Jivan dignitaries are being escorted to the spaceport to await further transport, but intel has been leaked about this operation and an AWOL officer and his hired pirates seek to collect on a huge intergalactic bounty.

Help / Crashing When Starting a Server

I start a server then crash about 3 seconds in.

Could someone check out mah console and see if I need to change something? I think the Day and Night Cycle is doing something weird.

Off Topic / P.O.D.'s New Album

So P.O.D's newest album came out and I love it. They have been silent for nearly a decade and they still haven't lost their kick ass ways.

While listening to their last song on the album;

I heard Sonny Sandoval drop the f-bomb. A lot. "So tell me who the forget is HE?"

I am a christian and I like christian bands such as P.O.D. But, I curse on occasion. The Bible tells us to not use the lord's name in vain, so I try not to say expressions that do so.

The Bible also tells us not to use vulgar language. This is where it gets blurred. Cussing is vulgar in this time and state, but that is relative, is it not?

So as long as your manner is not hostile or angry you are free to say these unpopular words. I think it is more of a problem of foolishness and wisdom. Foolishness will not condemn you nor will wisdom save you.

Please share your opinions on Sandoval's use of the word "forget" in a christian-themed song and band, as I am eager to make up my mind morally on this issue.

If have not heard of this band then you obviously have different tastes or you are missing out on something great.

Off Topic / Blockland and College?

Welp

I am to attend college soon and I am worried that my time in Blockland will suffer.

I want to keep a balance in all aspects; devotion to my faith, a healthy social life, a successful academic record, and a creative outlet, (Blockland and music).

People who have attended college or are in enrolled now. Have there been noticeable decreases in Blockland usage or a decrease in other aspects due to giving to much time to Blockland?

Suggestions & Requests / Minifigure Body Part Bricks

The other day I was lining bots into ranks, changing their appearance to resemble soldiers, and proceeded to bomb the eff out of them. This was a tragic decision as I crashed 30 seconds into the carnage.

I was thinking if the minifigure was a print brick the lag that is caused by having to many vehicle spawns would no longer be a problem.

For example:

- If I wanted to have an ancient tomb and have statues of the deceased's body guard to forever protect him in the afterlife I could just open up my brick inventory, select the minifigure brick, and place it all over the tomb.

- If I wanted to make a street that had just witnessed a zombie massacre I could place minifigure hand, feet, elbow, and head bricks on the freshly bloodied street.

- If I wanted to recreate The Battle of Bunker Hill I could line up row after row of soldiers who are ready to fight for their right party without any fear of lag until I near the build limit.

In my head I picture separate body parts that are print bricks, the avatar decals could be an option for the prints, that one could place on top of each other to resemble a snazzy blockhead.

Is this even possible to do? I have no experience in the dark arts of modeling or whatever.

This idea is a bit abstract so any search I have done as left me without any results. If this idea has been suggested I apologize profusely and ask to be given a link to this page.

Hey

This is my official application for the Argos Rho Expeditionary Star-fleet (ARES)

Sorry about starting another topic about the same build, but i thought the previous one would have made my application seem unorganized and messy.

Bhakti (Finally picked a name)
As before this is my personal spacecraft. It is not for combat purposes but does contain defensive systems. The main purpose of this ship is quick and efficient interstellar travel. It has only a capacity for two people, but has sufficient facilities to support those two comfortably.
Its biggest feature is the solar sails. I really liked the movie Treasure Planet as a kid and I have played as Minmatar in EVE, so I like trying to infuse those ideas. I am currently working on another ship that is made up of these elements.

The ship has a small entrance on the back of the ship that holds EVA suits and small cargo.
Above it is the bathroom with a decontamination shower to allow the ship to be disease and infection free.
Above that is the kitchen and dining room.
Above that is the living quarters and meditation room.
Finally, the roosterpit is at the very top.

The Guns
For the weapon setup I needed a low-powered, defensive system. So I built, what I call, a flak cannon and puncture laser.

Gallery / A Few Space Builds

Hey

I recently wanted to post my builds on the gallery, so here they are.

Rate, but please include why I got the score and what I can do to improve.

Keep in mind the first set of pictures was my first ship/space build ever.

1. The Umbra's Stiletto

A small stealth bomber that can drop troops and pick up. Has a large laser cannon that is used to flank enemy ships in large scale space combat. Is used mostly as a special missions transport and patrol mission scout.

2. My Personal Space Yacht (no name yet)

A versatile ship used to my own pleasure, (hookers, death stick smuggling, and of nyan cat hunting). Has two solar sails used is solar systems to cut back on energy use, (toggled on or off). Soon it will have two small AA like guns.
