Is there any way for me to fix this? I'm using Chrome (yes scream at me) and I've heard that updating to Windows 8.1 could solve the problem.

So yesterday I got in a big fat argument with my parents. I'm not going to tell you guys what the argument was about, but I'm just going to say that the end result was that I'm only going to be online every other week. There's no end date yet, but I hope it explains my absence next week.
