General Discussion / Blockland Save Archive

Hey its me again. After being on blockland for so many years now and being active on off a lot, I've seen many amazing builds created by several people. I also know people who created builds like these and eventually lost them because they had to buy a new computer or they got a virus or something like that.

So with that intro out of the way I was thinking of creating a blockland saves archive, where I would collect all the amazing builds that have been made over the years, like Sylvanors cities, or the unfinshed projects of Furdles and I would make an archive of them. And then if anyone of these creators happened to lose their original copy of these builds for whatever reason there would be a backup in the proposed save archive.

Let me know what you think, personally I think it would be a wonderful idea to preserve some of those amazing builds that have surfaced all throughout blockland's history.

Gallery / Hangar A5

Hangar A5

So lately I have decided to start a rather large project by building an aircraft hangar based off of this Halo Reach Machinima on youtube. The hangar is showed from around 46:24 to 46:35.

I’ve started by building the hangar, it is nothing fancy and I know it could definitely use more detail in some spots. I am not building an exact replica of the base shown in this video only the hangar will show resemblance to the base. This build is still a major wip and I was looking for constructive criticism on what I could do to improve the hangar and what I could do to make the terrain on the outside look nice. I also want to build some rock structures in the water in front of the hangar and I want them to look somewhat like the ones you can see in the first incredibles movie when Dash is running on water. Here is a picture of that. I know that this is not the best picture but it's the best I could find for now.

Hey it's me again! I want to start a big project with multiple people helping, like the miniature USA, and I want it to be something big. The only problem is I don't know what I should build so if you have any suggestions on what to build that would be great. I want the build to be something everyone can enjoy but it doesn't have to be a mini game type thing

Because this is my first time doing this, my builds may not be super good, but I am doing this to improve my build skills.

This is the Titan Clan, the abbreviation for it will be the Prefix or Suffix [T].
We are a well rounded clan and anyone can join. My goal as the owner is to get people who script, model, TDM, build, and all the sorts, to be in the clan.

Ranks

   The clan will have a militaristic ranking system. The highest rank would be Founder and the lowest rank would be recruit. To rank up in the clan you will have to be in the clan for # Months. Here are all the ranks in order from highest ranking to lowest ranking:

General
Lieutenant General
Super Admin
Admin
Sergeant
Corpral
Master Private
Private
Recruit

Only the people who helped make the clan are founders. The rank of General is the highest a member can reach, each general has an assistant, the lieutenant general. The rank of general and lieutenant general is a high rank and I can’t a million generals running around, so there will only be 1 general and 1 lieutenant general at a time. They will then be the rank of generals for 3 months, then they are rotated out for the next generals that were selected. For a member to become general they must “team up” with another member(decide who is general and lieutenant general) and apply and the clan form. After they apply I will start a poll for the new general and lieutenant general 2 weeks before the time of the current generals is up, the clan members will then have to vote for who they want to be the next general.

Clan Projects

As a clan we will do large projects, what type of projects these will be will range greatly, hopefully If we get many members with different talents we can make custom addons and gamemodes for our project. When a project is done we will release it to the public in the gallery with any addons required to play on it(<this will mostly apply to stuff like TDMs, thats if I choose to release the TDMs)

Hey I have been trying to set my fourm profile picture and I select a pic from my default BL screenshot folder and then I click change profile but when I check to see if it has worked it hasnt. Can someone please help me with this.

Suggestions & Requests / Mini Empire Vehicle Brick Pack

    Hey so I saw this post by Ladios earlier this week, that is located Here, and I thought this was a novel idea. So I was wondering if we (what I really mean is a modder of some sort) could make a brick pack and a event pack to enhance the current mini empires game play.

    I know there is already the Mini Empires pack, (Here) which I found to be very nice but, I know some people who hate to build micro scale vehicles and try to make them look good. I was thinking that maybe someone could make a "Mini Empires Vehicle Brick Pack" which would consist of several types of naval units, air units, and land vehicle units, with different era styled vehicles. So if you were playing on a medieval Mini Empire server and you needed naval units you could use the vehicle brick pack which would have medieval themed boats, and it would also have medieval themed vehicle land units like trebuchets and battering rams. This would make the pack like the Mini Empires Pack, in where it has blockheads with space guns, axes, hammers, MGs, sniper rifles, etc.

   So I would really like to see this and have your feed back on this idea.

So I was thinking about different brick packs, because I have quite a few and I was wondering do I really need all these brick packs to make a good build. So I wanted to compose a list of brick packs that the community thinks are Essential or Nice to have(but not needed for a good build). I want you guys to post different brick packs below with their thread link, creator(s) and what. I will make a list of the brick packs (in their groups, according to you guys) with their author, and a link to the thread. I will start the list below.

*NOTE* Thanks for helping me set this up guys, but if someone could teach me how to make a hyper link that would be great, so I can link you guys to the thread with a smaller link that says thread instead of the whole address.

Games / Command&Conquer Red Alert 3 Tourney

  Please take the time to read this whole post it's not that long and if you want to join the Tourney you must have Command&Conquer Red Alert 3 not the expansion "Uprising" just regular Red Alert 3 thx.

Hey I was recently playing C&C RA3 online matches and I was thinking about starting a tourney.
It would start with 8 players so 4 matches of 2 players. The winners of the starting matches will then go on to face eachother, the winner from that would then go on to the finals and whoever wins the finals is the Winner.
I was thinking of doing this maybe once a month and it would be on weekends like on Saturday afternoons and on Friday evenings.
I need your feedback please tell me what you think and if you would like to do it, I will give a link to the tourney bracket and post it on here for you guys too see thanks.

Elite Combat Team is a number of Blockland players who specialize mainly in war and building (well most of us do). It was founded by Clone534 and Blockbud12

We do hire people for building and wars sometimes. The main clan servers are on my server or artyoms (ghillie in the mist) servers.
