Bombservice is a small group of independent developers who spend far too much time procrastinating and make the Momodora games!

Momodora is a series of action-platformers. Exclusively designed for Windows computers, the games involve adventures in the lands of KoHo, inspired by many classic games from the past, as well as modern titles with well-rounded gameplay!


Momodora III is a sequel to the first and second Momodora games. The first came out in 2010, and the second in 2011. The first 2 games are free to play and you can download them and play them right now! The third one however is 5 bucks on steam.

MOMODORA (2010, Windows): The first game in the series follows the story of Isadora, an orphaned child who goes into a forbidden land to attempt to ressurect her mother.
It's a challenging arcade game packed with 8 stages.

Momodora II


MOMODORA II (2011, Windows): Released a year after the first Momodora, this sequel is much more polished and improved in every aspect. It also abandoned the previous arcade-like progression for a more explorational gameplay. Momodora II follows the story of Momo, a priestess who is on a mission to banish evil nearby her home village.
It was released to much praise, and featured in sites such as Gamasutra, Tigsource, RGCD, the Indie Games Blog and Gamespy.

Okay so yesterday I saw a steam notification but I was pretty tired, and braindead. For some reason when I read it I thought it was a group invitiation that Zeblote had sent me, but apparently I was off by a mile.



It was apparently a friend invitation sent by a dude called Obama, which I had no idea who he was. I started talking to him expecting that he wasn't some idiot. Later I went into his profile and checked out his past names to figure out that he was BDX.

tl;dr BDX friended me so he could give me a long ass rant about how he wanted me to leave the BDX hate group on steam. I honestly just joined the group at first because a few friends invited me, and there's really no reason to deny the invitation, because I thought that he was a nuisance. Turns out he's a lot worse than I thought.

Since he added me because he found out that I'm in the group, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person he's planning on ranting at. So I think you should just stay away from this guy or else he'll kill a few of your brain cells.

Help / Can't customize my player correctly and other issues after BL on steam

So yeah I redeemed my authentication code on Blockland on steam, and I started it up and all. I've been having a few problems where every time I get out of a server, this always pops up:


I understood at first but it literally happens every time I start up BL, and every time I leave a server. After I apply the default controls this pops up too:


I tried experimenting by moving the files and all but none of that really worked, it still keeps popping up and my controls keep getting reseted.
Also I can't customize my player. I go to the player menu and the player appears without a face decal, and whenever I try to edit it the decals don't pop up, I can only change his color.


So yeah I seriously need help with this. If anybody can give me suggestions on what to do or know how to solve the problem, I'd appreciate it.

Title says it, Dism is a game project. We're a few dudes who have decided to turn a juicy story into a video game with pixelated graphics with a modern soundtrack. We are aiming for a campaign that revolves entirely of a story of this universe, and after that's done, you will unlock several small campaigns along the way. Along with that, tons of other secrets would be implanted in this game, providing a massive amount of content. However, Dism is currently in development, and it'll probably stay like this for a while, but we're planning on releasing a playable demo soon enough.

Story and Gameplay

Dism's story evolves around an unknown time in the universe, however, only known fact that the humans didn't exist at the moment. Inside a planet called Wint, a race called humanovus was the current master race. The physical appearance of these was not too different from those of humans, however these people had far better comprehension, had a different organ system, and held powers that was beyond overpowered. The planet consisted of 6 lands, where Ina, the largest, was the capital. Humanovus did not need education, because their comprehension was out of this world, and they could understand things in the blink of an eye. For young people, there existed an academy inside Ina called Vehemon Academy, where the students that inhabited it were trained to someday become powerful mercenaries.

The story tells how 4 orphan and amnesiac protagonists save their planet from a massive threat, leaving their cheerful everyday life and entering dark memories of their past as they travel around the other 5 lands of Wint.

The gameplay in Dism primarily consists of a very classic platform shooter perspective. However, the variety of planned weapons, abilities, and levels is outstandingly innovative. From using your fists to beat up your enemies, to using basic and legendary firearms to blast away those in your way, or maybe driving a mech or even controlling 4 characters at once. This will be a blast.
Team

Zay is the lead developer. He is writing the story of the game to managing the project, and does the art and sprites of the game.
Plastiware is the lead composer. He writes some badass songs in every genre possible, he also takes some decisions in design and in management with the lead developer.
Electrk is the lead coder. He organizes the project's files, and is from now on coding the game and building it up itself.

either way, I decided to change my drawing style a bit by making the eyes look different. now instead of the eyes being dots or really small circles, they look more like actual eyes. So I decided to try them on Dism characters and well here it is

Right now there isn't a lot to see here on the media section of the OP, which is why I suggest you to visit the latest pages of the thread frequently whenever you'd like to see progress. Also since it is in early development, there isn't a lot to see, but there will be once it advances!

Back in Halo 3 there was this GameMode which was Free-For-All, where a player had to grab a skull and had to hold it for as long as they could, and the longer they sticked to it the more points the gained. If the player holding the skull was killed, you can grab it and hold it to gain points as well. The objective was to reach the score limit.

So yeah.

It would be pretty neat for somebody to make a GameMode for this or a Slayer extension.

INTRODUCTION
Hello this is me Zay here to inform you about a forum user named zombiecookie. This player is extremely desperate for getting admin on a lot of servers, he keeps spamming admin applications on server topics that aren't even accepting apps. He is also putting false information into his applications, which can make it worst. He's been saying that Dr. Zegobob respects him as a trustworthy person or admin, which is completely untrue.

The following picture is a PM that was sent by Dr_Zegobob to zombiecookie to ask him to please stop using Dr_Zegobob's name in admin applications:

A few minutes after this was posted, Dr_Zegobob received and took pictures of a reply PM and an IRC in-game chat regarding the above PM:





REASONING

I've had experienced with this player ingame, as he ban-hammered me once in OrangeMan's server for absolutely no reason. I've never seen him administrate a server, but by that experience I can tell he's bad, and OrangeMan usually tells me that this player doesn't do anything but fool around as an admin, and does not contribute to the server in any way. A couple hours ago I go to my server's gallery topic and I find this in my loving face. The OP clearly tells that we weren't accepting admin applications, and that's been there for like a week. After that I look at his latest posts and there's like a BUNCH of admin apps on the first page, the worst part is that all the apps are the SAME, and he puts false information. He's been copying and pasting the same app on every loving server topic. Honestly this kid needs to stop, it's extremely annoying, and it makes me really mad to see how desperate people can be to be able to administrate a server, which is massively loving hard. This guy also applied for Boss Battles and acted extremely annoying in the topic after he posted his app and after apps got reviewed. So if this player keeps copying and pasting his same admin app on many server topics, I think this should be classified as spam, and it's been bugging me and I bet it's been bugging many other users.

TL;DR, zombiecookie is a desperate player that's been a total arse on the forums just to be an administrator. If you decide to give this player admin on your server, it's up to you, if you want an admin that does absolutely nothing and abuses, hire this guy. I strongly suggest you do not trust this player at all.

This is a TF2 Teamed DeathMatch, with a gamemode called K.O.T.H., which stands for King of the Hill. In K.O.T.H., two teams fight to capture one point, until one team hits the amount of capture time. The map is a replica of Lakeside, a TF2 map that takes an Egyptian temple theme. The server uses TF2 Weaponry, edited by Zay and Dr. Zegobob.
The server is hosted in New York, USA, using RTB Hosting.

December 16, 2012: Weapon edits finished and Christmas decorations have been set all around the map.
