will see what is up for now below!

The rules:
Right now nothing much but here is what I got.

• The guards will respawn every 15 secounds
• The crooks each have 1 or 2 lives (Suggest me 1 or 2)
• There will be a 10 minute timer
• The guards are allowed inside the vault once the doors are open
• may be more

List of things:
[\,] The hacking system

[X] The map (believe it or not)
[X] The Gamemode (sticking to default for now)
[OPT] A Cooler Vault Brick
may be more

How can I help:

Make a good map

Hi everyone it has been a while and I have recently made an add-on that actually got to work somewhat properly in the game! The armatures in the model I am not sure if they were put right or not but rest assured it looks great in-game!

I made this little thing in about a day or two and I think it should be time to go over some things and look after for some improvements!

The Details:
Basic Little device. It is supposed to act kind of like the pushbroom only like a gun sort of. but, you know, like a fire extinguisher. I wonder why

What needs to improve:
-I want to make it change bricks with "Fire" emmiters to no emmiters. something like that...
-I need the glass in the gauge to be actually clear in the game "its brown atm"

**I NEED A BETTER server.cs FILE**
If someone can help me/make me a slick server.cs
(I just stuffly edited the pushbroom one in 5 mins for now)
-I need this to make a cool looking spray a fire extinguisher does, knomsayin'
-Sounds not made
*If someone can help me make it so that there is one can on the lever and one on the canister would be the best*

Oh my God, where do I begin. Ok so:
Server: Mew's Challenge

Although today seemed like another day, me and Mew got on about plagerism, etc. (sorry again, Mew)
But later, the ugliest, fattest kid you'd see on the block comes on...Anthonyrules144
So basically, hes a Super Admin and a little buddy of Mews. He seemed pretty cool, until you say the smallest thing... and...




so on, and so on. And this is everyday folks, not just me.


I finally got tired enough of that cigarette and warned Mew to unadmin him, as the smart thing to do. I am probably thinking Mew was thinking its just another issue I caused. But no, I wasn't trolling today, this is legit stuff and I hate it when people are continuously stupid.

You think I didn't try telling him what he had done, you know. smacking and flinging and muting. He even kicks me and bans me. This is what I call ABUSE. Mew: nahh its just Anthony, hes just kidding...

So I will leave these pictures up for you to see and tell me if I am wrong. Because through my eyes, I see nothing but an ugly kid who thinks he is boss of the server.
I'll just cut to the chase,

I'll point out the obvious.
-He Flings/Smacks/Mutes/Kicks/Bans me etc.
-insists Mew that I did it (now I look at it like he is the baby and Mew is the mom and says it was me, the older brother, because I was angry at him.)
-The only way to respectively talk things through is to mute or ban me without hearing my side
-Oh and Mew basically just sits there and watches
















In conclusion: This idiot needs to be heard of and unadmined. Tell me what you think by commenting below.

I am figuring out the rest on my way but can someone explain to me the reduce render latency method for me? I don't feel like testing it out nor researching.

Just to clarify and explain to the others very quickly.

Help / Common Problems: Unjoinable Server

Unjoinable Server Hosting-Can be solved!

Description:
Having trouble with people joining your server?
Can't even join your server?
This can be solved with a 75% guaranteed series of steps

Before we start...
Things to be aware of/fixed:

1.[]-Is your Router/Internet working properly?

2.[]-Is your server showing up on your LAN or Internet

3.[]-Have you port forwarded your blockland to your router?

4.[]-Is your blockland going through your firewall?

5.[]-Is your port set to 28000 in "Start a Server"

Solutions:

1. Go to your bottom right of your screen. It should be a little computer or like mine, 5 Bars (like AT&T's or Adidas) Make sure it is connected to the one that works for you and working fine. (I don't see why I bothered putting this since it should be working)

2. Go to join a server, find your server and look under the Ping it should be under 200 to be a healthy server but if it is --- it is either glitched or not working. Keep in mind that sometimes if it is --- it can work but you should try to fix that because I am not even 50% sure how, probably a firewall or router problem. which comes to question 3.

3. Have you port forwarded yet...Sort of a dumb question but try looking in the "Search" tab or try the link below,

4. Blockland and firewall...Its a little unknown which one it is to enable since there is like 5 of them for me. So what you do is you go to your control panel and search "Firewall" it should pop up with a tab called "allow a program through your firewall" click it and change settings. Make it so that each "Blockland" is enables and is it to [\,] for public and private.

5. Very, very, easy to fix. Go to start a server and find the server prefs. in the Port thing type 28000 if it is not set to it already. Sometimes, rarely, if you try 28100 it can work but I would not recommend it. Stick to 2800and fix it from that.

