Gallery / Official Lego Builds

I realized when I was reminiscing about legos the other day that I was not a very creative person. Every time I try to create something in blockland, it turns out it was actually already a thing I made as a dumb kid and didn't realize it until I was done with it.

Then, I decided that I wanted to remake old castle sets with real legos, but I couldn't find all the pieces. So here we are: approximates of lego builds as closely as I could make them using Blockland. Brick per brick as in the instructions.







Some problems I had were with recreating the pre-fab pieces. Rock walls, staircases, battlements, etc. I tried my best but that is really I feel where I could improve. Also, obviously no rotating pieces.

General Discussion / Beginner's Guide

Hello, I am a new member here on the forums, and I recently started playing Blockland. I guess that means I'm a noob, newb, etc..

I understand that what makes this game fun is that you can jump right in and explore a little, but there is a lot of depth to this game as anyone can see, and I want to make the adjustment for new players easier.

I have searched for a while and have come up dry on the forum. Maybe there already is such a thing, a new player's guide, but I would like to add to or make my own separate guide for new players if that is at all possible.

New players might not be able to find easy answers to their questions about the game, which leads to many repeated topics in the forums, and flaming rants accompanying them. This is a bad thing. An assorted and complete as possible beginner's guide is an easy way to make all us new players into successful BL architects, and stop annoying the forum regulars. And actually contribute.


So here is what I suggest:
Post any tidbits of information you wish you knew when you started playing blockland.

Point out or link to any topics in the forums already that have such info if you feel like it.

Post pictures of some basic BL structures, and I'll use them to help make the guide

So there you have it, I'll compile this info; however, this can only be as successful as the people that contribute to it. Thanks in advance.
