Off Topic / I want to start producing music.

I've been listening to the Alchemist and instrumentals for a while now, and I figured now was the time I stepped up to the plate and made something that wasn't stuff, like on my SoundCloud. Something along the lines of the instrumental to this. I am on a strict budget, no money, on a Mac, all I've got is Garage Band. Anyone got any ideas/free software I could use to start out?

Very annoying, starts arguments over little things, says he's being stalked by other forum users, he gets bullied IRL, but his haterz make him famouz, whatever. Just read his posts.

Games / Looking to buy an old, old console.

Not to be a hipster or a nostalgia freak, it's just that I've never played those games, but I've had an interest for a while. I've ran emulators before, and I don't think it's the same thing. Does anybody know where I can get a really cheap console ($30 or under)? I have seen one that runs a lot of old games, but it's $70. And it's not one of the real old consoles. I may get it though. I also know where I can get really old games, theres a place with SNES and Atari games near my house.

Off Topic / There was an earthquake where I live

Apparently it was almost 5 magnitude in Westwood which is like 40 minutes from me, but it wasn't much bigger than I. It was close enough that I felt it enough to wake up in a panic (don't even remember feeling it really, all I felt was hearing a really loud alarm noise. which my mom didn't hear.) I woke up instantly around 6:45 and remember only like screaming internally (it was like that thing where you can't scream out loud - just internally) and breathing really heavy. Earthquake wasn't even that bad for me, but supposedly downtown it was 5-10 seconds.
