So, I kind of disappeared from here around 2016-2017, I was definitely not expecting there to have been a school shooting connected to a Blocklander. Although given some of the crowds we've had, I can't say I'm completely surprised. It's bizarre how much seedy stuff and how many sinister individuals have lurked around this tiny community over its life.

It does yes. Those few users still willing to go the extra mile to use the site will become more extreme in their views as the worst opinions are echoed in a smaller group with fewer dissenting opinions.

On the other hand, the added difficulty of getting to the site, and it's disconnection from the 'normal' internet means it will be harder for the site itself to recruit new users to it. This in theory means fewer people who are vulnerable or susceptible to those views will ever get to the site and be inducted into that echo. However, there are still plenty of other communities on the regular web which are already echo chambers for the same views and these will continue to direct potential recruits to 8chan and instruct them on how to get to it.

It absolutely makes sense though why Cloudflare would not want  involvement with the website, but as they say, they aren't fixing the problem as a whole.

Is there anything new or is it just slightly better looking?

Improved graphics and all the DLC as standard.

If you've never played it then it's worth giving a go, but otherwise you have to decide for yourself if you can play the same game again.

Personally, I really enjoyed getting back in to it, even though I played it to death as a kid. The gameplay still holds up and you still get those "whoah" moments as you drift round corners at mach 2 and narrowly miss a bus.
Plus, a great soundtrack.

I'd have to guess as I don't have accurate numbers, but it's either Blockland, Minecraft or Terraria.

I think Minecraft is probably no. 1, but it may be beaten by Blockland. I played BL almost every day before we hit Steam. But I've played a lot more of the other two since.

woke up the next morning in bed with the girl who invited me but my pants were still on, so. had a killer hangover too

I hope you don't mind some unsolicited advice, and forgive me if you already have done, but you should broach the subject with the girl you woke up to.
It may seem unlikely, but if you don't remember getting into bed with her then there's a non-zero chance that you may have had love and afterwards gotten dressed.

It might be a month on, but it's worth checking up with her and seeing what you both think, as well as asking each other about birth control and your loveual histories. Always better safe than sorry.

i want to like alcohol more than i do. any times ive been what i consider "inebriated" have been incredibly fun times, but i have still not found any alcohol that is any kind of good. it all tastes like stuff and all hangovers suck ass

I'm rather the same.
I dislike most spirits for their alcohol taste, or harsh burning taste. Even in roostertails or with mixers some are just too unsavory for me, particularly whiskey.

Beers are alright, but I can still only nurse them.
Ciders are my preferred choice, especially berry ones.
Some roostertails are great if they're sweet enough. I love snowballs.
And I had the most delicious punch the other night, but unfortunately the person who made it doesn't know exactly what was put into it.

Westworld is quite a fun, yet simple movie.

It's pretty interesting to see how much they were able to expand on in the TV series, as the film itself can be summed up just by its premise.

Fun Fact: Westworld contains the first realistic description of a computer virus in movie history. It's a bit of a throwaway line, but keep an ear out for it.
