The second question directly builds off the setup of the first so make sure you understand the basis of the question before answering this second part. This question will also run for 48 hours before voting closes and the results are revealed.

Here is the second question:

Your ideal lovebot, being at least remotely humanoid as per the requirements of the initial setup, has arms and legs. At the end of the arms are hands, at the end of the hands are fingers.
In short, the lovebot is capable of giving you a handjob.

I come to the remnants of this forum with a pair of immensely important philosophical questions. The second will be a follow-up to the same scenario as the first. The most important ask I have going into this is that you answer completely honestly. The questions will not have a gotcha, or be a trick. The scenario should be open enough that it shouldn't need clarification or "Am I allowed to?" questions. The first poll will run for 48 hours, at which point I will run the second question.

Here is the scenario:

Imagine the ideal lovebot. Production cost and technology are for the most part not an issue. It doesn't have to be commercially viable, and it can be as personalized to you as you'd like. It can be modular or static, have any number of desired features, and  resemble any person or character you desire. It can have GPT+ advanced AI that is indistinguishable from human, it could be silent, it could be anywhere in between.
There are two restrictions to this lovebot: It must be at least vaguely humanoid, with two arms and two legs. Second, it must be at some level distinguishable as a robot. It does not need to make mechanical whirring noises with every movement, or be plugged in at all times, but an average person should not be able to inspect the robot, have love with it, and walk away convinced that it was a genuine biological organism. Now keeping these restrictions in mind, decide on at least the general appearance and functionality of your own ideal lovebot.

Now, here is the first question:

You are given the opportunity to have love with this robot. No catch, no consequences. The setting is as private and furnished as you want it to be. You do not have to sign a contract or forfeit payment of any kind. There is not even an offer if you do not want there to be one; just a place, the robot, and all the time you want.

Off Topic / alright boys i got me a computer question

my current PC is old and loud and slow as balls so i've ordered a bunch of new parts. essentially i'll be keeping my current hard drive and graphic card, and replacing everything else. but here's the Big Problem: i'm using an AMD CPU/motherboard and switching to an Intel CPU/mobo.
from what i've read i need to reformat my hard drive, but that would involve deleting everything off of it including my OS. the whole reason i want to use my old hard drive is so i don't have to spend days reinstalling windows and all my games and stuff. but im also reading things that say maybe i don't have to?
the main reason i want to ask beforehand is that i'm going to be gutting my current PC to complete the new one, and if i just bluescreen on startup then i'm up stuff creek

Alright somehow a wave of productivity and motivation washed over me and I intend to ride this out as long as I possibly can.
And this time, we don't have stuffty 2-cent colored pencils that don't blend together at all; now, we have some motherloving Prismacolors.
This time I'm gonna be posting it all to multiple Discord channels (and maybe make a 642 tumblr? idk) so I can get the maximum amount of people yelling at me to keep it up. Also I want you motherforgeters to collaborate. This was never meant to be "Scout's art thread", it was supposed to be a community thing.

Let's make it happen.

Creativity / 642 DRAWINGS - Day 239: Root Beer

I am a terrible artist. To remedy this, I bought a book called 642 Things to Draw with the plan of drawing one randomly selected thing out of the book every day for the next ~2 years.

I don't have the determination to draw every day for 2 years.

The hope is that by making this topic I will bring down upon me the wrath of the forums if I abandon this goal of 642 drawings. Also, anyone who is interested can join me. Every week I'll be compiling the best drawings into an imgur album which will go into the OP.

I'll be using my phone to photograph and upload my pictures for a couple of days. Until then the OP looks like stuff and so (probably) do the images I upload.

Summer is here, I have a steady job, and college is on the horizon. I have a decent schedule and will work with it until something changes

Games / Steam Download issues *FIXED*

For a while now I have had lots of slowness with Steam downloads where they would run at ~5 Mbs per second and then drop to 0 for a period of time. Now every update I have is stuck at 100% and refuses to finish updating. Nothing I have tried has helped, and I have been waiting for 15 minute for Steam Support to activate my account, so I may as well post here while waiting.
No, no other downloads are affected by this
Yes, I have tried to run as admin and verify the local game files
yes, I have restarted Steam

During Chad Smith's Reddit AMA, Will Ferrell challenged Chad to a drum-off to prove who is the true Chad Smith, and his challenge was accepted. Now when over $300K is donated here, it's gonna happen.

I'm thinking Will's drumset is going to consist of nothing but different types of cowbell, what about anyone else?

Suggestions & Requests / Eventing Paintcan/Fillcan

The idea is simple: Right-click with the item out to add events/toggle painting mode, and spray away. T The fillcan would effect every brick in contact with another that has the same color, and the paintcan would act like the default paintcan.
This would make eventing lava ridiculously easy, along with adding events to bricks in a localized area (perhaps showing you what you've done with an additional toggleable effect/color). A version that also names bricks would be helpful too.
