Help / PortForwarding for 2 computers on the same Network.

I've done this before, but that was when the ports for Bl were 28000-28030 or something like that (So i had more ports to choose from when typing it in under Advanced Settings). But now that the port is 28000-28000, what should the settings be so that i can have more than one computer Portforwarded on my network?

PS: I know how to portforward, i currently have it done for one computer but i just want to make it so that i can have 2 computers both able to start servers. (I have an ID and so does my brother)

Help / It's gettin hot in here...

I haven't been playing BL recently and during my little break i got a new laptop (for college). (It's an MSI, and i love it.)

Specs:
3GB ram (technically 4)
2.4GHZ Dual core Centrino 2 processor
9800M GS Graphics Card w/ 1GB Memory
Windows 7 RC

Obviously, it's powerful enough to run Blockland. But as i've been playing this week, i've noticed that it gets unreasonably while playing, and i don't understand why. (See the pic). Now, i've never seen my laptop get that hot, even while playing Cod4, Fallout 3, Dawn of discovery (Anno 1404), Call of Juarez: Bound in blood, and those games are way more demanding than Blockland. The only game i can remember that has made my GPU run hot was Age of Empires 3, but i don't have it anymore (borrowed it from a friend).

So, why is it that Blockland makes my computer run so hot? And is there anything i can do to fix it (instead of Prop it up, and aim a fan at it, which i have done.)

Games / Gmod Enjoys crashing!

So, I'm running Steam/Gmod on a windows XP computer and it enjoys locking up. I cant play for too long before i freeze and am forced to look at a wall, or the skybox until i hold down the power button and restart the computer.

I cant really say more than "I hate it" or "Make it stop" but i'm posting here hoping that someone has had this problem before. Anyone?

If you need anymore information just ask.

I wonder if its becuase of my 1,000,000 Power Thrusters.....

Suggestions & Requests / Removing the "Buried" Error

Why?

In the origional blockland, and with the help of the mission editor, one could actually delete a part of the terrain and then build a tunnel, bunker, missile silo, what ever.

Well, that's not possible in retail becuase of the buried error. If "Too Far" can be removed can someone remove Buried?

Suggestions & Requests / -45 and -25 Degree x4 ramps

Would it be possible for someone to make a -45 and -25 ramp that was 4 bricks long? We have 2x and 1x but thats just not good enough :P

Really though, it would save time, look better in some situations and produce less lag. (Think, instead of placing 2 or 4 bricks one would only have to place 1.)

Add-Ons / Trueno's New Colorset!

So the old color sets, yea they were missing something.

Softs!!

    I've removed that crappy "Truenos specials 1" column and replaced it with various softs! The softs come from the origional paint pack, and other softs from my paint pack.

    The reason i kept the softs from the Original paint pack was becuase i wanted anyone to be able to download my paint pack, and then immediately know what there favorite soft colors are and just how to use them. (I also didn't want to create my own softs and screw over anything you guys tried to load in this color set, it just wasn't worth the effort.)

So just give this pack a shot, build with it for a little bit! Maybe load your old builds! (Becuase in RTB you can select different paint packs ya know)

Off Topic / Looking into Laptops

My parents said for graduation i can get a laptop of my choice. So after so research and scouting around i came up with this for my system.


Operating system-Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit)   
Processor-Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53 GHz)
Memory-4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)   
Graphics card-512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT   
Hard drive- 320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive

Now given i dont wanna play like, cyrsis and such but i would like to play IDK Garrys mod, HL2, Left for Dead and have NO problems.

What do you think about it? Good? Bad? Any changes you would recommend?

Here it is. My app.

Now, its not done, i still need furniture in it but i figured it was close enough. If you absolutely want to see furniture in it to call it a yes or a No you might have to wait a while becuase i don't have much time to work during the week.

The build is around.. I think like 11,000 bricks? It has 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 sitting room, 1 Entryway/Living room thing

Modification Help / Making bricks (BLB files)

Is there any means of doing this now? I want to make custom bricks, i think i know how to do the code and such, but i don't know how to do BLB files. Anyone know? Have we obtained the technology to do this :D?
