~Trivia~

• I announced this project yesterday afternoon. This morning, around noon, I got up, went to buy snacks, got home, and sat down to work on it. It is now 3:08 AM. Actually, it's 3:54 AM, I had to upload everything and write the rest of this post. Actually, it's 4:20 AM, I've posted this across three websites and reformatted it for all their stuffty forum engines. The project has taken approximately 14 hours.
• Advanced Batch Renamer and MP3tag were saving graces.
• I used Audacity for all editing.
• The album art was the only part of this project that could be considered really my own work; when the album arrangement itself was done, the art was only at about halfway.
• During the process of writing this post, I was too lazy to manually bold and italicise my lists, and too dumb to remember the regular expressions I would use to do so in N++. So I wrote a macro to do it for me.
• I had a lot of trouble deciding on the exact colouring and shading to use for the final render of the album art.
• None of my commentary in the tracks' metadata should be taken seriously, it's just there for laughs and intrigue.
• Except the bits about Siege mode.

Crosshair Chooser

i have had this sitting around for months as an expansion to my original crosshair chooser
the reason it has been rotting for so long (despite me visibly using it in multiple video demonstrations throughout time) is because it is far from perfect. it only works with my resolution (1366x768), unless you change some numbers around. i asked for some help on the basics but never got around to making it self-adapting, so in the end of things i'll be releasing it now as is and a guide on making it suit your needs if i haven't already.

you can preview the prepackaged S4L crosshairs here

what you need to change is Crosshair.position = "651 352"; for Crosshair1_Switch() through Crosshair10_Switch() depending on your resolution

where X/Y is the X or Y of your resolution, use the values you get to replace 651 and 352

the exception is Default_Switch() which uses

since it's the default crosshair of 32x

If you're a lazy forget like me, you probably don't really want to waste time typing in the middle of a fight to ask for help or anything. It's much easier to yell at everyone at the touch of a button.
And thus this add-on was born.

WHAT

it's an emote, so it just spawns particles about you as far as seeing stuff goes. Each emotes has its own straight forward /command and also adds a keybind for you since not typing is the entire point of this. In addition to of course spawning an emote (in the same fashion as /wtf, several bubbles spawned about you), this also sends a team chat message detailing how forgeted you are and what you need. The following are the emotes and their commands.

this was originally designed with my fort wars in mind, but that's not really a thing these days. if anybody has any idea for things to add and remove, feel free to suggest.

Come this January, I begin my e x c i t i n g teritiary education!!! Thanks to the magic of waving around my achievements and Hispanicism, as well as the obligatory contributions from my shady uncle, I've got tuition pretty much entirely covered. However, I lack some basic equipment and I'd like the help of you folks in deciding what to get. As was recently discussed, I only have about 4 grand at my disposal, but I'd really like to use half of that or less if at all possible. Phone bill, CryEngine subscription, transportation, ability to pay for my own darn meals when going out with folks, etc. mean that I'd like to have a reasonable amount of money on hand. Here's what I need (so far):

• LCD Tablet - I used to have a half decent tablet laptop years ago, but I sold it because it was frankly not very good. What I'm looking for is an LCD display digitizer of sub-Cintiq levels, since I don't think I really need to go that fancy. As long as I can see what I'm doing and the tablet itself is of decent quality, I'm happy.
• Gaming Laptop - but tabbo y a gaybn laptop I'm going to an art school for game design, do the math. As I understand, it's mostly ~Unity~ over there, and I myself usually work in the CryEngine, so it needs to be able to handle these two engines well. I don't want to be that guy who had to kickstart a new computer because his machine couldn't handle his own project.
• High-quality Microphone - A decent part of my portfolio has been vocal and instrumental performance, but I haven't been able to record anything for months since I always just used my high school's equipment. I need decent enough equipment that I can lock myself into a bathroom and record a stuffty guitar for decent sound quality.
• A guitar -
  

  i was going to say i only have an acoustic guitar but then i realised it was stolen when my house was burglarised months ago *wah wahh wahhhh

  If it has strings and isn't made for babies, I'll take it.
• A processor beyond an i3 - LGA1155, so long as it works I'm happy.

More to come as I am told what I missed figure out what else I need. Links would be appreciated alongside people's suggestions. For each item, I think about $500 is reasonable, maybe a little more for the laptop.

I'm usually pretty timely about these, I guess I'll do mine tomorrow. Did anyone remember? If not, you should join me in doing them tomorrow.
I personally usually do Katie Tiedrich's style of autobiographical comics based on the day's happenings, but you can do whatever you like really. Just gotta have that 24 hour spirit.
