Off Topic / Lyrically complex raps?

I'm normally a metal/punk listener, but pretty recently I've been getting into rap, and I'm really enjoying the capacity for complexness, though few that I've listened to seem to capitalize on it.

To give you an indication of what I might be looking for:

So far I've been impressed with
-Eminem (obviously, everything about this dude is insane, his flow, his lyrics, everything)
-Earl Sweatshirt (Has some loving sick ass lines, not a huge fan on how some of his songs "sound" though, good flow, a lot of potential as well.)

I've also liked the sound of several artists
-Eminem (again, flow and production is top notch)
-Kanye West (Great production and flow, but lyrics are mediocre most of the time)
-Watsky (Flow is good most of the time, production is hit or miss, lyrics are mostly mediocre)
-Tyler, The Creator (Flow is great, production is good, lyrics range from good, to ok, and I like how introspective he can be)
Tech N9ne (Flow and lyrics are pretty good, production is hit or miss)

Off Topic / How I lost one of my best friends

All right, let me start off with that this happened a while ago, and is PROBABLY SLIGHTLY BIASED

A couple of weeks ago me and my best friend's girlfriend (we will call her Penelope  get on our bus, and we have a nice conversation about our gripes with feminism and etc. We get on the topic of rape, and we agree on everything. We talk about how it is horrible and how consent works. She actually was a little more extreme with her opinions, even going as far to say that if you are flirting with everyone you are kind of asking for it, but I figure she is exaggerating and respectfully disagree.
    
I say something about how it sucks that some people falsely accuse and how it sucks that being accused of rape will ruin people's life, even if they didn't ACTUALLY do it. She agrees with me, and she gets off the bus and goes into her house.

Fast forward to about a week later, someone I follow on twitter, who is also my best friend's gf's friend, posts something from misandry-mermaid (a sjw tumblr user) and while I agree with misandry-mermaid's post, I tell the person I'm following that misandry mermaid has done some scummy things.

NOW I WAS NOT DOING THIS TO START stuff. The person I was following always struck me as a generally good person, and in my experience, people do not want to be associated with horrible people.

She responds with "well you don't believe in rape so bye"

WHAT

I, thinking it is a misunderstanding say "where did I say that I didn't believe in rape lmao."
  
She responds with "Penelope told me that" Penelope tweets "Thank you!" to her.

I defend myself and Penelope texts me (she has my number because she was one of my best friends)

I would like to bring up that I never brought up that she was raped and never victim blamed her.

I also never said anything about victim blaming being a good thing.

Sorry, I just had to get this off of my chest, it happened a couple of weeks ago but its been bothering me ever since.

The bands playing are Mayday Parade, We the Kings, and The Resolute.

This entire controversy has caused a stuffstorm on reddit.

In an attempt to keep subreddits neutral to the conflict, many moderators have gone out of their way to delete posts regarding the incident. This has resulted in accusations of censorship and moderator bias from members of subreddits such as /r/PCGaming and /r/Games. The situation is ironic, in a way, as a miscommunication between a moderator of /r/PCGaming and a redditor resulted in a subreddit ban for the latter individual. The gist of it can be understood here.

A thread on the matter created in /r/gaming has become a comment graveyard, threads on NeoGAF have been locked, and 4chan threads (which were accused of having investigateed her and were in fact framed) have been deleted. NINJA: Comments have began piling up again and the auto mod has apparently stopped deleting posts as of last night. Disregard this.

Reddit global admins have refused to take action against any type of censorship and have taken a backseat in the matter, denying any requests to remove /r/gaming as a default subreddit or to purge moderators. One moderator in question, El Chupacupcake, is in direct contact with Quinn and was likely motivated in some way to censor posts. Proof.


On an unrelated matter, Quinn contacted the Internet Archive early this morning at approximately 6:35 and had any archived snapshots of gamesnosh thread chronicling the controversy promptly deleted, along with the thread itself. This isn't just the thread either. This is the entire loving website. Proof here.

Off Topic / Blockland Forums! Help me learn how to sing.

Recently, I have really been wanting to learn how to sing. I think about it constantly, and it would not be an exaggeration to say I am getting obsessed with the idea. The problem?

I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE TO START

By no clue, I mean nothing. As in, I need to learn the very basics, like how to sing through your diaphragm, how to hit notes, how to find my own style, etc.

I have no clue who else to turn to, as I don't frequent any music forums and none of my friends have the first clue on how to sing.

I am COMPLETELY open to practice. I am not looking for a quick "get a good voice, find out why Frank Sinatra hates him" scheme, so please me at least semi-serious (A hard feat, I know :P)

One more thing.
I, as a person, need clear instructions to start off (I should be fine afterwards) , so if anyone could help, that would be great.
