I occasionally host a gladiator two team TDM on this map so keep an eye out for it. I haven't been able to test the map with a lot of people yet cause no one joins :'( First build I've made in about 5 months.

I'm not gonna make this OP too fancy or what not, this is mainly just a way to get people to know that the server is up and going. Basically this is a capture point team death match that spans across a large rural map. Players fight for control of regions to get the most points to win the round. It is 29K bricks and runs T+T. It features only two classes to keep gameplay simple.

Help / Cannot jump while crouching

As of recently, the game prevents me from jumping while holding down shift. It did not do this a couple of weeks ago and has suddenly started. I haven't downloaded any add-ons recently, either. No console errors come up when I try to jump with crouching.

      ABOUT
SPO is a building clan that focuses on bringing quality and enjoyable servers to the Blockland community. SPO was founded February 2nd, 2013. SPO has gone through many rough and prevalent times, and many great projects have come out of it; many of which will leave a lasting mark on Blockland for times to come. While SPO's main focus is building, many other positions are available as well. These positions allow for us to produce quality servers, as not just quality builds can make a server enjoyable.

      Players may join SPO in two ways. The first way is by being reputable throughout the community in your position, and being requested to join. The second way is through a direct application. Applications have no requirements but must show aptitude in the position you apply to. Applications may be PMed, posted on the forums, or steam messaged. Players may join with multiple positions.

In recent news, SPO has hit an all time low in productivity and this has caused a wipe in the members list. If you are a previous member and wish to rejoin, you must talk to me about it.


      POSITIONS
Being a builder, coder, or modeller is a prerequisite before you may be any other position. For example, you cannot just apply as a graphic designer, or as a project organizer.

   Destiny RPG
Destiny RPG is a medieval fantasy mod created by Zack0Wack0 and many others. In this adaptation of DRPG, we attempt to capture the element of DRPG but provide our own spin to it. We involved many different modifications to the mod, and a custom built map. Destiny RPG provided SPO with greater teamwork ability.

General Discussion / Would you consider building a medium of visual art?

I've just thought of this and wondered if anyone else has the same thoughts as me. I would consider building a medium of art because it stands as work that exists to provoke a reaction, which arguably all art is intended to do. It's very similar to architecture which is undoubtedly a huge art form.  I'm not going to include a poll in this topic because that allows people to give their response without elaborating why. I'd love to have a nice discussion with some intellectual forum-goers about this.

I have a discussion opening topic here for you guys to discuss about; here's the question.
Imagine that you have just graduated high school and are now moving on to college. If you were to reflect on your teenage years, wonder if involving yourself in the use of marijuana would have benefitted or damaged your life experience as a whole. Wonder if the general involvement in weed would benefit or damage your teenage years in the long run.

What are everybody's opinion on this question? I've just thought of it and thought it could bring some worthwhile discussions in a group of people.

Add-Ons / [Brick] Arrow Prop

Arrow Prop

An arrow that you can stick in to the sides of things. Features the default arrow model, and is good for decorations/details. This brick is best used if in a zone, water, or invisible ModTer brick so that you do not have to support the arrow brick.
This pack contains 3 varients. There is a normal arrow, a tilted down arrow, and a tilted up arrow.

Off Topic / Windows 8.1 glitch

So I finally got around to windows 8.1 and to my dismay
I updated to find my desktop is completely black with no task bar. All the start up programs start up like hamachi and what not. Start button doesn't work, and the screen for logging in to my user comes up but once I'm logged in the screen goes black.
Can't get a screen shot because, well, my computer doesn't work, so here's a low quality camera phone picture :)

A bronze sculpture, originally sculpted by Auguste Rodin. Recreated in Blockland with a blocky style.




Statue of David

A result of the 1450-1600 Renaissance. Made by Michelangelo between 1501 and 1504. Made of marble. Inappropriate parts removed, for obvious reasons. It is a statue of David, the character who killed Goliath with only a sling.

He has been filling the Recreational Drug thread and the Post Real Life Pictures of Yourself thread with posts warranting against the entire point of the topic.

And then when you move onto more hardcore drugs (which you probably already have done), you will say otherwise. You shouldn't take pride in doing drugs.

People who are depressed, don't have goals in life or an aim, and who don't respect their bodies like many of the people here are the ones most vulnerable to moving onto more dangerous substances.

