For one of my classes I had to make a two minute story video and I decided to do it in Blockland. I would have fleshed the story out a little more but there was about a two minute time limit.
I've always wanted to do something like this, and I really enjoyed making this and hope to make more in the future. I hope you enjoy!

Gallery / [Video] RPG Woodcutting/Mining Level System

Just a little tutorial kinda thing for a leveling woodcutting system using VCE. Kinda hard to explain it without lots of words so it's easier to watch the video, but it's a system that requires you to have a certain amount of EXP to chop higher level trees. If you've ever played Runescape it's kinda like that. You can also do more than woodcutting or mining I'm just using them because of the RPG tools which has an axe and pickaxe.
Each tree you cut grants a little bit of EXP so once you've cut enough you can move onto the next tree. The tree cutting itself takes a random amount of time but the lower level trees have a higher chance to get cut than the higher level ones.
It is possible to make it where having more EXP lets to cut lower level trees faster but that requires more work and don't really plan on making it.
I know VCE isn't being used as much anymore so if can't find a download or something I can provide one.

I downloaded it from one the RTB archives but it doesn't work and none of the other archives won't load. Can someone provide a link to a working download?

Suggestions & Requests / Download link for VCE?

I stopped playing for a while so I don't have all my old add-ons and the one that I'm missing the most is VCE. The download like is privet for some reason so I can't download it. Can someone explain why this is and/or provide a download to it?

Gallery / Magical Bridge

I made a bridge that only appears when you walk on it!

It uses all default events, no named bricks, and only appears when you walk over one of the two ends.

For those curious, these are the events:

These events are applied to all planks of the bridge and the two ends fire a relay in the direction of the bridge when walked on.

I made a video testing tracking in After Effects by tracking a blockhead's face and adding my own.

The face in the video is just a simple place holder and can be easily replaced. I am planning on mixing this effect with lip syncing, like in this video:

I don't know if this has been posted before or not but I was messing around with the environment settings and this this pretty cool effect.

To get this effect you have to change the direct and ambient lighting to the same color, I found red looks the best, and the shadows to pure black.
Then if you reverse the shadows and lights it looks pretty weird and kinda confuses me.

Games / Can't Open Steam Games - Fixed

Every time I try to play a game on steam, it loads, but then just closes right away. I was able to play games just fine yesterday and  haven't downloaded anything new since then.
Before this started happening I tried running TF2 and this error.

I restarted steam and it fixed it.
This happens with all steam games, not just valve games.

Any idea on how to fix this?
