Off Topic / A rare phenomenon.

So today went by sorta fast. Everything was going usual until Seventh hour (Spanish). This is probably my favourite class for several reasons, but mainly because of people in the class. Everyone in the class doesnt really care about spanish so we just kind of goof off and our teacher doesnt mind.

Well today we got a new seating chart and I was put next to this girl that I sometimes talk to named Destiny. At first we just said hi and talked for a bit, but it wasnt till the class was almost over that I saw her Spanish notebook. I was surprised when I saw that she was drawing Homestuck on the margins of the paper. She then asked about how I know about Homestuck.

Well,  when the class ended I had found out a few things;
-She knows about Homestuck
-She knows about Steam
-She plays Minecraft

So... Yeah. I just wanted to share.

Apparently according to my friends, I have an issue. You see, I have a habit of buying Indie games. So much so that over 50% of the games in my Steam library are Indie.

Games / Is this anyway to make Steam games run faster?

So about two days ago I was playing Fallout: New Vegas on steam and it was running fine. Then, today when I tried to play it, it got all laggy. I then exited the game and played something else, but its laggy aswell.

How2Fix?

Off Topic / Ugh. Im really sick.

Ugh. Last night when I tried to go to sleep I suffered from awful stomach pains. Eventually I was able to sleep and when I woke up my whole body ached.  I decided that i'd rather go to school than stay home. My first 3 classes I just laid down and wasnt really paying attention. Finally, when the bell rang for fourth hour I just felt awful. My fourth hour was PE and I refused to run, so instead of going to PE, I went to the nurses office. She took my temperature and had to send me home because my temperature was 105. After 2 hours of laying down, my mom finally picked me up and brought me home. I laid down and woke up about 20 minutes ago.
My entire body hurts. Even walking to the bathroom puts me in pain.

I was wondering if any of you know what I should do. I might be going to the doctor  tomorrow, but until then, can any of you suggest me something to ease the pain?

Off Topic / I need to find a career

So basically at my Highschool we have this class that we go to every two weeks  to discuss our future and how we can succeed throughout our Highschool career.

Well today the teacher gave us a paper where we have to write about what we want to do for a living after school and why.

The thing is, I dunno what I want to do and was hoping that you guys could suggest me things to look into.

At the very least, I want to have a job where I can be around computers all day.

Off Topic / About Cyberbullying

Its complete bullstuff. I keep hearing about it and it always pisses me off. Like, for example, my whole class and I had to watch a 30 minute video about Cyberbullying and how you can stop/prevent it from happening. I was laughing the whole time because they gave the stupidest tips ever, "Remember, if you are going online make sure you DO NOT do the following, Give your name, Give your age, Give your gender, Give your location and whatever you do, don't talk to strangers!"

Anyone who is Offended, Hurt, or Frightened about something someone said online is a pusillanimous individual.

Off Topic / How do you show off how nerdy you are?

I was just interested because I just looked back through my day.

Heres how I show it off

• Today in English we had to type out our essay. I decided to show off my typing skills by typing faster than everyone in the class and completing the essay in 20 minutes.
• I got into an argument with 5-6 people about how Black Op's is nothing but an easy, repetitive, shootemup.
• Some friends asked me if I wanted to play xBox with them. I responded saying, "No. PC Master race"
• Someone over heard me and my nerd friend talking about WoW. He said, "Only fools play WoW and most of them grow up only to live in their mothers basement." I responded, "WoW is a great game that is commonly represented by idiots, thus giving us a bad name." I felt great after saying that
• In art today we had to draw an item that we value. I drew my computer

Off Topic / Is it possible to get a file off of a broken Mac?

So about 4ish months ago my Macbook Pro decided to break. At first I was concerned, but I then went out and bought another laptop.

I just realized that I have all my passwords on that computer. Is there any way to get them onto a thumb drive?
