Suggestions & Requests / Nuts and Bolts (Similar to Blood and Gore)

Like the blood and gore mod makes it so an eruption of blood and giblets erupts outward, i would like a mod that starts with a firey explosion upon the kill (Like the big blood explosion in B&G), then explodes into nuts, bolts, scrap metal, whatever.

I think it would be a good alternative to blood and gore.

Help / SetRandomEventEnabled

This doesn't seem like it would be that hard, but I think it would be incredibly helpful.

It would look like this:

[On Activate] [Self] [SetRandomEventEnabled][________________] <Where the number of events go.

This makes it so on activate, a random one of the events in the box is enabled. This would allow us to make zombies that randomley spawn items, and stuff like that.

And possibly, it would have a second output. heres an example:
[On Activate] [Self] [SetRandomEventEnabled][1 2 3 4 5] [10% 10% 10% 10% 60%]

This way, you set the chance that something will happen. But i don't know if that will work.

Drama / Dark Claw

Alright, I would like to begin by saying, I am not complaining specifically about this player, I honestly have some questions that may effect how I was governing my server involving him.

Dark Claw: 4750 (I believe, but I could be dyslexifying it, so I will correct as soon as I have access to blockland again)

First of all, I have screen shots of my IRC chat with him, but I am currently on my desktop computer and unable to post them. If anyone honestly cares enough to see them, I will glady upload them.

Anways, the story:

I was hosting my colony server, which even regarding this issue is the most fun server I have hosted in a while. The way I had it set up, was that the general public could join and start colonies with the team deathmatch mod.

I however, was on an unjoinable team labeled "gods". No, not to be invincible or anything, but because I had the game set up so I would place mines and idols around the islands, and those who found them got special bonuses (weapons, buildings, vehicles, ect). It made it like a treasure hunt. I also controlled a variety of enemies with speech commands.

At one point, after two hours of fun, Dark Claw joined. As soon as he spawned, he joined the newest, mostly unbuilt colony, and began to run around attacking other players. The other players had better weapons at this point, so i let him attack, knowing it would just punish him in the end. I however, was not using better weapons except for a spear, so he decided to come after me. This was right about the time I had decided to spawn a tank as a challenge for the tougher teams, who were also out looking for a mine in the distance.

Now, I had told him not to attack me, as I was busy managing the server, placing idols, respawning boats, ect. He continued to, and made it difficult to work.

Eventually, i kicked him. He came back on the server calling me a "sissy" (As ridiculous as that was), and other chat spam. So I banned him for a day.

Then, he Irc'ed me (this is what I have screenshots of), telling me I was a sissy and various remarks about my mother. I told him that was fantastic and ignored him.

Now, besides the fact I think people should know about this guy, I have a question: Did my server managment make him do this, or was it just his way? Is there a way I could have prevented him from doing this without banning?

Anyway, thanks for reading, i'll try to post the screenies 2moro. If anyone would like to talk to people who were there, myself, Zou, and a variety of others can probably be found back on the server tommorow if I have enough time to put it up. This is a project that the now primarily dead clan EBC was working on under my filming/directing.
Even thought the clan is dead, a few others and I have continued the project.

(I realize there is a flaw where the team deathmatch score shows, but I was
unaware of this until it was posted on youtube. My apologies for this slight error.)

Please provide only constructive critiscism, I.E., ways it can improve.

Note: I had permission from Mr. Cookie to use his build in episode one, and
the subways and Afghan build were released to the public, so I believe I had the right to
use them too. Anyway, watch away.

Help / Build Trust Question

I've been on a few servers that, while in a minigame, allow you to build on certain bricks without build trust (Like on the ground), but don't allow you to build on other peoples bricks.

How do I do this?

Help / Bricks are not loading correctly.

I recently created an Xmas Dm, and I played on it for about 10 minutes. One of the people on my server was complaining of lag, so I decided to do a quick server restart. Afterwards, whenever i loaded the Dm, it would not load all bricks and constantly say ghosting. The bricks that were missing, albeit invisable, i could still touch. It really takes away from the build quality, can someone help?

Help / Can only spawn 3 bots.

When i attempt to make a server with zombies, i can spawn three. Then they don't appear after that. I have no idea what the problem is. Usually only boomers too. Sometimes i can't even spawn 3.

Simply enough, in order to make something "Re-appear" we have to program collision, raycasting, and rendering. The point of this add-on is so we can do all three for just a small time, which is impossible currently.

Example of how this add-on would work:

On brick with the whole deal turned off, I.E. Collison, raycasting, rendering
On the re-appear, they would all turn on, for whatever time you set, then they would once again turn off the whole deal, making it Disappeared.

This could be used for many things. A good example is it could be used for sealing an entrance. You can make a hole then place a brick in front of it, then if someone collides with the brick, the door would re-appear for 1 second, therefore, as long as you were on the button, the entrance would be sealed, and you'd have to go in another way, I.E. A Hoverboard.

Simple, i doubt any one will do it. I want it to be like the guns akimbo in the way one click uses both parts of it. Two handed, ect. If anyone does do it, it would be cool.

Now i know we have slate desert, but i want to host a treasure hunting server,  and would appreciate a hilly desert. We had one in v8, and if anyone is/would port one, that would be great.

Help / Port Fowarding crashing game.

So after getting a new router i forwarded my ports.
When i finnaly figured it out i hosted the server and used my bros pc to check whether it worked (we use the same id) and it did. then i joined myserver and the computer that was hosting suddenly got the yellow lag thing in the top left, and then my brother appeared, i wasn't there, and then i closed teh server and his shut off too.

Gallery / Mini Mansion

This Mansion is a mini house with 3 floors, a attic, outhouse, and sometimes a dog and a Igor who lives in the attic. It was built by me, my brother (if you call driving a jeep into it help), and my friend whose blickland name i cannot remember. Unless anyone wants it i'm not posting the save, but it requires scale changer or Fooly fun to get inside.
