I thought I would grow out of these forums someday, but look at me now.  I thought Reddit would be my escape (lol no it sucks over there).  I can’t leave, so I guess I’m stuck being around you guys for god knows how long.

Off Topic / Good Gaming Headphones?

OK, so I need a new pair of headphones since my current ones draw too much USB power from my computer. They've been doing this only recently, and they haven't done it before in the 6-8 months I've owned them.
Here are some things I'd need for them:
1. They MUST be Mac compatible, which means they must use USB for the microphone to work.
2. Wireless ones are preferred, or at least ones that connect via usb/mini/micro and work while charging.
3. $100 or less. The budget should be enough for good stereo ones, possibly surround.
4. Like said above, stereo ones are fine, but I would prefer surround sound.
I don't care if they go on-ear or over-ear. As long as it works with my Macintosh and has a microphone, I'd look into it.

Help / Steam is having issues with locating Blockland's folder...

When I start up Blockland on Steam, it gives me the same error about not being able to save my prefs.  When I look in the config folder under ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Blockland/config/client/, there's nothing inside. How can I fix this bug?
I'm using Mac OS 10.8.5, by the way.

Help / OpenAL 1.2 not supported on Mac OS 10.8.5+

For some reason, the sound driver OpenAL isn't working for any game I have that uses it. Is it just my computer, or does anyone else have a similar issue?

Help / No Sound For Blockland [Mac]

For some reason, when I booted up Blockland today, I've had no sound in the game, even with the audio options at max. I've looked through the menus and even tried the new steam feature ("Disable Steam" under Advanced), but I still have no sound. I've attached the log if it helps.

I read in the news that the co-founder of the Oculus Rift, who happens to live near us, died in a car accident by some people who were in a high-speed chase from the cops.

Somebody stole the miniature lion statues off our next-door neighbor's front yard. How that happened, I don't know. All I can say is why would somebody do that?
