Gallery / Hôtel de Ville de Montréal (WIP)

Montreal City Hall (French: Hôtel de Ville de Montréal) serves as the seat of the city's local government. Situated in Old Montreal, not far from the St. Lawrence river. The first rendition of the building was completed in 1878, but was damaged by fire in early 1922. The building was rebuilt, giving it a new, Beaux-Arts style roof which utilized copper rather then slate tiles for it's roofing material.

I decided to build this building after encountering it shortly after my winter semester of university ended. The back is yet to be constructed, as well as any sort of interior; as accuracy in this case is key, and there is no floor plan available online.

I notice that every year on the forums during Christmas, a lot of people need help with new things that they're unfamiliar with, as i don't really celebrate christmas much, I (and i hope some other people) will be happy to assist with any technical questions one might have. If there's something that I can't help you with (which may be likely) I hope that others will help you out. Please, just use this thread tomorrow, rather than flooding all of off topic with technical questions.

i would've allowed this dude to go through with it. i don't think he could handle the extreme pressure and sorrow that was upon him at the time and a short lifetime is much better than a lifetime of suffering especially since life doesn't really matter and we're all just thoughts inside a hunk of meat anyways

We’ve done it two times before, and we’re doing it again. For the third year in a row, this is New Years; 2016 edition. The server will be up on an unlimited playercount dedicated server on the 31st of December. More information + updates will be posted on the daily by Nal. Most of the server will be kept secret until closer to new years, so until then you can keep checking up on our topic. The server is already done, so now all we have to do is wait.   No help is needed for the server at this point, but if it is, we will be sure to announce it over the topic. Gameplay on the server will be kept interesting via the use of an in-depth boss system.  Multiple bosses are present, and will all be announced (hinted upon) at a later date. Players can get privacy on the server by going to a private room. Pictures of these rooms are provided, and are located on the third floor of the complex. Private rooms are free for any player to access, and are comfortable, mindfully made, and luxurious.

Got a music loop idea? If it’s requested enough, we might just put it into the server! Even though we already have around 200 loops done, there is always space for even more, if they suit the party well. A full download of the loops on multiple mirrors will be provided on the 30th. A download server will also be up during this time if you wish to download the server's files the normal way.      We tried to cut down on bloat this year, so that loading times will be even easier! No useless, bugged addons are in the server this year, and absolutely no unused bricks are present. The few weapons/items are created by Kobewarrior, Trogtor, and Gumbajohnny.

I didn't say all doctors are idiots, just the ones in this situation. Calm down.
I heard he got another a few days before his passing away?
Never had a vaccine because I don't really trust them or need them. My body has an immune system.

It's funny how almost everyone in the topic is dogging me and hating on me, yet I am empathizing for the person that passed away. It means that most people arn't even reading the stuff I type, they just see what other people say and start throwing out rude comments.

Maybe I was a tad angry when I wrote that but the point still stands. Instead of trying the CBD extracts first, they went straight to dangerous surgery. It was a pretty dumb decision on their part; if they actually even cared for this kids life.

You have all heard of Qi, Aoki as well. but this topic is also about everyone in the clan.

Qi has had a bad track record over the last few months, and now this is very prominent. the newest Qi topic has been locked with a link to this topic on the Qi forum. Qi is "petitioning" to "cut off ties" with the Blockland Forum. They say that it's because no matter what you try to do, people will try to "stir stuff" with the people in the clan. It's quite obvious what this actually means. Qi's users mostly consist of numerous scumbags, trolls, and attention whores. Many of the users in Qi have had drama topics on them time and time again. The topic, while it was still alive, had links again and again to thier forum, which IS breaking rule 9, but nothing has been removed, and nobody has been banned for it.

• Qi has contributed minimally to the blockland community, and what they have contributed has been laced with backdoors, and horrible administraton.
• Every user is here, and you can recognize a few from numberous drama topics.
• Almost every Qi user flaunts their status in this corrupted clan through their signatures.

Sorry if this topic is a bit badly written, i'm not used to writing dramas, and have only ever written one other one.

My personal opinion on Qi is that they shouldn't be attention whoring as to if they should leave the forums. They should leave. I'm not going to act apathetic towards this clan because in all honesty even seeing the topic title pissed me off when i saw it. They need to go. I know that I am tired of dealing with them, but if they look to be gone for good now, then good riddance.

So, a bunch of people decided to put up a bunch of posters and fliers of a real life purge supposedly occurring in Louisville tonight. needless to say, Louisville police are going to have a long night.