If he keeps it up, he will cause permanent damage. Strinick, what is there to take pride of? The risk of being arrested? The risk of brain damage? The risk of dying? I don't see why you are so proud of being a user of illegal drugs. There are no good qualities to it, and there will never be.

It is not an achievement to be able to control yourself from using a lot of drugs, it is an achievement to stop using them.

Real Life Pictures of Yourself Evidence:

People who post thousands of pictures of themselves online, who post a picture or video of almost every single thing they do to social media, and people who post thousands of status updates about themselves only lack self confidence and have nothing better in life.

Why do people need to post pictures of themselves to complete strangers? Why do they need anyone else's approval of how they look? I don't have to show my face to anyone beside the people I know in real life.

Damn I didn't know that it's considered to be antisocial if I choose not to post a picture of myself onto a forum of strangers.

Are you trying to imply that it's better to be obsessed with wanting to have love with people you don't know? Not only is it bad, but it's sick and very perverted.


Night Fox, where have I said that I'm nornmal? None of us are, and you are right! Pictures here are posted voluntarily. Chances are, people who constantly post pictures of themselves have low-self esteem. What is the purpose of it other than trying to have people approve of you? Also you may not know enough people who are considered socially acceptable in society, because many of the people here don't seem like that to me. Going to parties, abusing drugs, having love, and alcoholism aren't things which are linked to social acceptance.

I hope that is enough evidence.

I need one team to have the ability to inflict damage on a bot, and one team not be able to damage the bot. I already tried the setTeam event but it didn't work.

Anyone remember Space Guy's old cops and robbers mod? The one you needed team deathmatch to run? I realized that gamemode was loads of fun. I wanted to revive it. After 30 seconds of digging I found the mod. I loaded up an old save of mine, configured it and it works perfectly! I am now hosting a cops and robbers server as a little fun past-time.

About
Destiny RPG is a mod that was created by Zack0Wack0, Clockturn, LoserHero, and Chrono in 2008 and pursued development to 2011/2010. Destiny/Zack0Wack0 then quit blockland and some bugged version of the mod got sent around Blockland. I am hosting a version of the mod that is bug free, and compatible with v21. With a hand made map, exploration is not absent like the old days of DRPG.

DRPG is all about gathering resources and leveling skills to become the most powerful in the game. This mod vaguely resembles grind+click RPGs like Runescape. There are 10 skills that are shown in a custom GUI made by z0w0. Crafting and grinding is not the only thing in this RPG, though. Nations are a large part of it, too. Nations are groups of people that you can join that have a leader picked by the host. In nations you can: declare wars on other nations, donate to the nation, make friends, and get special perks.

This version of the RPG is undergoing major overhaul. There are new sword, pickaxe, and axe models. The GUI is being completely redone (see concept images in gallery below) A large custom map is being made with modTer, and all the nation's towns and cities are being hand built. This version also contains a custom made potion/alchemy system, and quest system for custom dungeons. Much more equipment will be added, like spears, shields and more types or armor.

This server is not hosting yet, so do not get your hopes up yet. Hosting time is not yet estimated.

This mod faces many tasks to be run and is private, do not ask for it! I am not a believer in keeping mods private but this is definitely one that needs to be kept private. Many of the commands for hosting must be executed through console. I do NOT want this turning into City RPG.

Some items will have a base stock that it replenishes up to over time
Example: The shop will have 200 wheat seeds in stock. A player buys 200. Every 5 seconds, 1 wheat seed it added back into the store's stock until it reaches 200, then stops.
An item's max store stock will be a number value in the store event, as well as the interval to add 1 item back in.
Player run shops
Players can click on other players to request a trade with them.
Trading is exactly like Runescape's trading

This is a new WIP project undertaken by SPO. This is an RPG focused around open world hunting animals, and surviving within the 4 different towns to gain better material to hunt with! The mod is basically done, and we are looking for terrainists to help! The map is massive, so we will need lots of good help! To ask about helping, PM me on this account. The RPG is focused around hunting animals: obviously. This is not only you can do in it, though. You can purchase property, grow plants (tobacco and cannabis), brew alcohol, tailor clothes with many dyes, and partake in the ever expanding hunting business!
