Gallery / Spinnaker Tower
« on: December 24, 2010, 10:20:42 AM »
Merry Christmas All!
Just a little project I've been working on the past few days; based of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. It has an elevator, evented but which works at controlled speed rather than boosting you at light speed to the top (also works downwards).

Glass hole in the floor- provides a great view

Feel free to comment, but be aware designing curved architecture on Blockland is mighty difficult.

In the festive spirit, I have decided to include the following couple of photos of old projects that would otherwise be consigned to the savebook.
A sattelite

My interpretation of a suburban American house (never been to America)

Hope you enjoy these   : )

Gallery / Help Required--Harrods--
« on: May 31, 2010, 03:54:03 PM »
Well, I recently started this project based on a large department store in London, namely Harrods. However, I didn't fully anticipate the scale of it, and I am now stuck with half a build which i would rather see finished than left to die.

There are two restaurants on the roof, but as yet they are the only rooms. I don't want this to have lots of small cramped rooms; I think it would look much more original if there were only a couple rooms per floor, perhaps using more than one 'row' of windows.

So please post if you/ your clan/ your friends are willing to help me.

Before you decide to volunteer, please take note of the fact that from this point onwards in will be mostly an interior build. Some exterior work needs to be done, but on the whole that part is complete. I'll also need someone to host when we have some more people.

Gallery / Church and graveyard build

Seems like eternity since I last posted on these forums, but I've got round to making something for them at last. This didn't, as I hope is obvious, take 5 minutes. It comes in at just under 10k if you're interested in that kind of thing, so have a look, feel free to rate and constructive criticisms are, as always, welcomed.

Thanks to NuclearBlizzard for keeping me company and helping out with bits of the build

EDIT:
The first picture makes the roof look ugly.
Changed roof. Also fixed the tree so it doesn't have black all over it
