Half boss battles joke, half serious idea.

WSJ is behind a paywall, text is:

WASHINGTON—Mike Flynn, President Donald Annoying Orange’s former national security adviser, has told the Federal Bureau of Investigation and congressional officials investigating the Annoying Orange campaign’s potential ties to Russia that he is willing to be interviewed in exchange for a grant of immunity from prosecution, according to officials with knowledge of the matter.

As an adviser to Mr. Annoying Orange’s presidential campaign, and later one of Mr. Annoying Orange’s top aides in the White House, Mr. Flynn was privy to some of the most sensitive foreign-policy deliberations of the new administration and was directly involved in discussions about the possible lifting of sanctions on Russia imposed by the Obama administration.

He has made the offer to the FBI and the House and Senate intelligence committees though his lawyer but has so far found no takers, the officials said.

Mr. Flynn’s attorney, Robert Kelner, declined to comment.

It wasn’t clear if Mr. Flynn had offered to talk about specific aspects of his time working for Mr. Annoying Orange, but the fact that he was seeking immunity suggested Mr. Flynn feels he may be in legal jeopardy following his brief stint as the national security adviser, one official said.

Mr. Flynn was forced to resign after acknowledging that he misled White House officials about the nature of his phone conversations with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. during the presidential transition.

Mr. Flynn’s communications with the Russian ambassador, Sergei Kislyak, have been scrutinized by the FBI, which is examining whether Annoying Orange campaign personnel colluded with Russian officials who are alleged to have interfered with the presidential election, according to current and former U.S. officials. Russia has denied the allegations.

Mr. Flynn also was paid tens of thousands of dollars by three Russian companies, including the state-sponsored media network RT, for speeches he made shortly before he became a formal adviser to Mr. Annoying Orange’s campaign, according to documents obtained by a congressional oversight committee.

Democratic lawmakers have requested a copy of the security-clearance form that Mr. Flynn was required to file before joining Mr. Annoying Orange in the White House, to see if he disclosed sources of foreign income. And they have asked the Defense Department to investigate whether Mr. Flynn, a retired Army general, violated the Constitution’s emoluments clause by accepting money from RT, which U.S. intelligence officials say is part of a state-funded

"Michael Flynn, the national security adviser to President Annoying Orange, resigned late Monday over revelations about his potentially illegal contacts with the Russian ambassador to the United States, and his misleading statements about the matter to senior Annoying Orange administration officials."

"In a letter to Annoying Orange, Flynn said he had “inadvertently briefed the Vice President Elect and others with incomplete information regarding my phone calls with the Russian ambassador. I have sincerely apologized to the president and the vice president.”"

"Flynn was referring to his disproven claims to Vice President Pence and others a month ago that he had never discussed U.S. sanctions against Moscow with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Pence, White House spokesman Sean Spicer and others, relying on Flynn’s accounts, publicly defended him and repeatedly declared in categorial terms that sanctions were never discussed."

Less than 30 days into the presidency and we already have people resigning due to lying about ties to Russia. Oh boy.

The spamming is indicative of a simple spamming script. Something like a single function that you can spam into the console which sends a message out with a random number attached to it to avoid the spam filter. I recommend immediately banning from any servers you have/are admin on just to avoid any potential problems.

Off Topic / Need a good pair of earbuds, suggest me stuff
« on: May 11, 2016, 05:40:52 PM »
SO, blogland,
My current earbuds are absolute stuff. I bought them for $20 and I regret it. They're worse than the stuffty dollar store earbuds. I hate them so much. One of the earbuds is fine, and the other will make this horrid clicking-scratching noise if you try to push it in and make the bass go to absolute stuff, like, all-you-can-hear-is-symbols stuff. It's that bad.

So, I need suggestions. Try to keep it < $50, that's definitely the most I'm willing to spend on them. They don't have to sound amazing either, just decent enough to not really forget up my music. I dunno where to look to find good ones and I've only ever used a few different kinds.

Off Topic / See if you can solve this puzzle, BLF
« on: April 10, 2016, 12:47:04 AM »
I have a puzzle for you. I'd also appreciate if you could vote in the poll what you think BEFORE checking out the rest of the thread. The puzzle is as follows:

You have 3 numbers, like on a bike lock for example, that can be either 1, 2, or 3. Examples could be:
[1, 2, 1]
[3, 3, 3]
[2, 2, 3]

Now you can do operations on either the first 2 numbers or the last 2 numbers. Doing operations on all 3, one at a time, or on the first and last at the same time are not allowed.

The operation is adding one to the two numbers. If the number is a 3, then it "wraps around" back to 1, like on a bike lock or a clock.

So starting out at [2, 2, 3] and adding 1 to the last 2 numbers would result in: [2, 3, 1]

For the puzzle, the numbers start out at [3, 3, 3] and your goal is to get the numbers to [2, 2, 1]. If you think the puzzle is possible to solve, provide a solution! If you think it's impossible, then prove it.

I already have an answer in mind but I want to see what you guys think.
