General Discussion / How active is this game?

yooo, been awhile. I started playing back in 2010 I believe. Been almost a year since i've been able to check out whats going on with this game. Sadly I see no new updates have come out. If you guys don't remember me, I helped run CBMHosting service, it was a free hosting service for this game. On average how many people still play this game? I kind of want to get some time and play for nostalgia purposes lol. This game was so cool and still is. Just wish it was still being updated. It has so much potential.

Wow this is super nostalgic aha, I started playing way back in 2009, coming back here and seeing some familiar names is sweet, anything cool happen? I'm interested in hearing what's new, this game was always a great place to be creative and friendly. I remember playing this game all summer and winter break long, and making TDM's and stuff, haha, sweet to see Pecon's boss battles is still up.

So as some of you may remember me, I was a part of the free hosting service CBMHost that lasted from 2012 to very early 2015. I've been busy with basically life, and haven't had the time to check up on this game. Anything cool / sad / weird / funny happen while I was gone? I'm pretty interested in checking out some new servers tonight or this weekend. Basically when I get some time this weekend. So comment away!

Also any old timers that remember me, hmu I wanna talk :D

A bit of a background
So, I've been producing / DJing for about 2 and a half years now. I never really released much up until this point (2015), where I'm pretty confident in my sound and style. I'm obviously not professional, but I think I do have enough knowledge and experience I can make some nice music. I prefer to make happy and upbeat music, but occasionally I'll make some downtempo chill stuff. So yeah, enough of me talking :D

Hi guys, so I'm bored right now and I want to buy a PS3 game or a computer game. Or if there are any computer games for free, tell me. Anyways, I'm looking for sort of a medieval / fantasy game. That's really immersive (don't say skyrim, i ordered it already). Anyways, something that I'm in control of, I don't want like. Click here... General Discussion / Fruity Graphics - Your dreams come true

Amazing, new, revolutionary, extraordinary, supernatural, outstanding... PHENOMENON
Hello everyone, today, April 1st 2014 is a revolutionary day for Blockland users. All you have to do is download this .zip file I have compiled, for you all today, stick it in your screenshots folder and then run Blockland, and play.

What does it do?

This file (screenshot_addon_script_graph ics_yes.zip) allows any user to get terrain to work again, what I've done, is, modified the prefs.cs file to allow the user to generate one single plate (10000x10000) that has an intense normal map texture applied to the surface, sadly only 4 maps are supported so far:

1. Slopes
2. Bedroom
3. Tutorial
4. Kitchen


This file is completely safe and only available for testing until April 1, 2014 11:59 PM EST.

After that, the project will most likely be recycled onto my computer, and then I'll rip out the guts of my hard drive and burn them in an eternal fire.

Off Topic / (American) Football conditioning/lifting thread

idk how many people here actually play football, or if you're thinking about it. I just got back from winter conditioning (I know my school is weird) we do winter conditioning all the way to spring then take a 2 month break (if we want) then we kick back into gear and then we're in actual practice and our first game is literally like 2 days after we start back up. During those 2 days we get our jerseys, helmets, pads, gloves, cleats, etc. Anyways, I'm currently doing lifting/conditioning. It's conditioning cause we're outside for about 25 minutes everyday chucking the ball and doing drills then we come inside for an hour and a half and we lift and or do more drills. So yeah post your position and what you're doing to stay fit.

I'm currently:

Defense: Linebacker
Offense: Offensive Line / Backup Running Back (Since my football team literally has 15 players I play both offense and defense)



I have a feeling not to many play football here lol But I'm extremely interested in seeing what some of you guys play. And also feel free to share funny / painful stories.

Help / Uninstalling Blockland on Mac

I'm currently trying to uninstall Blockland so I can get a fresh install because after the launcher comes up it asks me to run the program from Blocklandlauncher.app and, actually, I am running it from that area and it won't work. There is no uninstall file, either. People say I could just drag the application over the trash can but then I risk messing stuff up. I'm new to Mac so ahhhh.

Help / Why do my shadows do this?

I'm sure it's just my graphics card, but under options. I can run the S&S to the maximum.


But it does this from Low all the way to Maximum. The Minimum one works fine, (it has no shadows just shaders).

But I'm confused. Do I need to update my drivers? I have a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

Im staying home, playing video games staying warm while all the other schools around me go to school still :)

I'm really happy though, cause like 3 people yesterday got frost-bite (which is ultimately their fault because they didn't dress appropriately). But that's handicapped teenagers for you.

I just got a new macbook pro, and steam won't let me download a steam game that was for pc. I was going to try and like use a 'wrapper' or whatever they are called. I'm not really good with Apple stuff yet xD

Games / I need your guys' help on finding games that aren't bad for XBOX 360

Okay guys, my friends b-day is coming up, he just got an XBOX 360 and he's looking for games. I have $150 to spend on him, so recommend any games really. But here's what he's looking for (and make sure they aren't gorey or anything or else I'll be dead, his parents are really strict)

He wants:

A good story-line (engaging, exciting, etc)
Decent Graphics
Not rated over T
Isn't gorey
Doesn't have a load of cussing, nudity (no nudity)
Isn't overly-violent

I know this is hard to find games like this, but I'm on a deadline his Bday is this Sunday.

I'm still looking but I figured you guys are the best to ask. Please no dumb comments like "far cry 3" as much as i love that game, I can't buy that for him.

Off Topic / Getting real bad headaches at school

Okay so for the past 2 weeks I've been getting insane headaches all week, almost to the point where I can't think, I get angry quickly (when I'm in pain I get angry for some reason), I don't pay attention in class and it's really starting to take a toll, as I have exams tomorrow and next week. Over Christmas break I had no headache what so ever. But now, I have this, I only get them at school and they go away once I get home around 4:00 PM. Is there any way I can try to solve this issue?

Merry Christmas everyone! For people who are in Australia, their Christmas is about over I think. UK area, it just turned Christmas day for them like 39 minutes ago.