Main Problem Description:

Now those where some common errors but the real problem for me was that I didn't do the Port forwarding right. I tried doing it myself and worked until today. I will not set a picture because I am not sure if it safe enough to give it away. Solution below.

Main Problem Solution:

1.Go to your router, which should be 192.168.(yours)
2.Go to the "Advanced Tab" and "Port Forwarding"
3.Local ID should be 192.168.(yours)
4.Start [28000] - (end port) [28100]
5.Protocol [Both] and Enabled [\,]

**NOTE**MAKE SURE, now this is what I did wrong, THAT YOU SET THE (yours) TO THE RIGHT ONE IT COULD BE 2 NUMBERS

What I did for the note is made 3 ports to 28000-28100 and one of them works. I will leave them and so far a ping has shown up in internet.


That is pretty much everything you need to know so if there is a problem/ mistake please comment below so I can fix.

Drama / Hankyje's Server

So today. I found myself in a happy mood at Hankje's awesome city rp server.

Until...His stupid admin Spectrum and overwhelmed Lugnut came.

(Foxtron is awesome) (other admins I did not face)

So I was killing everyone as a villain in my VTOL Rocket which didn't lag the server decently but apparently YOU CAN OVERUSE IT and he removed my spawn which costs 2500 dollars (which is a pain to get back).

Of course this happened to me about 5 times in 3 days.

I of course wanted my money back like a lot of other people would But of course Lub ignores me when I talked to him first and then spectron gets the funny trolling feeling to ban me.

I wanted to be unbanned so I asked politely to spectum since lub didn't have an IRC acc on, to unban me.

No, he kept talking to me to forget off and shut up or he will ban me longer.

I told foxtron later to try to unban me because I absolutely loved that server and worked a little hard on it. And said my ban was set to 5 DAYS!

I do not like this server and I think you shouldn't either due to the lack of responsible / fun admins.

Hello! I am a new add on maker! I have just made my own private add on but I am going to make this, this week!

As you can see I am too lazy right now to talk about it but I will post some pictures below. Comment / give me feedback on how it is. I wont work hard but I will try! Hope this will make it, not like that Dog AI i wanted to make.


Where do you add color on the meshes.
-Blender or -Milkshape  ?

My  gun in-game is at a different position, I will add a picture of the bug. Can anyone tell me what happened?

It pops up below me or behind me.
I tried rearanging the position in blender but I dont know where to go
I do have two bones for projectile and mountpoint parented to detail32

I think it has to do with rotations. Got any ideas?

Help / Loading Add-On Ingame?

I know it is possible and I want to know how.

In a normal hosting game and Dedicated game

How do you load an add-on from your folder because I am a poor scripter and all I could get was:

It said it was eval just the client thing didn't work I tired,
servercmd, commandtoserver, clientcmdtoserver, etc.

Modification Help / Dog Ai By Giome

Title: Dog AI

Description:
-A vehicle/bot
-Animation and script not made yet
-It's a golden retriever, well, supposed to
-The dog will be like one that was made earlier, i think you know it, where when it crouches it barks or whatever
-I am going to make the animation later but i need help modeling the head and/or edit everything if possible-I will hopefully make it actually have a sound to bark but anyways:

Help / Click = lag? o.O

THE PROBLEM: This might be weird and very rare. It might not even be from Blockland but the only program so far that lags when i click anywhere in game like at menu, IRC, etc.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Anyways, this is very strange. As i click anywhere. it seems to want to switch screens like if i click, it switches to the screen next to it.

EXAMLPLE: If another window is up and I click blockland, Blockland goes behind that screen.

CONCLUSION: If anyone can help me with this because none of my friends would, that would be great. Ill be looking this week until i lock.

Ive been looking and two posts with same problem.

What is wrong:

-on internet: Ping is ---
-on LAN: shows up and works fine
-people unable to join

*I am not sure where the problem occurs but it cant be internet, it has to be blockland
*It is also wierd because when i did internet, it had the server on both lan and internet


OVERALL

No one can join on internet while i can join on LAN but thats not right when i set up an internet it shows up in LAN.
Its anoying because many of my non-rtb friends cant communicate and i dont see them often.

Add-Ons / Flammable barrel (long lost add on)

Hey guys you all remember the Flammable barrel. I thought it would be a good idea to try to bring it back so i tried, and tried. I'm a bad scripter but anyways, lets get to the point. I actually managed to make it work. So here you go!



I DID NOT MAKE THIS!

I also tested this so it actually works, just take a gun or something, shoot it, and watch it explode!
Warning: Stay away from reg spawn! May keep on blowing up!

Add-Ons / Sniper crosshair

Ok listen i was looking through the crosshairs and i saw a cool, but not well made crosshair that someone made, i belive his name was nerdy, anyways here it is http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=103345.0 but now i made a new one that it centered and it is nice and round-ish, ok anyways here you go,
