General Discussion / Last seen with ID 274

Hey y'all.

I've been getting very nostalgic of late, thinking back on the servers I enjoyed most, and the people I spent time playing with.
One name that cropped up a few times in my old sepia-coloured memorybox was BrickG.

Looking on the ID databases I could find, their ID was 274 but I know that name isn't used anymore (It's up for grabs on the Blockland menu).


So out of idle curiosity more than anything, I was wondering if anyone had any information on this user. Chances are they're long gone, but maybe somebody recognises the ID or (sweet heavens) actually is still in contact with them; in which case it would be much appreciated if you could let me know.

Off Topic / Helping Out a Friend

It's been a while, forum.
Don't know if any of you remember me; I've never made myself stand-out in any way in this community but I've been here for a fair while now.
Well, I'm posting this because I need your help. I know you can give it, so it's just up to me to make you decide that you want to give it.

A good friend of mine, Harry, has entered a competition to win a fair chunk of cash; I personally think he deserves to be one of the winners, so I'm trying to do everything I can to make that happen.

Modification Help / Request for .ms file of Sword

Drama / Lower ID = Better Builder?

I have just had a little friendly argument with Sir Dooble, and we both agreed it would be an interesting idea to make this
topic and see what you lot think.

I say that there is a correlation between lower ID's and building skill, that
Lower ID = Longer time on Blockland = More experience = Greater skill.
EDIT: I am in no way saying that higher ID's cannot be good builders

Dooble says that this is rubbish, and that it doesn't matter how long you've been playing, skill is skill.


Well, tell us your thoughts, your worries, and how you think this is a pointless topic.

Personally I think this topic belongs here, but if a mod should see fit for it to be moved to drama I have

Drama / Jstar fish -What is wrong with the world

I am not one to make many drama topics, but this guy just had to have a home here.

Cucumberdude's Co-op challenge, a very nice server (minus the fact that the host is AFK whenever I go).
Anyway, I join to find lots of people talking very angrily at this Jstar fish and when I spawned I saw why,
at the very first level he had purposely blocked the door with his own body.

It was "bang your head against the wall" annoying.
He kept coming out with things like "Am I blocking your way?", and "Uh oh, got to go AFK again".
Eventually somebody made it past him (using a very clever method of going under him),
He didn't like this and so gave up completely and let us all through.

He left saying, and I quote: "Bye guys, I'm done with my midnight trolling =)".


If he does enter your server, I would take it as a great pleasure if you banned him for a very long time with a very rude message.

Suggestions & Requests / Force Powers

Hello, Liquid here.
This is my very first suggestion, and I don't spend very much time here so please, bear with me.

I am not sure if this has been asked for before, but I am building a Star Wars(-ish) kind of RPG, and it would be
very usefull to have something at least like force powers.
I am no scripter, but it seems like it shouldn't be very hard,
just some things like:

Push
Pull
Choke (Maybe slightly harder)
Lightning
Heal (Pretty easy)

And a few more.

I'm pretty sure you all know what I mean, but just to be sure, here is a video showing what I mean.

Drama / Another "master_cheif"

Another noob, another one of my servers.

I don't know why I chose to highlight this one, I guess it was just the sheer textbook noobity of it all.

Another "master_cheif" joins my server, it was a Millitary Training RPG, and starts dressing like an idiot, jumping over
rooftops and saying he is a spartian of some kind.

I ban him for 1 minute, reason: You failed millitary training.


Not long after that, I get an IRC message.

Now, I have this whole IRC conversation in picture format, so I can either read it out to you, or sombody can tell me how to show pictures.

So, untill you deccide, this is realy only half a drama topic.

I was just on my server when Woodland Creature came on and intstantly crashed it.

Just a little warning, you may want to ban him on sight.

Drama / The Forums Going Under.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but it seems to me that reccently, a few people have gone and
made lots of topics and spammed up the forums in an attepmt to bring it down.

People like, SonicMarshmellow and McKools.

I for one find this very annoying, and if any moderators are reading this I think we need more "security" measures.

General Discussion / The Search For IGSO

Since V12 my IGSO addon seems to have completly vanished.

I do not know if this came with V12 but apparently everyone elses is working fine.

So I searched for IGSO and found it, however, mediafire would not let me download it.


Does anyone have any infomation about this or a working link?
