So I have been craving a good action rpg. I am thinking sprite graphics. Nothing like skyrim, more of a Legend of Zelda style. (press button A to slash/ Button b to use item, kinda deal.)

Action role-playing games (abbreviated action RPG, action/RPG, or ARPG) form a loosely defined sub-genre of role-playing video games that incorporate elements of action or action-adventure games, emphasizing real-time action where the player has direct control over characters, instead of turn-based or menu-based combat.

Got any suggestions?

Gameplay:
Rusty Hearts is a Free to Play beat-em-up Action MMORPG that mixes classic arcade action with modern MMO character progression and awesome cell-shaded anime style.

It uses a dungeon crawling system with forced characters to create a story-line, you can change your clothes and customize your character somewhat but it doesn't really matter, you will be too busy smashing skeletons to be staring at your characters ass.

Creativity / Aliens+humans story

Ok so Zack0Wack0 asked a group of people to give him a story about aliens attacking humans. (written, not tabloid)

This was the one I created for him. He didn't seem to appreciate it at all though, I wonder why.

Torment left and right, slowly incoming towards our last line of defense, the humans were left defending against cruel and unusual extraterrestrial enemies who had strange ways of attacking. Every so often they would send a mothership out behind their main force to check up on them, once it is done it would leave to come back another time. Slowly the aliens would close in on the humans while shooting at them hoping to get a lucky shot off and remove any chance of survival of the human race. But alas, the spacemen were determined to survive this near extinction expierence. The aliens were almost upon the humans when they got a lucky shot off and hit the mothership. The aliens were terrified by what had just occured, they watched their family and friends destroyed by pure chance. They decided to not let those lives be lost in vain. The humans decided otherwise, learning to aim their shots perfectly, guiding them into the alien vessels. One by one the aliens lost their army to a single human craft protecting the human race. Once it was the last alien, the humans got roostery and moved out of range of their cover, the aliens saw the ir chance. They took a shot and it blew a hole right in the ship. Humanities last protectors were no more. Game over. Insert another quarter to play space invaders.

So here is a nifty little idea I had to have interactivity between modelers. I will post the selected themes for the rounds and people will try to make a model which was made in roughly 10 minutes. The model should represent the theme the best it can while still looking decent. I will chance themes roughly every 2-4 days depending on what the last theme is. I will select a theme(feel free to post an idea while there is already a theme and if enough people like it/if I think it would be good for a next theme, I put it in the list.
It can be any filetype of your choice because you are posting images of the model not the model yourself unless you are a winner, and want to post the model online for people to use (optional).

If your model looks like it took 5+ hours, I will require some sort of verification that it was done in 10 minutes, the other models will be off of trust alone.

Rules

I will only put your model up if you host it on another website, it is too much hassle for me to do it for models posted via forums uploading.
I will turn voting on a day after I set the theme. I will leave it a day for people to vote. There may be special themes which get two days for applicants and two days to vote. Or 3 days to submit your model and 1 day to vote.
Do not say someones model is your own.
You can change your model if you wish to. But that means your old one will no longer be in the voting
Try to follow the 10 minute timeline unless a theme has special rules giving it more time.
Do not publicly stuffpost saying someones model is bad. You may however, give them tips on how to make it better.

Current Theme

A futuristic helmet, any style you wish, the time has been upgraded to 25minutes for this model. Still one day for modeling, one day for voting.

Games / Making a SNES handheld

So once I move (I am moving in a couple days) I plan on purchasing a Super Nintendo and a bunch of games. I will make a new body for it, add a screen to it and possibly give it a AV out and a second controller plugin. It would become a console/ controller/handheld at that point. It is possible to do, you can search for them. I found simple instructions to do it.

The games I plan on buying for it, can you help me and suggest games that you think are good?

Off Topic / Becoming an uncle

So earlier my father called my brother, asked him if he could help move us in a couple weeks, my brother was all "can my fiance come? She cant help move anything though, she is pregnant." the thing is though, that was the first time anyone heard about her being pregnant, so everyone was all "wait what? say that again" when he said it. So at 17.5 years of my life, I got the news of I will be an uncle in a couple months.

Any of you uncles/aunts?

ARG I was about to watch Ironman2 in my local movie theater when I puked, I managed to get to a garbage can before I puked though, it was not one of the nice pukes either, it was one of the violent chest pain pukes.
