Forum Games / Choose your own adventure
« on: August 17, 2010, 12:54:19 AM »
Hey, I did this two years ago and never got really far, I've got nothing better to do so I decided to make a new one.
The concept is simple, the story will revolve around one character, your job is to vote on how he solves the problems he is faced with.
The story revolves around a zombie outbreak in a town. The setting will be the town, it's mall, and the surrounding areas.

Choose an option and then post it.

The chosen option will be what role our character plays.
A. Military
B. College Student
C. Middle aged man

Games / Oblivion Megathread [Don't make new threads]
« on: August 13, 2010, 12:36:13 PM »

Oblivion, the fourth game in the Elder Scrolls series, is set within the province of Cyrodiil, the heartland and Imperial capital of Tamriel. Emperor Uriel Septim VII is assassinated in flight from his own palace, but just before he dies he passes to you - the foreordained of his dreams - the mystic Amulet of Kings. The adventure begins with the quest to find Uriel's lost and illegitimate son, the only heir to the throne. In a world where the forces of darkness seek their ultimate dominion over the ranks of man and mer alike, you alone stand between the future of Tamriel and the gates of Oblivion. In addition to the main quest there are many side quest and adventures to do, dungeons to crawl, and over 16 square miles of land to explore.

Horse Armour

This is the first set of DLC released for oblivion, armor, armor for your horse. When you first install the DLC you'll get one set of free horse armor, afterwards you'll have to pay. Shadowmere and the Unicorn can't use horse armour. Not worth buying.

Mehrune's Razor

Make your way through a massive dungeon in order to unearth a powerful weapon. Sort of worth buying.

The Orrery

Collect the missing pieces in order to restore The Orrery to it's once great self. Not really worth buying.

Thieves' Den

Clear the cavern hidden underneath anvil and reclaim the pirate ship within, recruit a crew and send them out to make profit for you. Not really worth buying.

Vile Lair

Take control of a home fit for a villain, great for vampires, this dlc allows you to add a prisoner set in an eternal sleep for you to feed on, a cure stone, and even a minion who will kill for you. Worth buying.

Wizard's Tower

Inherit a massive tower that includes a garden, summoning table, enchanting and spell making altars, teleporters to each mage's guild hall and more. Worth buying.

Fighter's Stronghold

Defend a castle and then take it for your own. Renovate, hire new staff, and discover the secrets of the Castle. Worth buying.

Knights of the nine

Embark on a epic quest to take down an evil Daedric prince and save tamerial. Definitely worth buying.

Shivering Isles

The only true expansion for oblivion, allowing you to travel to an entirely new world and answer the Deadric Prince Sheogorath's call for a champion. Buy this right now.

Off Topic / What you want to be when you grow up
« on: July 02, 2010, 02:30:43 AM »
Simple topic, just post what you want to do career wise with your life when you're older.

I want to become a Pararescueman or possibly a Navy SEAL, after the military I want to do something related to law enforcement, possibly federal.

Happening right now, today is the microsoft press conference or whatever. So far it's just been cutting watermelons and games in which you can molest a tiger.

Forum Games / Create a soldier

This topic is simple, take the template and then look at the item sheets and make a soldier using your favorite image editing program.

Item sheets

My Soldier

Use Impact Smooth for text related things like x#.

All this stuff is taken from a game currently in development called Inna Woods. Yeah, finally got the right section, I hope.

Suggestions & Requests / [Forum Suggestion] Automerge
« on: June 10, 2010, 05:33:50 PM »
I'm requesting a forum feature, what automerge would do is, if one were to double post, the two post would be merged instead of the second one being posted. Simple as that, I'm almost positive it wouldn't take any effort to add it to the forums.

Off Topic / Silly Bandz
« on: May 22, 2010, 11:16:47 PM »
Basically, Silly Bandz are thin bands of silicone that you can wear as a bracelet but wait, there's a twist! When you take them off they turn into a shape, most commonly an animal. These may sound like some stupid stuff that no one would ever buy but, it's the exact opposite, EVERYONE at my school has one of these, girls have them covering them entire arms, some even their legs. I just don't understand why they are so popular.

Games / Call of Duty: Black Ops
« on: April 30, 2010, 12:57:19 PM »
Oh boy, another one.

Here's the description according to some UK retailer or something.
"Packing an amazing singleplayer story that will see you fight across the globe in locations such as Cuba, Vietnam and the Arctic," says Game's product page for Black Ops. "Now you will witness the birth of the Elite Special Forces and take part in off-the-record missions using unconventional weaponry to get the job done!"
