Just stufftin' on the little guy(Glass)

Description -

Darren's TTDM is a two-sided Team Deathmatch where you shoot the other side with a variety of guns. This includes the ability to dig trenches and build shelters to avoid getting yourself filled with bullets. The server is meant as a replacement and improvement on Glass's server, with better administration and setup.

Features of the map include:
-A central Capture Point.
-40+ buyable weapons!
-A new idea: you can't make dirt float.
-Automatic map reset if the brick count gets too big.
-No third person; no more cheating!

The server is currently in Beta and still has a lot of incoming features and fixes. Any ideas or bugs you've noticed will be appreciated; please post them here!

You're a freelance spy, infiltrating high security buildings with subterfuge, gratuitous face-punching, and an unusual type of electronic sabotage. You can cross-link things like light switches and doors so that the guards unwittingly take out their own security systems, their colleagues, and even themselves. It's pretty funny.

This is a 2D stealthy puzzle game in which you are a spy who breaks into buildings and with gadgets you purchase, you can complete the level successfully. This game is currently in it's development stages so it is not yet released. Although you can sign up to a development build which the developer will send out emails about, click here to sign up to the development builds.

The game looks like a bunch of fun from the video and should be a great release when the game gets released!

anyway, i was wondering what you guys would like to see in blockland server wise?

freebuilds, eventing servers, zombie gamemodes and stuff like that - is there anything you guys would like to see pop up in blockland one day?

i am asking this because i am bored and i need to create something within blockland which'll be worth doing

Off Topic / Back pain

Today I have encountered one of the worst loving pains ever.

I went over 13miles on a loving BMX bike down to town with two of my mates and it was all uphill and most of it was wet, so I had to try and keep as much grip as possible.

The problem is that I went up a forget steep hill which I managed to ride over. Only just that is. The main muscles I was using was my arms because that'd help me push myself up, but using my arms created stress on my back which I did not realise until I got to the top.

I got to the top thinking I did ever so well in getting up there successfully, the next minute I was on the floor with a contraction feeling and I could not get up for around 10 minutes. I walked the last two miles home as I could not face any more stress going onto my back.

After that two miles, I got home, eyes hurting from hayfever, back absolutely killing, aching and every single thing imaginable. Now I cannot move my back without me feeling faint from the pain I get from it.

Any ideas? Because right now I am in terrible pain and I feel like punching a brick wall just to get my mind off it.

Modification Help / TCPObjects, how do they work?

I have recently seen many new TCPObject scripts which people who I am in contact with are capable of doing. But as they are capable of doing these scripts and I am the odd one who is unable to script such a thing, I am asking you guys on the forum to give me some basic advice.

How would I be able to make a TCPObject server in which a client can send information to the server? (The server is within Blockland and so is the client)

How would I be able to retrieve information from a website?

Is there any good examples of TCPObjects in certain scripts which I could take a look at?

Drama / Pixelwise's Freebuild server.

Just joined the server to do some building since it's a freebuild then one of the admins decide to use serverCmdMessageSent(fcbn("Darren"),"I have warts on my genitals"); without a reason. I had not even attacked the server or piss anybody off in anyway.

His first attack was on this dude called anthony441, they perma banned him for giving his opinion towards the server. Even then they probs used the same function to make him say that, which is pretty sad.


After that, Ultimate Power decided to randomly spam the chat, I replied with "dude we get it" and then the "I have warts on my genitals" bit was not sent by me.


He continued to do the same and spam the chat. I sent the "how pathetic" bit.

I didn't say "/wand" either.

I got unbanned from the server after so I cannot post a picture of the ban time. oooh i joined back in the server and i told him i am going to drama the server, he banned me for this reason;



I say this is not the freebuild you should join. Sounds like a script kiddie server to me for some assforgeted handicapped admins.

Off Topic / My Computer's motherboard.

Today it has come to my attention that I need more than one operating system on my computer and therefore I took a look inside my computer to see what it had.

My computer has two SATA ports which are currently already being used.
One for my CD-ROM Drive and the other one for my 400GB Seagate Hard-Drive.

