Well, I doubt many will do much about this idea, but I figured I'd put it out there before I forget it.

The idea is this, all players are able to /warp when the warp gamemode is started. To make things quicker, players can bind /warp to a key (this could be a weapon too). If players go out of bounds they die (the bounds would be denoted like a safe zone I think, or some sort of thick wall/events).

Warping has a short cooldown (5 seconds maybe?) so that isn't abused. It might also be a good idea for it to take a moment before you are actually warped, there are a few limiters like this that could be done to make it more fun.

As for what you do with this warping ability, well, you tell me.
  • All players get weapons and try to blow each other up or something.
  • When a person warps, enemies in a radius around that person will be hurt.
  • Warp tag anyone?
  • Objectives.
  • Warping causes people to be pushed. Force them to fall off the platform before they can warp back up again.
  • ???

Suggestions & Requests / Vehicle Death on Self Delete

I believe this would be simple enough, basically, if the driver of a vehicle Self Deletes while in the vehicle, the vehicle would explode/die. This would help immensely with a  race checkpoint system I'm thinking of (using events). Either that, or a vehicle checkpoint mod.

Edit: This also needs to work for vehicles that don't normally explode, and, unlike the fizzler event just released, the vehicle needs to respawn too.

I know there have been quite a few topics for various types of bots and such, but what I am requesting is (hopefully) a little different. The idea is, a Gui for bots that is similar to the Wrench Events Gui, so that creating bots to talk, follow, look like you, shoot you, or whatever is wanted, would be more accessible for those who don't understand torque.

Suggestions & Requests / Slo Mo/Matrix

Simply put, a mod that doubles everything a player does (attack speed, movement, etc.) if /timescale 0.5 was in effect, this would give a matrix sort of effect, is it possible/do-able? If not, feel free to rant at me, or whatever you normally do.

Alternatively, maybe this would only effect player movement, making them able to move faster than most bullets.

Every once in a while I want to make a small hole in one of the plates in BL, here is how I think it might work. Basically, the tool would be used to cut a hole in a plate (a few limiters to keep from cutting too much would probably have to be added) so you could create a tunnel or whatever without having to make a myriad of smaller plates to make the hole wanted. Possibly, if you cut something similar to the following the plate could be pushed back and forth as sort've a door:

I was messing around the other day (I have yet to get retail :/) and sort've been toying with some ideas, so here you go:

Bowling
Basically in this minigame a single person would spawn a ball, shoot it with a rocket launcher and see how many non-moving people (or bots if possible) they could crush.

Variations
After the bowler had either bowled twice or achieved a strike, the people getting crushed would all get rocket launchers and a ball, and, to make it harder for them to crush the bowler, the bowler would be allowed limited movement and a spear.

Volley Ball
Some people get rocket launchers, works much like normal volley ball, they use rocket launchers to keep from getting crushed or allowing the ball to hit the ground on their side. The ball would spawn on top of the net.

Variations
Crush-Ball; you try to kill each other by shooting the ball over the net and onto someone

Soccer
The rules are much like soccer, people get handguns to shoot the ball that spawns in the middle, there are 2 goalies, if they get crushed it counts as a blocked ball and they get to use a rocket launcher to propel the ball.

Variations
Everyone trys to crush each other with the ball, team with most crushes wins.
Variation 2; After a game, the losing team spawns in the referee box and trys to kill him/her.

Checkers
First a board is created, then, you use bots as pieces, the bots would have to take chat commands and be able to notice an invalid move (i.e. You say: "A4 B3" which would move the bot to a different position)

Tag
You, or a bot  chases around other players trying to tag them, you get jetpack, they don't, when someone is tagged they can't move for a few seconds to allow the tagger to run away.

Variations
Missile Tag, A rocket is shot, you then use it like a constantly forward moving vehicle, whoever gets tagged becomes the rocket and is launched from a remote launcher; Variation 2: The Missile is Nuclear and you try to do some island hopping, the chased either have no jetpack or a very weak one.[/EDIT]

That's all I can think of at the moment, if you'd like to post more suggestions, ideas or comments/criticisms just post. Most of the ideas I suggested are possible currently.

AoT General / Taking Screenshots

For quite a long time I haven't been able to use the ingame screenshot maker (I've had to use prt scr instead), whenever I try it just shows a 3 kb black pic. Any Ideas on how I would go about fixing this? Thanks.

Would it be possible to continue the changelog? It really helps and keeps me from asking everytime theres a new version about what is new. Its really simple and saves me the hassle of looking around for the new stuff :cookieMonster: .  Why was it discontinued after v6 anyways?
