Shader Toggle - lets players cycle through 9 shaders (Default, plus 8 custom ones)

How to Use
1. Bind Cycle Shader, found under Custom Shaders, to any key.
2. Tap that key to cycle through the 9 shaders.
3. The order is: Default, Port's Soft, Port's New Soft, Port's Ultra, Lego Pepper's Ultra, ZSNO's Performance, Hata's Low, Hata's Mid, Hata's High

1. You can use an application like 7-Zip or WinRAR to extract the files.
2. to extract the .zip file, Right Click it and select Extract files...
2. Extract Shader Toggle (extractable).zip to your main Blockland folder (not Add-Ons).
3. Let it overwrite (it doesn't actually affect anything).

Miscellaneous Info
- Port made Soft, New Soft, and Ultra.
- ZSNO made Performance.
- I made Hata's Low, Medium, and High.
- LegoPepper made LegoPepper's Ultra (edited from Port's Ultra and New Soft)
- Hata's High uses 7x shadow softening, Hata's Medium uses 5x, and Hata's Low uses 3x.
- On my 2009 (high end for the time) GPU, with no bricks, and Max Shaders I get...
   + 112 FPS  on Default
   + 3 FPS  on Soft
   + 1 FPS  on Ultra
   + 75 FPS  on Performance
   + 58 FPS  on Custom High
   + 80 FPS  on Custom Mid
   + 108 FPS  on Custom Low
- ZSNO's Performance uses 2x softening and Hata's Medium uses 3x, but Hata's Medium still gets 5 more FPS on my rig.


Modification Help / Fake Items with UI Names [Solved]

I made a mod that uses the Tools menu (accesed with Q) as a multilevel command menu.

See It In Action

The only issue is, for the menu names to be visible in the tools menu, they also have to show up in the wrench gui. Is there any way to prevent them from showing up in the wrench menus?

Modification Help / White Bots in Gamemode

For some reason my gamemode produces fully white bots. They function correctly, and as you can see the body parts are correct. The first 3 bots seem to be colored correctly, and then any others are white.

Brick Scrolling

To use...
1. Bind the modifier key, Scroll Group Bricks, found in the Building subdivision in Controls.
2. Select a brick in your regular brick shelf (Press 1 to open the shelf).
3. Hold the key and scroll the mousewheel up/down to scroll through all the bricks in the same subgroup (You can check the subgroup in the brick store by pressing B).

- Works with all bricks in a subcategory, now including custom ones
- Uses infinite scrolling (the scrolling loops)

- Does not work with Too Many Bricks Inventory.

This is a simple demonstration of my new Adventure Playertype. It has Fluidity's climbing mechanics except with WASD controls (while still retaining free movement of the camera). As of right now it requires the client-side script linked below, but hopefully Badspot'll make that default.

Fluidity Player Redux

(Click image to see the preview video)

- Ledge Climbing: hold the Jet button and look where you want to climb
- Speed Scaling: Look farther left/right/up/down to climb faster
- Diagonal Climbing: Look diagonally up/down
- Vertical Grid Aligner: aligns player to vertical brick grid
- Horizontal Grid Snap: rotates player to match brick grid
- Safe Drop: Walk backwards off a ledge to automatically drop and grab it
- Smart Drop: Drop/Jump downwards instead of walking/jumping straight off
- Smart Step: step up onto a ledge automatically
- Quick Grab: Temporarily grab a ledge to slow yourself down
- Shallow Fall: enable/disable shorter fall distance
- Crouch Mitigation: lowers fall damage when crouched (applies to shallow fall only)
- Fluid Blur: camera shake FX at high speeds
- Events: onLedgeGrab and onLedgeMove
- Hanging Weapon Animation: players hang left-handed with their weapon in their right hand
- In-game Preferences, accessed via Server Control

Ledge Spacing (for basic climbing)

- Jump at a ledge to grab onto it
- Hold the Jet button to climb in the direction you are looking
- Release the Jet button then tap the Jump key to leap in the direction you're looking
- Crouch to let go of the ledge
- Walk backwards off of a ledge to safely drop and grab it

- Releasing the Crouch button will drop you at least one ledge down
- Climbing now works as long as the host's FPS is above 15
- F7 and F8 now work perfectly while climbing
- A change log and Features list are included in the zip file


Here's the demo stage for testing out the mod Climbing Testing. Extract it to your Blockland/saves folder.
