Suggestions & Requests / Pilot playertype
« on: October 06, 2015, 03:50:27 PM »
I've been working on a couple projects, and I could use a playertype that's basically just a standard no-jet player, but when in a vehicle, will (slowly) passively repair it, kind of like the Engineer/Pilot classes from the Battlefront games.

Suggestions & Requests / Team Support Items
« on: February 24, 2015, 04:35:14 PM »
So this is the third time I believe I've requested this, and since the last thread is almost a year old, it'd be better to make a new thread than to bump an insanely old one.

What I ask is some items that provide a temporary (~10 seconds) AoE buff towards teammates in Slayer when used, and recharge after 15-25 seconds

Damage Resist - nearby teammates receive a 20% damage resistance
Extra Damage - nearby teammates do 20% extra damage
Speed Boost - nearby teammates and user receive a minor speed boost
Regenerate - Heals nearby teammates for 40 health over 4 seconds
Shield - nearby teammates receive a shield that blocks 45 damage and then goes away

Nobody ever said life was gonna be easy. But nobody ever said it was going to be this hard. This town was a bucket, and trying to do any good was standing in it and pulling up. The city was about as pretty as Lincoln, April 16th. Only way you can stay afloat in this hellhole was to push down everyone below you. You spend enough time in the sewers, you come up smelling like a rat. I'm nobody, in a nowhere town. I've been called lots of names, but the one I go by now...

Games / Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2 and also 3 I think
« on: August 16, 2014, 11:42:38 AM »

What is this?

Five Nights at Freddy's is the game that rekindles that childhood fear of those animatronics at Chuck E Cheese's.
Quote
Welcome to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! The main attraction is Freddy Fazbear, of course; and his two friends. They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds! The robots' behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman.

From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you're allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn't right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren't in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed!

This is a survival horror game mixed with a strategy game with intense resource management. Think Night Trap mixed with horror.

You don't venture outside the little security booth, all you can do is look left, and look right. 4 animatronics will come and try to get to your room, all in different ways. You need the cameras and the lights to keep tabs on them, and the doors to keep them out. But you can't keep all those on all the time, that takes up power. Power which you need, and you absolutely do not have enough. You need to properly time and ration your very limited abilities to last you throughout the 12AM-to-6AM work hours you have. If one of those things get inside, that's it. Game over. Ya dead.

Also there's two other ones and those play differently or something.

Almost a year ago, I posted a thread asking for this thing here, and nothing became of it

What I ask is some items that provide a temporary (~10 seconds) AoE buff towards teammates in Slayer when used, and recharge after 15-20 seconds

Damage Resist - nearby teammates receive a 20% damage resistance
Extra Damage - nearby teammates do 20% extra damage
Speed Boost - nearby teammates and user receive a minor speed boost
Regenerate - Heals nearby teammates for 40 health over 4 seconds
Shield - nearby teammates receive a shield that blocks 45 health and then goes away

I don't even know if these are possible but whatever

I figured it was better to make a new thread than bump the year-old one, right?

Come one, come some to...well, this.

Basically, this is just some D&D campaign of sorts, using a system that's basically just 3.5e and whatever stuff I made up at the time.

There will be a max of 6 party members, of which we have 4 currently.

Classes

The Fighter

Fighters are the masters of physical combat. They have proficiency in all simple and martial weaponry, and with all armor and shields. Fighters at certain levels, including the first, can pick a Fighter Bonus Feat. Level 1 Fighter Bonus Feats are as follows, pick one.

Blind-Fight
Combat Expertise (Prerequisite: Int. 13)
Combat Reflexes
Dodge (Prerequisite: Dex. 13)
Exotic Weapon Proficiency
Improved Initiative
Improved Unarmed Strike
Point Blank Shot
Power Attack
Quick Draw
Rapid Reload
Two-Weapon Fighting (Prerequisite: Dex. 15)
Weapon Finesse
Weapon Focus

The Rogue

Rogues are those sneaky, agile types you never see. Rogues inherently know how to strike a target's vitals when they aren't seen coming, and their quick wits let them find traps nobody else can find

The Ranger

Rangers are woodsmen, skilled in the art of surviving in the wild. They are experts in tracking, and can handle wild creatures better than anybody else.

The Wizard

Wizards are spellcasters, masters of the arcane. They have access to all level 0 spells, and can choose three level 1 spells at their first level, plus a bonus amount based on their Intelligence level You will receive the list of spells to pick from once you allocate your ability scores.

The Cleric

Clerics are holy men and women, travelling the lands to spread the blessings of their deities. Clerics, unlike wizards, have access to all Cleric spells, and must spend some time to pray for their spells for the day. Clerics can also channel their energy into healing spells, replacing a prepared spell with a healing spell of the same or lesser level. Finally, Clerics can turn the undead.

What the forget, Jelly, why are you running two adventures?
A. Flying Frontier doesn't really get that much traffic, and if it does, I can just set up a schedule for these two. And B. I got this idea bouncing around in my head for the past few weeks.

So is Flying Frontier going to take a back seat to this?
No, I'll update both of these whenever I get suggestions. Like I said, Flying Frontier isn't exactly a high traffic thread, anyway.

What even is this?
Fantasy RPG-esque thing

You are in some form of ruins of a temple. It's in some kind of cave, and judging from the condition of the cave, no one has been in here for quite some time.

Help / I can't access my key in anyway, am I screwed out of Steam?
« on: December 16, 2013, 06:08:09 PM »
Way back when in December 2012, the email address I used to buy and recover my Blockland key got deactivated, probably because I first made it when I was 8 years old.

Unfortunately, this means I can't get my Blockland key, so I can't seem to get my Blockland on Steam.

What do I do?