This is a live report of police dispatches in Louisville, crimes are being reported left and right, in the last few minutes there have been multiple shots fired, gangs of people wearing dark clothing holding guns, and suspicious parked vehicles. If anyone could find any live security feeds in Louisville of the streets that would be greatly appreciated.

This thread is a positive environment dedicated to discussion, diagnosis, and treatment of various mental disorders and disabilities.

A mental disorder, also called a mental illness or psychiatric disorder, is a mental or behavioral pattern or anomaly that causes either suffering or an impaired ability to function in ordinary life (disability), and which is not developmentally or socially normative. Mental disorders are generally defined by a combination of how a person feels, acts, thinks or perceives. This may be associated with particular regions or functions of the brain or rest of the nervous system, often in a social context. Mental disorder is one aspect of mental health. The scientific study of mental disorders is called psychopathology.

The causes of mental disorders are varied and in some cases unclear, and theories may incorporate findings from a range of fields. Services are based in psychiatric hospitals or in the community, and assessments are carried out by psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and clinical social workers, using various methods but often relying on observation and questioning. Clinical treatments are provided by various mental health professionals. Psychotherapy and psychiatric medication are two major treatment options, as are social interventions, peer support and self-help. In a minority of cases there might be involuntary detention or involuntary treatment, where legislation allows. Stigma and discrimination can add to the suffering and disability associated with mental disorders (or with being diagnosed or judged as having a mental disorder), leading to various social movements attempting to increase understanding and challenge social exclusion. Prevention is now appearing in some mental health strategies.

It's okay to be mentally ill, it's not your fault. This is a positive environment to discuss your diagnoses and surround yourself with people who understand your situation.

Self diagnoses should be encouraged in a way that people should make themselves aware of certain symptoms instead of ignoring them and allowing things to escalate into problems. You shouldn't feel wrong for self-diagnosing mental illnesses so long as you recognize that you could be wrong, but if you've done your fair share of research, you have some credibility.

I'll likely add onto this thread in the future, but for now this is all there is.

Let me preface this by pointing out a couple things: Tampons don’t work for me - I can only do pads. I have PCOS so I have to take hormones for a week every 90 days to have a period.
     
1. Having to wear TWO pads (end to end with a bit of overlap) all the time because one overnight, super-long, super-absorbency just doesn’t cut it.
2. Having to take two showers every day (regular shower at night and a quick rinse off in the morning) because of course the pads didn’t work as advertised.
3. Having to change underwear at least twice a day because of course the two pads didn’t cut it.
4. Wondering if it’s just normal ovulation or if a ovarian cyst popped.
5. Standing up from a sitting position and feeling it gush. Laughing and feeling it gush. Crying and feeling it gush.
6. Sneezing and thinking that you will cover the world in blood.
7. Pretty much doing anything and feeling it gush. (Oh, there’s an eyelash on your cheek? Let me bleed everywhere while you get that)
8. The period stuffs.
9. The period farts where you know, you just know that you now have a splatter of blood on your granny panties.
10. No seriously, the combination of period stuffs and period farts.
11. Because I wear pads, the complete embarrassment of purchasing the huge econo-sized box of Always Super Long Super Absorb Overnight pads at CVS.
12. The looks your lady friends give you when you mention that you can’t do tampons and so yes, you wear pads like a 12 year old girl.
13. The sound of pad wrappers in an echo-y bathroom. “No ma’am, those aren’t snacks I’ve brought into the bathroom with me, that’s my loving pad wrapper.”
14. Having to sleep on a towel. And then having to wash said towel.
15. The constant fear that everyone around you can see the outline of your pad(s) through your loving pants.
16. The ever-so-slight rustling noise when you wear a pad while wearing a skirt. Nope, that’s not your jersey-knit skirt making that noise, that’s your loving pad.
17. Can other people smell that smell? Am I freaking out about it? I change pads every hour, it can’t be that bad. 18. Maybe I’m just freaking out. But for serious, is it bad?
19. Wanting to cry because you never feel clean after wiping your ass after a period stuff. For that matter, never feeling clean at all.
20. forget the pain of sore titties.
21. Not being able to find a position where you don’t feel like you’re going to leak through the pad, panties, and pants all over the place.
22. The nasty gooey almost chunky but not fully solid clots that you pass. “Oh look, my uterus just stuff that out, how loving amazing.”
