not currently out yet, set to come out may 10th on steam
hey, have you ever driven a bus around recklessly in a city breaking many laws including but not limited to the speed limit and gravity and thought "man, i wish my bus would just keep getting longer every time i swooped up passengers!" well then you're in luck because your strangely specific fantasy can soon be fulfilled

"Snakeybus is a casual arcade game that requires a balance between reflexes and forethought. Weave through the city streets and pick up as many passengers as you can. Drop your passengers at their destinations to cash in. The more people you drop off, the more your bus grows in length. Play smart and avoid crashing into yourself!"

this looks pretty great i know i'm gonna get it as soon as it comes out how bout u guys

Games / Fortnite Battle Royale thread 2 i guess
« on: March 08, 2019, 12:54:59 PM »
made this cus i'm starting to get back into the game again and missed my other thread's "too old" point by a few days rip lol

ya i know apex legends is the best new thing and that game's pretty sick, but fortnite is still going strong and is even taking a few notes from apex. hooray competition is healthy and games can co-exist! anyone else here still bother playing this?
i might even consider getting the battle pass for this new season but i might wait to see if i actually do stick around with this game

oh and here's the old OP i guess

Fortnite Battle Royale by Epic Games is a 100-player PvP battle royale game set in the Fortnite universe, where the last man or team standing wins. Who woulda thought!?

The main things that set this game apart from other battle royale games are its building/destruction mechanics and unique items. This naturally opens up more tactics and strategies to victory. There's also less of a focus on looting and more of a focus on the action.

You may play solo with every player for themselves, duo with everyone paired up, or squad with up to 3 other friends or randos. In addition to these, occasionally there will be week-long limited-time events with special rules like 5 teams of 20 players each or faster storms for more frantic action!

This game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS for free, with cross-platform support with friends. There are micro-transactions, but only for cosmetic items.
Why not give it a shot if you haven't already?

Games / (video) Why every game needs Bots
« on: December 26, 2017, 11:41:15 PM »
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgc-p79L2cE

as someone who's played probably thousands of pseudo-multiplayer matches over at least half of my whole life at this point i feel this video made by 2kliksphilip speaks to me.
i love playing with and against bots. unfortunately it can be a rarity to see them be a thing in more recent games, but it might be understandable with online multiplayer becoming much simpler to start playing on and more people playing because of this.

a game i'd like to make a good example of its bots is Section 8: Prejudice. there's a good amount of things to do in a game such as that, a battlefield-like thingy with side-objectives showing up every now and then that could turn the tide of the battle. they can skydive, jetpack, and drive to and from anywhere u can. they can use all of the equipment u can unlock and can build and use anything u can too. granted they're not perfect, it's hard to make human-like bots, but they're not bad either.

that game has been dead for a good long while, but lives on for me through the offline-play. heck i've enjoyed it so much i figured out how to play with up to 63 bots instead of just 31 through editing an ini file since 64-player dedicated servers were a thing, and it is an amazing experience. it feels like i'm in a war with this many of them running around doing whatever objective they wish to do at that point.

but anyways enough of me gushing about that game in particular, but i mention it because i got that game due to me finding out it had bot support. if it didn't, i wouldn't have ever touched it, which would've been a shame knowing how much fun i still have with the bots. today, not having bot support is still usually a deal-breaker for me. sometimes i can't help but think about how much fun i would have with certain games if only they would have them.

so what do u guys think about this? do any of u feel the same way, or do u at least agree somewhat that having bots in certain multiplayer games is generally a good idea? or do u think it's just a waste of time nowadays?

ye

so around 6-ish i was watching a video and i heard my dad scream for me to come downstairs a lot louder than usual so i ran down to see him holding up my mother on a chair and told me to dial 911 for him, i went and did it but he did the talking since he knew what happened and i helped hold her head up

she apparently fainted seemingly randomly while trying to take our dog outside and she hit her head and her knees as well
she was having trouble breathing and talking when she became conscious again and was at times twitching a little
the paramedics got here fast, luckily it didn't turn out to be too urgent of an emergency since they didn't have their lights and sirens on on the way to the hospital

and a few hours ago we got to see her and she seems to be pretty ok now, but is still hurting from the head and knee injuries
my granddad drove me home a few minutes ago since it's pretty late and my dad's still talking with her and she'll probably stay there for the night
not totally sure what it was that happened but it seems like it was a sorta-minor thing now, but hell it was scary at the time but at least she's gonna be fine

so in case a few of you were wondering why i didn't open my night topic yet well that's why
but man sometimes you just never know when something like this or worse can happen to somebody you know

reason I'm asking is because I'm working on making this work with the default colorset and well when you get a build that was made in another colorset and load it with default colors there's those greens that should be grays and such and it's a bit annoying to do manually
