Killing Floor is free this weekend and there's a summer event going on. It's also on sale along with all of the DLC's.
Someone should try hosting a server so we can all play together. ;o

Games / Rust - kinda like dayz

Rust

It's a S.T.A.L.K.E.R/DayZ/Minecraft-ish game in the making by Facepunch Studios on the unity engine. It takes place on an island with zombies and radiation. It has house/base building and survival mechanics. It was up for alpha testing for free a while ago, but after the recent influx of players, I believe they are only giving out batches of keys now. I had an account before they stopped handing it out for free, and it's pretty fun so far from my experiences.

and by better car damage i meant more realistic in a way i guess.
like if you drop 031920341 feet instead of just bouncing up in the jeep what if you exploded? or driving into a wall really fast? is it possible to make these instead of just bouncing off of stuff?

i've installed the crysis editor on origin but how can i get to it?

nevermind; origin is loving handicapped
i had to go back into my download list and click play on it in there, why couldn't it have just loving ran the installation when it finished downloading? >:L

right now rain currently falls through bricks, can we maybe get better rain that collides with bricks instead of falling through? in my opinion this can ruin atmosphere in an instant :v

Off Topic / need virus helps

k so just a few minutes ago, i was playing a game on steam, like normal. out of nowhere it just loving closes. now being as paranoid as i am about having viruses, i disable my internet, and then i decide to go check out my processes and click 'show processes from all users'. a bunch of svchost.exe's are there, like normal, but there's one that sticks out. it says 'svchost.exe *32". i checked the size and it's in c:\windows\SysWOW64 and only 20.5 kb. the others are in system32 and are 26.5 kb. is it a virus? they were both apparently created on july 13th in 2009 but the one with *32 was created earlier. i'm so confused because norton and malwarebytes aren't picking up anything. wat do?

okay so i got gta iv on computer and whatnot and it works fine, but when i go into multiplayer the sound comes out of my speakers instead of my headphones and i can't fix it.

Off Topic / sounds not playing through headphones?

so i got a new laptop recently and whatnot, and it's working great except for one problem;

youtube videos and system sounds and everything won't play through my headphones, the only thing that will play through them is my friend's voice when i try to voice chat him on steam
can anyone provide a solution to this please?

it's my birthday today, and i got a new laptop, it can play minecraft with max settings no lag, which is a big improvement from my last computer

i'm installing gmod and hl2 to try those out
i have yet to unwrap the presents from my mom :D
yay for new laptops :D

Off Topic / computer randomly running slowly?

this week my computer's been running really slowly, it was fine last week.
it mainly just freezes for about 2-4 seconds and then starts running again, or runs VERY slowly for about 3 seconds

since sunday i've removed a bunch of useless stuff (about 20-30 gigs actually [games i don't play anymore and other stuff]) and run virus scans but my computer is still running slow.
is it just because my computer is getting older or what?