I am wanting to install another Hard Drive since I cannot be bothered to partition my system's current hard drive.

What could I do without loosing all my system? Am I able to replace my motherboard and have the same operating system running flawlessly or is there another port somewhere in my motherboard in which I can connect another hard-drive upto?

I am not great with hardware so I came to ask you guys.

I was looking around on the Appendix A.pdf as I am in lesson right now but I have finished my coursework since I have nothing else to do I thought to look at the appendix file.

Anyway lets get to the point;

startHeartbeat() Purpose Use the startHeartbeat function to start advertising this game serer to any master servers on the master server list. Returns No return value. Notes In order for this function to do anything, a list of master servers must have been previously specified. This list may contain one or more server addresses. Once this function is called, the game server will re-advertise itself to all the master servers on its master server lits every two minutes. To specify a list, simply create a set of array entries like this: $pref::Master[0] = "2:192.168.123.15:28002"; $pref::Master[1] = "2:192.168.123.2:28002"; ... The format of these values is ==> Region Number : IP Address : Port Number These values should be specified in either the client's or the server's preferences file (prefs.cs). Drama / Cat123 being a douchebag

basically the title says all, i started talking to cat like in march and was alright with him and i thought he was quite cool, then bla, recently he just got right moody with me because apparently i annoy him. i wasn't annoying him on purpose as I was just having a joke about him being a darker toned color because he is from brazil... I knew he didn't because he said he didn't when we was in a server once.

Things got out of hand. Cat123 was asking to help me with my damn MapCycle.cs part of my crumbling stage server which I am slowly working on. Because I am currently working on the map cycle I am facing a couple of issues having different builds loading up as it only loads one. I told Danny Boy and asked him to see if he could see any problems within the script. He checked it and we thought it should work as normal. Cat then came into the discussion and begged me for him to help me, I declined as I knew for a fact he would be forcing me to use different methods which I had already tried. I was tired and in a bad mood so I thought, if he was pissing me off, why not piss him off? so I was saying he was black and pissed him off and annoyed him aswell, which lightened my mood. This dude is pretty blind to what I say to him, for example if I say to him that I don't want any help, he would then ask me to give him the script because then HE can fix it. I got pissed off and ignored him as I am currently learning how to script, he was pretty much boasting about his skill and therefore was completely ignorant to the fact I didn't want any help from him.

Overall this dude is pretty annoying and very stubborn.

Also he blackmailed me today saying that if I annoy him anymore he'll rip the crumbling stage script and claim it as his own, as he does with some other scripts he's made ripped off. 






all he did these two pictures was nag me to let him carry on the development of crumbling stages, i said that i have a life and that i basically have not had time for it in the last two weeks and all he has done is made a stupid joke about it. i thought it was abit childish and pathetic.





i was just being sarcastic their, i am not gay...


just to add, many of his SA's within his server are only their because they made a script, oh and what is even more hilarious is, is that he de-admins people who doesn't make stuff for him. Also here's for the truth because TomTom had made an aimbot as he barely had anything to do, and Cat123 wanted it, he asked and TomTom replied with no. He then de-admined Tom.

Also to add on, he rips off other people's scripts, he ripped off TomTom's BoB script which was basically Tom's personal script which he used for multiple purposes. Cat then named the script as one of his own.

Modification Help / Creating a Map Cycle

Right, I have finally got back on track with the Crumbling Stage gamemode I am working on and inside the MapCycle.cs which I am working on, I seem to be getting a huge problem with how it cycles through the builds. For example when the slayer ends the round it'll clear all the bricks and it'll find the next file, but the problem is that it only finds the same file it loaded last time.

but i have been suggested to use for statements, but that'd be stupid

I have had thoughts that it'd be to do with the global and local variable thing, but yet I am still unsure.

I have not touched this since 2 weeks ago at the most, i should be putting this in Coding Help but since you're working on a mapcycle add-on, i thought it'd be relevant.

EDIT:
Changed the variable to global, it still gave me the same outcome.
