Here is some interesting information for you Transport Tycoon fans. I popped in my old Transport Tycoon Deluxe disc and ran it with DOSBox. It allows you to choose a grassland or Mars landscape. This is an interesting find since normal copies of Transport Tycoon Deluxe have grassland, desert, snow, and toyland landscapes. The only Transport Tycoon game that was reported to have Mars graphics was the world editor edition.

I recall seeing a PC game at a Dollar Tree store years ago (early 2000's). If I remember correctly it was an underwater rts with 2D and 3D graphics. It was a disc pacakged inside a cardboard type sleeve. I think it had a picture of a barrel on the front or back?

General Discussion / Is it possible to make a perfect vertical circle?

I have been trying to create a perfect vertical circle. I plan the circle out by creating a circle in a paint program and then I count the pixels on the edges so I can translate that into bricks later. I build the circle by overlapping bricks, so if I need a brick that is 2 stubs long I use a 3 long brick. My flat circle came out fine but my vertical circle comes out egg shaped. Am I missing something here or is it impossible.

The circle in this case is 128x128px, but the problem happens with other sizes.

Gallery / Art Deco Building

Here is some information of the progress of my current project. My goal is to make an art deco style building (Hopefully it comes across as such). This building has a total of 16 floors. The view deck can be accessed from floor twelve. I still have to furnish the floors, paint and add more outside detail be the structure itself is pretty much done. Each floor contains an elevator shaft which will be evented later for transportation.

Games / Sim City 4, Zones & Snapping?

I have a question for all you Sim City 4 fans. How do I stop zones from snapping to the biggest road? For example, if I have an avenue and a normal road and I place commercial zones next to both, the zones point towards the avenue. How do I stop or change the direction of the zones?

Games / 2D Ragdoll Shooter?

Im trying to find this 2D shooter game that someone posted along time ago. The game was set in the future. The game also had ragdoll type physics.

Basically you went from level to level shooting at guards with laser type weapons. You could also upgrade weapons from what I remember. The levels were mostly gray concrete.

Here is my current project. Construction still in progress. I plan on adding watchtowers/ gate and a bridge.

Update 1: Interior rooms finished, just need to furnish the 1st and 2nd floor. Fixed some things on the exterior, added a bit more detail to the exterior also.

General Discussion / Duplicator Worries?

Should I worry about the Duplicator glitching bricks? I love using the Duplicator but I don't want to use it if it glitches my builds.

I noticed that the Duplicator floods the console and sometimes delays placing the bricks. I'm wondering if I load the save it might be possible that it will be missing bricks or some other problem will occur.

One of my past builds that I loaded was missing bricks but im not sure if it was my flash stick causing the issue or if it was something else.

I guess to put it simply, is it possible for the duplicator to break builds?

I am currently making a power generator but I need to fix this last bit of events. How do I get the "light" to shut off if there is less than 5 "Power"?
