Yes today I turn 20. I will not be celebrating it until Thursday for some reason so today I'm going to sit here and play games all day. If you would like to contribute to this sad spending of the anniversary of my birth you can do so here

Add-Ons / Ban Favourites
« on: July 15, 2016, 02:52:44 PM »
Not sure if "favourite" is the right word to use but I'm going to call it that anyway.

This mod allows you to set and save ban favourites the same way you would with avatar favourites. On the ban GUI there will be a set button and buttons labelled 0 - 9. To save a favourite, set the ban time/reasons to what you want, click set and then select a number button. To load a favourite make sure the set button isn't selected and click the numbered button. If the colour of a button is solid it means a favourite has been saved to it.

Off Topic / Help me with my assignment by suggesting additional features
« on: November 25, 2015, 06:11:02 AM »
So this year I started my Software Development course at university and annoyingly (but very understandably) it is being taught from the perspective that we have never coded before. Our assignment is to create a library system which should be able to add, edit, process book details and check if its on loan. These are the features needed in order to pass the assignment. However in order to get a good mark you need to be creative and come up with features to add to the system so it actually becomes a decent and usable tool. So a few days ago I compiled a list of additional features and then began working on it. I completed it however within a few hours and the deadline isn't for nearly 3 weeks so in order to ensure I have the best grade possible I would like to get in as many decent features as I can before the deadline. Given all that has been taught since I started the course it is nearly really quantity of quality at this point.

Additional features I have already added
•   Searching for a book by name/ISBN
•   View when a specific book has been taken out and record how many times it has, when and who by
•   A class to hold the details of all library members
•   Display books released in a specific year
•   Print books by specific author
•   Series grouping of books? E.g. Harry potter series
•   Search by Genre
•   Check which book(s) a member has
•   View members list including when they joined
•   History of books taken out by each member
•   Display all books currently on loan.
•   Staff logging in and registering a new member

Any suggestions would be appreciated
tl;dr: suggest ideas for features of a library system.

Off Topic / I'm 18 Today!
« on: July 18, 2014, 07:33:35 AM »
Well I have finally reached 18. I am now an adult (at least where I live anyway). It's strange because I can remember making a topic for my 15th Birthday and it feels like it was yesterday. Oh how silly was I?

http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=162173.0

Anyway I am going out for my Birthday in a few days from now when some friends return from their various holidays. Today I am just doing the family thing and taking it easy.

As I always do I will host my Birthday freebuild so if you want stop by, I will be around once I return from dinner.

Add-Ons / Danny Boy's Add-On Dump

Danny Boy's Add-on Dump

Since a few weeks before the closing of RTB I had not played Blockland much. When the RTB site went down I decided that should I start playing again I would make a topic for all my publicly released Add-Ons and hopefully find a way of continuing to update them. Since I have some free time on my hands I decided to make use of Greek2Me's Support_Updater, fix a couple of things up and stick them all in one topic rather than creating new topics for each one.

Just a couple of things to note before we get started
  • I strongly recommend that you download Greek2Me's Support_Updater as it will allow you to receive updates as they are released. This will include new features and bug fixes
  • If you have any of these mods already I strongly recommend that you re-download them so you can receive any future updates

Also rather than copy, pasting and reformatting text from old RTB posts, I am just going to provide a link to the original topic.

Off Topic / Suggest things for me to buy to put in my Man Cave!
« on: February 17, 2014, 08:48:02 AM »
So basically what is happening is that since I have the smallest bedroom in my house my parents allowed me to use the spare room for whatever I want. I have decided that I want to make it into a man cave/home cinema type thing. I've purchased a lot of stuff and still have a decent bit off cash left so I'm looking for suggestions.

So fair I've got
  • My Computer Setup
  • Xbox
  • My own Custom Made Home Cinema system with surround sound
  • Pool Table
  • Air Hockey
  • Darts
  • Boxing Bag
  • Mini Fridge (very small and am considering buying a larger one)
  • Coffee Table
  • Cooler which will soon be filled with £20 worth of food from one of those cheap pound stores
  • Bean bags x2
  • Couch

I actually also got a tax refund and ended up being up £30 so I do have a good amount of cash I can spend on this :D

Please note the room is a good size but it isn't really big so don't make any extreme suggestions big ass suggestions.

So what do you guys think I should post in it? I want to make this thing as cool as possible.

To Buy:
  • New fridge
  • Neon Clock
  • Lava Lamp

Add-Ons / Avatar Favorite Keybinds
« on: October 08, 2013, 04:36:48 PM »
Requested by Titanium Man here

This client sided script is a set of keybinds for all of your avatar favorites to allow you to change them quicker in game without going into the avatar GUI.

To use basically find the category in your keybinds named Avatar Favorite Keybinds and set a key for each favorite. If that favorite exists then it will be loaded and a message will appear telling you the change was successful. If not then you will be informed that the requested favorite does not exist.

Add-Ons / Output Event - fireRelayRandom
« on: July 03, 2013, 05:26:57 PM »
Requested by Freek

Sorry if I've worded this stupidly but I'm tired.

This is an output event which will at random select 1 type of direction to fire a relay. You can set which directions you would like to use in the output parameters.

Due to probably my hard to understand explanation, I will try and make it more clear with an example.

That will at random choose  fireRelay, fireRelayUp or fireRelayDown and will fire it.

Here is a list of all options you can put in:

relay ~ fireRelay
relayDown ~fireRelayDown
relayEast ~ fireRelayEast
relayNorth ~ fireRelayNorth
relaySouth ~ fireRelaySouth
relayUp ~ fireRelayUp
relayWest ~ fireRelayWest

Remember to put a space between each option.

Again I would like to apologize  for my terrible explanation of this mod and if you have any questions I will answer them.

Add-Ons / Output Event - SetCheckpoint v1.1
« on: June 28, 2013, 01:39:30 PM »
Requested by Treynolds416

This output event will allow you to set a players checkpoint brick without having them actually having to walk onto it.

Example Usage
OnPlayerTouch>NamedBrick[Checkpoint2]>SetCheckpoint

That would set the brick named "Checkpoint2" as the players current checkpoint so long as that "Checkpoint2" is indeed a checkpoint brick.

Changes made from v1 to v1.1
  • Now uses a more efficient method of setting a checkpoint.

There really isn't much of a description to be given to this mod. Basically what it is a client sided mod which changes any links with https:// to http:// so that your links always appear.

Thanks to Darren for showing me a mistake I made.
