Games / Do i have buals of steel or are horror games just stuff?
« on: June 30, 2014, 12:22:42 AM »
Here's a list of some "supposed" "horror games" i've played

Dead Space - Not scary at all

Amnesia The Dark Descent - It's really scary until you figure out the pattern, which you figure out quickly. Every time you complete a puzzle, the monster appears and after the spooky ass music stops playing, he's gone

Outlast - The AI is so stupid it's funny. It ruins the experience, and in most cases this game is trying to scare you with gore and stitched faces which become really mundane after 20 minutes

Here's some footage of me playing Outlast and being bored.
No commentary though, I'd probably sound like a hibernating bear if i had done that.

Bottom line is, have horror games ever been truly scary from beginning to end? The problem with all horror games so far seems to be the fact that they're so predictable. Your only fear is to get lynched by some monster or murdered, but the appearances of those murderers are easy to predict. A long hallway with a door in the end? A murderer is probably going to be right behind you. An open room with lots of places to hide behind? Sounds like a murderer is going to be there too. Generic room with no hiding spots? No murderers there, but a stuff ton of jump scares and "interesting flash backs to your characters paaaast". Then there's loving Outlast which outright gives you the hint "Close doors behind you to slow down your pursuers" right before a murderer is about to appear.

Games / Sonic Boom is the most autistic thing ever

Listen to this dialog

>nomnomnom rings

is sonicteam even trying anymore? They got so close to making a good game with lost world. They should've just updated that and made the controls work if you ask me and it would've been a good sonic game.

Off Topic / I think i just caught my dad masturbating
« on: June 10, 2014, 07:14:57 AM »
I just left home for an hour walk to fetch his umbrella from my moms house, meaning that my dad was the only one home during that hour. I left the house at like 13:58 after i called a friend to hang out, but he couldn't so i went to fetch the umbrella instead.

When i came back i noticed that there was a tab open on chrome for something called "Spanking tube". I closed it immediately cause at first i thought it was something i had opened unnoticed from clicking a link. Then i opened search history on chrome to delete it, and then there were like 20 searches for it. The first one was timestamped at 14:15.

What's weird about it is that he usually uses internet explorer instead of chrome.

Off Topic / My nose has started bleeding randomly
« on: September 05, 2013, 06:32:11 AM »
Do you guys have any idea why this could be happening? I've never had nose bleeds before. I'm not Googling it because it tells me automatically that i have lung cancer.

Does anyone else get really irritated by people copying that

message into their post every time they get it? Seriously, what is the point? It isn't interesting, funny, cool or anything. Do people really get all bummed when they realize that someone was typing faster than they were? like "Oh damn, that one guy typed before me. Better inform everyone!". Seems to me its just a thing everyone's doing because everyone's doing it and unless someone makes up an intelligent excuse for it, could we just stop? I don't get what the point of it is. Sure it can be annoying to have to click the post button twice, but come on.

General Discussion / Precious saves you've lost
« on: August 19, 2013, 08:54:17 AM »
Talk about different Blockland save files you spent hard time working on that you lost by file corruption, computer switch or just plain accidental deletion that you "would give anything" to regain.

For me it was a "big" (Big by V8 standards) medieval world. I made it when i was 8 and new to the game, so naturally it was filled with creative stuff like quests such as "find all the landmines" or "find all the music bricks". The whole thing was basically built inside small "aquariums" that were connected by tubes. The way i lost it was by switching over to my current computer back in 2009. I can't just set up the old machine and get the save, because parts of it are busted.

Off Topic / Try to pronounce a Finnish word
« on: August 07, 2013, 12:17:58 PM »
Since the Finnish language uses a pronunciation system "out of this world" when compared to other languages, I'd like to hear some of you attempt to pronounce one of these complicated words, so if you want to participate, go on Google translate, translate a word/sentence of your choice to Finnish, go on Vocaroo or a variant and give it a shot. The guy (or gal, of course) who does it best wins a piece of virtual cheese. Anyone who's Finnish is qualified as a judge, however anyone who's Finnish is also disqualified from the competition.

Oh and don't forget to mention what word you're trying to pronounce.
Wouldn't it be more fun if people (mostly the Finns) tried to guess what word someone tried to pronounce?

Off Topic / It is my 15th birthday

I don't know how to set my own forum time right because of the confusing m'urica terms, so the cake should appear in about 51 minutes. (I live in GTM+2).

Anyways, yay for me.

Creativity / Tell me what to doodle

Quite self explanatory if you saw the title.

Tell me a thing to doodle. I will then draw it and post it for everyone to see.
