Wayfar 1444 is a full text based game. You may stop reading and leave now if you expect to be able to control your character without typing words.
Well, besides typing 'n' for north or whatever, you can do that.

Basically, Wayfar 1444 is a text based game where you do whatever you want, literally.

Anyone remember HellMOO? This game is just like it, except without any form of genitals or rape. If you like Dwarf Fortress, and you like space, then you'll love Wayfar 1444.

Off Topic / Florida trip

Hey guys, if any of my old pals still browse the forums that i've lost contact with on facebook or whatnot, i'll be in Tallahassee, Florida, for a little over two weeks.

I arrive on the 29th of November and stay for 2 weeks, but for one week i'm going to be on a cruise with my family. If anyone is willing to visit me in Tallahassee or maybe go with me on a roadtrip to Tennessee, that would be pretty awesome.

This is a neat game called Starquest online. You play as a person, not a ship or vehicle.

There is an awesome tutorial here!

Character Creation guide !!!IMPORTANT!!!!

To start off here, you need to make SURE that you are residing on Terra, so we can pick you up easily.

Roll your dice for your stats from strength to psi, then select as an freshman student. To get your skills.
Choose things to study, it's always best to study one thing though.



Keep going until you reach the age of 35, then you can roll the dice again to raise your skills, not your stats.

Your skills depend on what job you wish to take (tell me below in the thread and i'll reply with the skills you need to be 80+)

What the hell is wrong with you guys? Why have you made this place so horrible since the beginning of the year. There are no new funnies, all of the topics in offtopic are disgusting, and have degraded in quality by nearly tenfold. What have you guys been doing with your lives?
Where are the GETS?
Why is there no new MEMES?
Where do I get my daily cheezeburger cats?
You guys have really let me down.

Hello, forums.

I come to you today in seeking an update or new version of android to run off my HTC Desire X. Recently my phone has started crashing for literally no reason at all, mostly when connected to Wifi.when charging, it also crashes. I have two friends with the same phone and they both have suddenly been getting the same crashes as myself. I've read up that we need to update to version 4.1.1 but unfortunately Australia loving sucks and won't push the update OTA. Should we just download and use a custom version of android or what can we do?

Off Topic / Temporary Dissapearance/Car accident

Because of real life issues and work and class, I won't be checking the forums as often if at all.

(I hope nobody takes this as a cry for attention, i'm posting it so that anyone that still browses the forums knows why i'll be literally disseapearing off the internet for a month or two.)

I recently got into a car accident last night while it was flooding and as I pulled over to answer my dads phone call, my car fell into a steep 1 meter ditch and it was also full of water. If i was going faster than I was at the time, I would have probably gone unconcious and drowned in that ditch.

Incase anyone calls for proof, I took this image while standing on the road and leaning into the drivers seat of my car. (yes australians drive on the right hand side of the car)

Anyway, thanks for reading this and this is the reason why I won't be lurking/posting for a while.

(tow trucks are very expensive and I need to work two jobs to pay it off)

Off Topic / pls help router problems; Thomson TG782T

I have a Thomson TG782T with telstra, and it says we have 2mb/s internet but the maximum download rate we have during the day is 40 kb/s, and at night sometimes up to 400 kb/s....

During the day most of the family members manage to bottleneck the router so that nobody else can access the internet.

Does anyone know of some way that I can speed up the internet with the router or fix the bottlenecking bandwith issue?

Click the Cog/Gear in the upper right hand side of your facebook task bar.

Click on Privacy Settings

Modify to your likings.

Go to your profile, Click on the 'Friends' square.

Click Edit, a menu will come up. Then click 'only me' or 'friends'

You can modify A lot of options on your timeline and make things hidden from the public and friends.
