I heard from some people that the price of a song is going from 99 cents to $1.29!  I also heard it starts tommarow.

Is this true?  Discuss!

Games / Super Mario RPG

I just downloaded this on my Wii the other day.  If you aren't familiar with this game you start with the same storyline as any other Mario game but a new enemy appears.  Mario teams up with random partners he finds and blah blah blah... 

But now to the point.  This game is amazing for an SNES game.  I find myself having to play it over an dover again to beat a certain part.  It is well thought out and is actually much better then many games released today.

Welcoem to the OC Desert RP!  OC has been working on this on and off many times and are continuing to play but we would like to share where we are at now.  Below are soem things you can do dring this RP.

The Beginning
Start out as a stranded civilian in the desert.




Gather your supplies and build a small tent.  A hard start to life stranded!






The Basics
First comes food.  Start out by fishing or hunting to fill your stomach.  Then creating a fire to cook the meal.






Gather resources!  Anything you can find can be put to work.  Use to make an invention or furnish your tent.

Try cactus:



Of course you need water.  But rocks are handy too:



Advancing
Move into a bigger tent using the XP point system.  With every job you get XP.  Look at the space you get!




The continue gaining XP to own your own shop!




Never Ending Possiblities!
The OC Desert RP is always different every day.  There is always something you can invent find or do!

Drama / People in Drama are Getting Annoying

I understand that it is not agaisnt the rules to post about someone banning you or whatever.  However, it seems every time something happens to someone it is here in minutes.  Nobody cares about how some guy banned you for some reason.  Nobody cares about a guy who asked a stupid question on your server.  It is getting rediculous.  A topics is made almost every minute for no reason.  I just had to get that out.

Add-Ons / OC Color Set

Introducing the OC Color Set!  As you see in the picture below I have created a standard, trans, dark, unique (random colors I made), greyscale, browns, and because we are Outdoors a greens.

Help / Servers Suddenly Dead

Well I have been able to host serevrs for several months now.  But suddenly they don't work.  I tried to re=port forward but still nothing.  Has thee been a port change or something?  Please help.

Games / Mario Super Sluggers

Yes, it is Nintendo.  Yes, it is Wii.  Yes, it doesn't have amazing graphics.  But, it is a good game.

It has great improvements from the original for the Gamecube version.  Luckily it has an option of motion or buttons.  That is just some basics I have discovered.

Welcome to the official topic of OCU! 

About OCU
This university was founded by the Outdoors Clan.  We have constructed a small school with classes teaching different specialties in Blockland.  Such as wrench events, better building, and good host/admin class.  This is mainly for newer members but I have seen some lower IDs still having fun.  So basically we made a school for the community to help people who might not know how to create a pong game or who think a baseplate is the perfect roof.

So Why Do We Need You?
Although our few teachers have good abilities.  We are still looking for people who can teach other skills.  If you have a good talent that you would like to share with new members then post here and you can join us.

This Sounds Pointless...
If you are in the hundreds IDs a lot of you are porbably thinking this.  Maybe even higher.  But although it doesn't appear anything happens to you there still can be.  We focus on making a better community.  So the more people learn.  The less "omg! halp me with this music brick trigger!"  So although it doesn't appear it can still help everyone.

How Can I Get Invloved?
If you would like to enroll as a student.  Or help teach members.  You can post here or come to an OCU server.  Either way we look forward to seeing you.

Suggestions & Requests / Dart

My friend, Reis and I were working on a project.  We were trying to do some targets and getting points for good shots.  However we encountered 2 problems.

1. It was odd throwing a spear or shooting a bow.
2. Neither were exactly on target.  However, they shot in the same spot below the spot you wanted.  So if you found the spot it was the same shot. 

So we concluded with a dart.  It is at least something different to Blockland.  But we were hoping the throw could be more random.  So it would be in the area of your aim.  However it might go way low, then a little to the left, then very high and to the right and etc.  Just a random throw.

Gallery / OC Western C&R Sneak Peek

Just took a picture of OC's newest project.  It will turn out to be a big old western city cops and robbers.

Over to the left you will see some ramps.  That will bg a giant hill with tunnels for a robber hideout.  We are hoping to fill everything else with other buildings.

Drama / A Defensive Dad and a 4 Year-Old on Blockland

Just an average day on a server with my friends,  including The Irish Q.  So he lets his brother come on who is 4 years old use the same account on the server.  He can't read or write as you could guess. 

So he starts going around carelessly hammering things.  Because of the same account he had full trust.  So i kick him.  He re joins.  The same thing continues a few times.  Suddenly the older irish says his brother his mad.  Little irish tells his dad and his dad got mad.  His dad said that he wanted everything destroyed on the server.  I think he was just a move away from jumping on the computer himself.  I dropped the serevr and cased close.

But my point: There are 2 things wrong.  The first is a 4 year old on the internet.  Then his dad about ready to yell at a bunch of guys on a computer game.  This really struck me funny with a big question mark.

Help / Weapons Problem

I was hosting a DM on my server and nobody was getting hurt.  It turned out that out of the few add ons I currently have only the rocket launcher and the spear gave damage.  Any gun didn't give damage.  Neither did close range like the sword.  What should I do?
